Best and Worst Naruto/Shippuden fillers

[HashiramasStrongerCousin1]

Just as the topic asks. What are (in your own opinion) the best and worst Part 1 and Shippuden fillers? Which ones are the funniest, exciting, and awesome fillers? Which ones are so boring, that just reading the title of the episode and/or looking at a pic from that episode causes you to barf/cry/punch yourself/kick a donkey/do horrible things that may or may not be illegal?

I'm recently watching the anime again, and I want your opinions on this. So, DISCUSS!!

Forgot to mention, but can you guys please also write the episode number? You don't have to, but I think it will benefit other people like me who wants to watch good fillers.

i forgot most but i remeber liking the revenge of the shadow clones and i hate all of the flashback ones like the sasuke vs naruto flashback filler that came right before the war arc they are annoying. i get it naruto you love sasuke and you want him to be your personal man-***** so shut up

[partha420]

Best: Behind the mask is___________another mask!!

[~Dream~]

When Naruto's shadow clones turn on him is on my favourites. When Naruto and Sasuke's hands are glued together and they have to save Sakura and fight the bandits/thieves. Can't remember any more.

Do you remember what episode # they were?

And as for that man-***** comment, I totally agree. In Shippuden Ep 60 (filler ep), Fūka licks Naruto's face, then gets all grossed. She asks him if he's had kissing experience, and he remembers a very early episode of Part 1, where he kisses Sasuke... Sometimes, I too wonder if Naruto LOVES Sasuke more than just thinking of him like a real "brother".

[The Demonic Kazekage]

i remember in part 1 where they went to the village hidden in the stars,i kinda hated it

and also in part 2 where it was they were looking for some bug that could track any sent

the entire "Leafs history" arc minus the ninja animals one was literally the greatest filler arc ever. the animation was superb, the stoyline of the episodes was actually good, its what filler should be

[GreenV]

Best (of the worst lol)
Part 1: that Kakashi's mask episode
Shippuden:.... don't know .....

Worst
Part 1: I stopped watching after that rich kid arc, the kid who throw money everywhere, that arc was just silly and disgusting -.-
Shippuden: That pirate and ghost ship arcs, wtf...

[HashiramasStrongerCousin1]

Not a filler ep, but I do want to say something about a filler character, Sora. That kid... HOLY F*CKING SH!T, is this guy pissing me off in this entire filler arc. I can tolerate Naruto even though he can get pretty annoying at times, but this filler character. My gosh, this filler character... He's 15x (because he shows up from Shipp Ep 57-71) more rage-inducing than Naruto, and possibly the most annoying character I've ever seen. He thinks he's all special because he has some of Kurama's powers. F*ck that stupid filler character.

Anyone agree with me? Or is there some other filler character that you think is way worse than him?

[Altaneen]

I liked the one where the female characters went out to eat during the war preparations, Tsunade was funny in that one. I disliked allot of the boat to the island filler. Except the clone and mushroom one as far as i can remember.

My three personal favorite fillers:

-Kakashi's Face in Naruto

-Gai and Kakashi's Rivalry Race in Shippuuden (When he was about to become Hokage)

-Naruto's Impersonator Filler during the Adventures on Sea arc. (I really liked this one, it just had a nice feeling to me. The BGMs used in this episode were also totally awesome)

Honorable Mention: The Pirate Filler for it's overall awesomeness. Friggin epic BGMs used in this episode, Naruto had a lot of great action. Wonderful.

Worst Fillers to me would be every episode focused on old flashbacks we already know, and are forced to watch it for hundreth time (Sasuke leaving the village for example.)

episode 190 Naruto and the old soldier is pretty decent. Also 192 Neji chronicles, Except the bad guys are really lame, for some reason all the bad guys in fillers look really weird.

Also the Sora filler was pretty bad, but the worst part is the fights between Naruto and that girl. They fight for like 3 episodes and he's trying to find out her weakness, then finally at the end he cuts off some of her hair and she got all old and wrinkled and said "a girls hair is her life" then disappeared. So obviously her hair is her weakness right? Then they fight again a couple days later and he still has no idea what her weakness is... and he spends another 3 episodes trying to figure it out. Even though she told him.

Then the SAME THING happens where he cuts off some of her hair and she turns old. And he's like "Oh your hair is your weakness." :sy:

sorry for the rant but yea, I hate the Sora arc.

[Kazemaru]

i hated the sora arc and the sanbi arc.

i like the arc where naruto learns the rasengan. it was fun from his bet with tsunade to his fight with kabuto.
i also really liked the chunin exams arc, one of my favorites.
i loved the whole adventures at sea ark, especially "mushrooms from hell". XD it was hilarious when none of them remembered why the ship was all torn up.

[SasukeUchiha910]

all fillers are awful

[vincaocao]

Favourite is definitely Episode 101 xxx
Some of the fillers in part 1 were good, some were meh.
The shippuden ones were alright but Chikara is my favourite one because it's like the only good filler lol

[Ero sennin jiraiya]

i remember in part 1 where they went to the village hidden in the stars,i kinda hated it

and also in part 2 where it was they were looking for some bug that could track any sent

The bikouchi beetle episodes were in part 1. They were okay as far as fillers go.

I agree the hidden star village fillers sucked. 181-184 were bad fillers in part 2.

[Chaos.]

From part 1 i can say almost all were good....
Now in shippuden, i liked the sora one,the revenge of the shadow clones and the currently Chikara one!

Original Series:

Episode 192 - Naruto is interrupted while peeing but can't stop so he sprays pee while he runs across the rooftops and gives Ino a golden shower. It's alright until that happened, and I enjoy a certain degree of immature humor but even that left me in shock.
Episode 185 - Onbuu. Even the actor (Japanese) sound sick of it when Naruto goes, "eehehehehhe I'm tired".
Episode 186 - It's pretty good.... except for having the WORST CONCLUSION EVER

Shippuden:
Episode 281 The Allied Mom Force - AWFUL, Konohamaru gets all the credit when the moms drive out Sumo Wrestler bandits with their pots and pans and then celebrate with a potluck because they don't know how to cook food in smaller quantities when the man of the house is away. Also those poor ants, and Konohamaru's inexplicable flashback to said ants.

176 through 178 - Awesome Konoha History Arc about Iruka
Episode 180 - Was funny. Also Sasuke and whenever Naruto got pissed off.
Episode 195 - Shikamaru was cool and it had really good directing.

HATED 226 - Naruto had a bizarre headband fixation and invented plans by tightening the rag on his head and making stupid faces while trying to think. The writers seemed to have forgotten about the breaking-the-chain-of-hatred thing by having Naruto declare "You've been avenged" at the end.

Chikara is AWESOME

Generally speaking I usually hate episodic action, so you might guess any filler episode that is not part of a story arc drives me away. Especially if they are aiming for comedy because it usually means an episode about Naruto being the butt of a stretched joke for 20 mins straight, which I don't consider funny.
However, I must admit there was one episode where they managed to do it right, the legendary episode about Kakashi's mask. I liked how the anime pokes fun about this point on Kakashi's character for the whole episode in a wacky and light-hearted but still funny tale with an epic untwist right at the end. It was unique in its own way and the stupid plans Team 7 came up to unmask him remember me of some cartoons I used to watch when I was younger.
Among other arcs that really impressed me were the Star Village arc, the Raiga arc and the final one with Gaara and the weapon users.
Pretty much all episodes with episodic action is on my unfavorite category, but I will make special mentions to the rich brat and the idiotic artist Kiba and Naruto had to protect in one episode.

The first three arcs of Shippuden were the best written filler arcs I've ever seen in this anime. They really changed the formula for Part II and decided to make their own story arcs once in a while instead of overloading the viewers with years of filler and up to a certain point they were so good some of them could actually pass as Kishimoto's own work. All of those three arcs were spetacular, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be the Three-Tails arc. I know it is a bit long, but if you are willing to actually watch it instead of complain about its extent you will find some of the best written characters I've ever seen. Guren deserves an special mention for being more interesting for me than any other female character in the manga.
However, it was to good to last and once again the anime decided for the episodic approach. Ugh! Konoha's History arc was moderate, but the Adventures at the Sea made me actually feel in a boat with a severe case of seasickness to the point I could relate with Gai. Episodic action is bad enough, but doing an entire season about the main characters floating in the middle of nowhere was too much for me. Woah, sea bandits again! I could see a pattern in almost all episodes, it was like watching late Johto arc from Pokemon all over again.
