Best and worst thing about Chapter 12

Despite the heavy ounces of garbage from this entire series (and chapter itself), I found this to be the best thing about the chapter's writing.

It's actually quite sad, because, Kishimoto who created Boruto the Movie, developed Boruto's character in a way where you could tell that this was Naruto's son. But had him stray away from everything Naruto related.

He didn't want to try hard, he did not like to train, and he had no purpose for being a ninja.

Seeing a small glimpse of what could have been if someone competent was writing the series, is eye opening. Boruto and the next generation could have been an awesome thing, but at the end of the day, it most likely won't.

This chapter wasn't as bad when it pertain to Boruto development, and I am happy that both Boruto and that kid wasn't yelling at each other throughout the entire chapter. I just wish they get rid of the sexy jutsu even if Boruto wasn't doing it on his own accord, it still pisses me off.

This chapter was only good b/c of Kishimoto's earlier development of Boruto's character that gave these guys some source material to base him from.

Their own ideas were shit in that regard. I'll watch the series a bit longer, maybe until the end of the summer since school is over. But long term goals, they still haven't given a reason for me at least, to support them.

I'm guessing that the card Boruto is itching to get is an Adult Sasuke card?

It was okay. I'm not liking the fact that the author has no originality when it comes to ninjutsu, at all.

Probably. Either that or Neji, but it's most likely Sasuke.

It was a fairly boring chapter, but it does prove why I'm so fond of Boruto. His character development and writing is beyond amazing to Naruto standards. You just need to compare the kid who barely knew the value of hard work presented in the first few chapters to the Boruto we see in this one for that, and that's only a part of his development. Another, for example, being the way he views Sasuke and aspires to be like him. Honestly, Boruto is far better developed than Naruto was at this point in the original series.

Chapter is good if you look past the steaming pile of shit thats is sexy justu. It feels like ikemeto convinced Ukyo to let him draw sexy justu so he can get off since theres no Sarada in her pedo dress this chapter, since you know, the dialogue was actually good.

Boruto character development in this chapter saved me from just dropping this tbh.

Wow, they actually developed his character and actually refers himself as a brat. Looks like, in my opinion, that he probably won't be a naruto clone, he used the sexy jutsu because the small kid was curious of what it was, he seems chill to me. Turns out Boruto will probably turn out to be interesting, at least in my opinion.

Well probably never now but whoever it is its the same creep who changed Sarada design and sexualizes every panel shes in(including the volume cover). You could throw the blame on Ikemeto but for all we know the editor could be telling him to throw fanservice in for the creeps/pre teen kids.

The sexy justu crap is pretty jaring compared to the actual writing on the chapter but whatever, it is what it is smh.
