Are you trolling me? I'm pretty sure I presented all my arguments in order, yet you just go and call my arguments piss-poor? You haven't even presented one damn fact yourself! You say you know more about the NBA than I do? I'm sure of one thing and one thing only right now, I usually don't go parade my knowledge about things I know, but I can confidently say you're a fanboy and a young kid who only started watching the NBA. :flaw:
MAGIC. PLAYED. CENTER. WHICH. MEANS. HE. DEFENDED. AT. CENTER. AS. WELL. HAS. LEBRON. DONE. THAT? NO. NOT. YET.
Good enough for you? Well then let's continue.
Oscar Robertson. His nickname is ALL-AROUND.
You must be registered for see links
Hello :sy:
Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw:You must be registered for see links
Diaw plays F-C. Marion rotates when Amare goes to the bench. Not enough?
You must be registered for see links
I can't find others' since they're not star players, but you get the point.
DISPROVE THE FACTS OR GTFO. You just got burned sir.
I still have the Durant stats in waiting.![]()
nope i think you are man.:sy:. you're arguments was piss poor: for baylor all you said was he replaced willis read :|, Oscar you said you were guesstimating... need i go on:sy:. You are saying that i'm young... provide proof please of GTFO. i've been watching/playing basketball since i was a kid bruh... and you are saying that i'm a fanboyxd atleast i can argue for my favorite player while you post BS trying to downplay his abilities. stfu
omg you must really be dumb man. Magic could not guard each position at a high level man, he was a HELP defender in most cases which is not the same a guarding somebody individually. No it's not good enough for me, you still fail
And you're basing your argument on his nickname.xd please stfu with your stupidity.
Again you must be dumb, i said all 5 positions at a high level not pf-c:|. not enough, you still fail.
lol you are using irrelevant wiki comments to back up what you say about kg... i'm am talking about defense not offense... again, you failxd
Dude you haven't proved shit other then that you fail bruh, try again![]()
Wow, you really are an imbecilic lifeform incapable of stringing together a paragraph without mentioning the word fail in it. I wonder how the girls warm up to you with such a limited vocabulary, or are they as intelligent as you are?
I provided proof, Youtube wasn't available in every game the NBA had and had to do with Wikipedia. Which arse would edit Wiki for their own purposes? And I notice you haven't offered a single counter-argument, and instead offer "LOL HELP DEFENSE" ... why, were you there? Or did you even WATCH the game? How can he do help defense when the ZONE WAS BANNED IN THE 70'S UNTIL THE 90'S unless you're saying he's double-teaming all the time.
Learn your facts before dismissing your arguments. It's hard enough dealing with idiots in real life, don't be one in the internet too.
xd just like how you said "is that good enough for you" multiple times*sigh*. And now you are posting half assed insults because you are butt hurt that your arguments were shitxd, cmon man keep trying while i get my daily dose of laughs.
Your wiki comment didn't explain your reasoning about kg man, so it was irrelevant to your argument like the rest of what you said. So now you want to pull the "oh you weren't old enough argument" out of your assxd, we you there around baylor, oscar, or magic? it doesn't matter if i wasn't alive then, a true fan of a sport learns that sports history and watches film of the greatest of all time, so that aspect of your argument is BS, try again. Stop trying to put words in my mouth, Magic didn't have the defensive skill to individually guard the best at each position man he relied more on help defense which is not the same. You don't have to play zone to be a help defender dumbass.
Learn your facts and come up with a logical argument instead of REACHING because like i said before your previous arguments have been piss poorxd
What more did I need to find? Lakers vs Wolves and find the specific times where KG brought the ball up the court against Sam Cassell? Magic playing D on Robert Parish? Lebron hasn't even won the DPOY award, and you call that elite defensive level? Learn the sport my arse, all you were doing were mocking my arguments.
Because the Showtime Lakers played Run n' Gun basketball they weren't much of a defensive team, so there you go. The Wolves starting PG got injured, so they alternated between their 3rd string PG, their starting SG, and Garnett. What do you want me to do, find a clip where he crosses Iverson? You're asking for the impossible, and that's why I find you funny. You did absolutely NOTHING to disprove me.
I noticed you haven't addressed Diaw or Marion, which leads me to this conclusion: you weren't around when the stars were Nash, Nowitzki, VC, KG, Ray Allen. I also noticed that you didn't address the others, only dismissing them with random sentences. I bet you don't know where Stephen Jackson was before the Bucks, much less before that. I bet you haven't watched enough games to say anything about Tyrus Thomas. Lamar Odom has defended Tony Parker, Manu, Duncan, Richard Jefferson, and Splitter in his Laker days.
:sy:
Before admonishing me for not providing evidence, please look at your own. We all know Michael Jordan's father was killed when Jordan won the 1991 NBA championship (I bet you don't though, and that's without Googling), yet can you find any clips of him validating that?
Keep up with the weaker teams too, that'll elevate your opinion, not bash me for mentioning players you only know through NBA 2k12.
Reaching ... xd yeah right, ask any NBA-related forum and they'll know I'm telling the truth. You just THINK I'm reaching since you haven't seen these people play other teams besides the teams you root for.
Marion? Not on the same level? What man, you don't watch the Mavs? You didn't watch the NBA back in 2005, 2006, 2007?
I guess you haven't heard of Tyrus Thomas then, or Boris Diaw, or Stephen Jackson, Kevin Garnett back on the wolves, Lamar Odom. Same level my arse. They're all playing in the NBA, which is more or less the same level. You'd be right if they were playing in the D-League.
I've have seen lebron put players from drose to D12 on lock bruh more than once when he was guarding them-PUU
No one in the above mentioned can guard Drose . He'll break their ankles. drose is arguably the fastest player in the nba but lebron shut him down in the dying seconds of last year's play-offs.
as for the same level goes. of course there are also dif levels in the nba. if there wasnt, all of them will be on the all-star game.
Lebron has the size of karl malone, athleticism of a shooting guard & passing ability of a point but he cant guard D12 all night long though. maybe a couple of plays here and there but not the whole game assignment.
MJ. or lebron
KG bringing the ball up the court has nothing to do on his versatility of DEFENSE, have you forgot what we were arguing aboutxd? Magic playing D on parrish is one player at a one position not all 5 man. LMAO, this is were your argument takes a downfall... so not winning the DPOY makes you not a great defender and have versitale defense? *sigh* so by your logic Pippen wasn't the best defender for a year or versital on defense? He should of atleast won 1 but true fans know it's doesn't matter, his defense was on lock. I should say the same thing for you, it seems you really don't know the game of basketballU_U.
There you go what? so does that mean a player can't be a great versatile defender because of his teams playing style:sy:? I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT KG'S OFFENSE, like i said before that wiki comment was irrelevant to the purpose of the argument. You have literally reached for things that have not proved your arguments man.
*sigh* i have addressed diaw and marion, diaw was laughable to put him in the same breath as lebron's defense versatility wise, offensively you can make a argument. Marion like i said before he couldn't guard each position at lebron's level, i'll admit that he is a good versatile defender but he wouldn't be able to guard players from drose to D12 effectively. So your conclusion is wrong just like you argumentsAre you f*cking kidding me saying i haven't seen players like tyrus thomas play, please just stop because you are embarrassing yourself, tyrus thomas was a shot blocker he couldn't guard players at each position at the level of CP3 and Dwight. *sigh* actually i do know about stephen jackson stupid but what what be the purpose of me telling you that if hypothetically i was a noob i could always google it:sy:? Wow congratz to Odom for guarding a player like Splitterxd, you are reaching.
I do know about M.J.'s father death but WTF does that have to do what we are arguing about?
xd Again please come up with better insults because you are really amusing me with your stupidity. All you are doing is saying i didn't see this or that for your argument which is why it fails like you![]()
I've been on plenty NBA forums and i know your arguments would be considered BS man. Hey dumbass i actually don't have a fav team, i have a favorite player so i am really unbiased when discussing teams. And the current players that you mentioned, i have seen plenty of film on their skills even a prime KG(wolves) so stop reaching to disprove me when you can't
No one in the above mentioned can guard Drose . He'll break their ankles. drose is arguably the fastest player in the nba but lebron shut him down in the dying seconds of last year's play-offs.

Lebron has the size of karl malone, athleticism of a shooting guard & passing ability of a point but he cant guard D12 all night long though. maybe a couple of plays here and there but not the whole game assignment.
and i agree as far him guarding d12 all day but when his team needs him to like they do now, he can guard the beast players at each position.
i was trying to explain to him or her that no current player versatility wise(defense) can do what lebron can even if you name the older current players and say prime.
*sigh*
"Many players throughout history can do that." No, the level in which lebron defends positions 1-5 isn't common. If i didn't state in my post, i was talking about current players but i'll play around and go through the players you just listed.
Magic? hell no, versatility on offense yes, he didn't defend at the level as lebron does at each position
Baylor? same thing as Magic... not on the same level for each position
Oscar Robertson? the only one you could probably make a case for outta your list, but i don't think so. offensively yes.
Shawn Marion? Definitely not on the same level, 5's would give him huge problems
Bolded: link please, i don't doubt the PPG but i want to see the field goal percentages of Durant when that single player(not team) is guarding him. Like i said in my post a player doesn't score all of their points on a single player. And even if he scores 25 PPG when Lebron is guarding him if Durant takes alot of shots to get that number then it doesn't really mean shit.
And anyways i stated a great overall game determines who is better not just one side of the ball so i don't know why you are acting like i was implying that it only takes great defense:flaw:
and i agree as far him guarding d12 all day but when his team needs him to like they do now, he can guard the beast players at each position.
i was trying to explain to him or her that no current player versatility wise(defense) can do what lebron can even if you name the older current players and say prime.
What? xd
Are you saying Lebron can do Kagebunshin now and play D on every player on court? He can take on OKC now with 5 Lebrons on the court? xdxdxd
Magic playing D on Parish means he can play Center and guard Center. Anything in between he can play. What's so hard to understand about that?
I know the DPOY argument is crap, but you keep spouting ELITE LEVEL ... yeah, because NBA isn't an elite league right? U_U
Give me some damn footage then. You keep asking for NON-EXISTENT FOOTAGE, NOT ON THE INTERNET FOOTAGE you no-brained idiot.
Because all those players were scrubs when they first came into the NBA right? You act as if Lebron came into the league a superstar. :sy:
You can't believe old man Nash could cross Lebron right? There's such a thing as PRIME. Obviously I was talking about those guys playing when they were at the top of their game, they could guard all 5 positions!
Hello, I was obviously talking about when Diaw and Marion were on the Suns, when Stephen Jackson was on the Run n' Gun Warriors who beat the Mavs in the first round with Biedrins, J-Rich, and Baron Davis, of Odom of the 2010 Laker Championship run.
But I guess you don't know anything about that right? Keep repeating that reaching argument, you sound like a broken record. Go back to school you problem child.
It means you're putting the burden of proof on me since there's no footage, when burden of proof is on you since you have done NADA to disprove me. All you're saying is REACHING, LOLWIKI, INSULT BLAH BLAH. Better english please. Take note, English is my 3rd language.
Cry some more.
Then I guess on many NBA forums you were a troll. :sy:
I know I can't find any KG guarding Iverson, but he did. See the comments? He started as an SF, and he LEGITIMATELY GUARDED 5 POSITIONS. I mean really, your fanboying of Lebron has gone too far.
In their primes they can. Not shut down DRose of course, not everyone can do that night in and out, but they can. Marion guarded Nowitzki, Terry, Howard, and Dampier in his prime. Diaw too. Jackson guarded Timmy, Tony, Manu, Kurt Thomas. Odom can do that, I just mentioned it a while ago.
My point is, don't just think of the present, think of the past. PUU just farted his brains telling everyone only Lebron can guard all 5 positions, even going as far as to boast that he had been on many NBA forums, when in fact he didn't know many players had been doing that before Lebron.
It's like proclaiming that Bynum is the only center that can do post up and power moves at the same time be unguardable, when Hakeem Olajuwon would destroy Bynum, then PUU comes in and says that Hak can't since he's an old man. :sy:
And I was trying to explain to you that the others can do that as well. Marion was an All-Star. Stephen Jackson too. Tyrus is just a rookie, but he still played all 5 positions and guarded them. Diaw was a borderline All-Star.
What you're trying to say is that Lebron is the best defender that can defend all 5 positions. I say no, since that's completely false and would put down the older superstars. What you're doing is Lebron-wanking, since some players can defend as well as he does, you just don't know it. Are you one of those people who're saying that today's game is superior to the 90's, 80's, and all the other past eras? The answer to that is NO.
