From Pain's Invasion all the way up to now has been the best part of the whole story to me.

Hard to say. Naruto mostly kind of feels more like one huge, connected story rather than several arcs. Well, I pretty much liked the arc after Konoha's invasion (from Itachi's first appearence to Tsunade becoming Hokage), the Sasuke retrival arc, the Gaara retrival arc and the Itachi arc (everything from Sasuke's fight with Orochimaru to Sasuke's tears and his Mangekyou Sharingan). The war arc is pretty awesome too, just like the Gokage Kaidan arc was. Well, I just love every arc there is.

What is the "gayboy arc"? I vote for the Tsunade arc. Three sannin facing off was pretty damn cool.

This is my top 3:

1. Pein Arc: Fight between Jiraiya and Pein

2. Chuunin Arc: no overpowered shinobi and an epic fight between the 3rd Hokage and Orochimaru.

3. Tsunade Arc: where they retrieve tsunade to become the next hokage, alo fightning orochimaru and Naruto learns the Rasengan.

i thoroughly enjoyed the pain arc mainly because of the fight between pain and jiraiya and the fight between pain and naruto. and the overall character development during that arc.

the next would be the shikamaru arc. shikamaru had to grow real fast once his beloved sensei died. and plus naruto's new wind style rasenshuriken was revealed. that too was a good arc.
