[Discussion] Best anime of all time

So this thread is pretty self explanatory

So from start to finish not inclduing fillers and such...Which anime would you all consider to be the number 1 of anything? Please vote in the poll and discuss/explain why!



IT MUST BE A FINISHED WORK AS WELL

For me its between two for really being number 1... but i have four that i think are genuinely the cream of the crop

Number 1 is BY A WIDE MARGIN- Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood- i cant find ANTYHING wrong with this masterpiece.

Number 2- Also a wide margin above those below for me...DEATH NOTE...it would be number 1 however the ending and the way things turned out lose it just a couple of points but its still incredible in almost EVERY WAY

number 3...not likely going to be a popular opinion...- Inuyasha and Inuyasha the final act..one of my favorites by far and they wrapped it up magnificently i feel like in the ending series...

Number 4( honorable mention) Code Geass..THis show without a doubt for me...is one of my favorites and has arguably a top 2 ending of any anime/manga of all time.

Code Geass is defiantly the best anime, where Sasuke(Lelouch) is the main character instead of Naruto(Suzaku).

Naruto. There's so much to think about said series. So many hax, varieties of defenses and offenses. The animation and clarity of sketches is superb. The only problem is character devolopment. Overall its most enjoyable.

Death Note followed by Stein's gate it's not done yet.

Naruto's been good until it moved away from ninja type battles.

I like anime that are intellectual.

Haven't seen an anime that trumps Shinsekai Yori (From the new world) for me. All 25 episodes were so good.. I had no idea there were no openings until they added a random one in episode 16. I was utterly hooked.

I have a lot of other favorites as well but every time manipulation related anime i've seen has been so good... (Perhaps my love for the topic is blinding me?)

- Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (Hated the art and thought it was going to be a slice of life type anime but boy was i wrong.. A masterpiece as well)

- Another

I've watched some slice of life anime but only the pure comedy ones can make it on my favs list

- Daily lives of highschool boys
- Nichijou

Those two were funny as hell! XD
