all on all, naruto would make a good hokage with some faults and so will sasuke

Most people would say Naruto, but as of RIGHT NOW, the best candidate is Kakashi. He's older and smarter- Naruto stills needs to mature a bit more. Give him a few more years.

The other two choices are Sasuke and Shikamaru, but neither will become Hokage- Sasuke will never be forgiven for all the things he's done, and Shikamaru is just too lazy to be Hokage (he would be better as an adviser, he's even said it himself).

As a leader, you have to be prepared to make tough choices that may seem bad to the people, but in the end will keep the village safe. Such as when Hashirama opted to kill Madara (his BF), for the sake of the village.

Naruto is not prepared to make such choices, he would try so hard to make his enemies happy, while making his village happy.

Sasuke for hokage. He has the smarts and understands the history of shinobi. He sees the errors of past hokage and wants to be better. He also has valid reasons to be hokage. Sasuke is realistic.

Naruto is too silly and naive. Popularity and people skills aren't enough to be a good leader. He thinks the hokages are heros and doesn't know or understands the history of shinobi. He doesn't need to be hokage to achieve world peace or protect his friends. Naruto believes he will succeed through blind faith.

He will transform the corrupt puss village like Konoha into something that acts like a model to the shinobi world.
