Despite the heavy ounces of garbage from this entire series (and chapter itself), I found this to be the best thing about the chapter's writing.
It's actually quite sad, because, Kishimoto who created Boruto the Movie, developed Boruto's character in a way where you could tell that this was Naruto's son. But had him stray away from everything Naruto related.
He didn't want to try hard, he did not like to train, and he had no purpose for being a ninja.
Seeing a small glimpse of what could have been if someone competent was writing the series, is eye opening. Boruto and the next generation could have been an awesome thing, but at the end of the day, it most likely won't.
