Why do people hate it so much? It had some of the most interesting and exciting moments in the whole series. I can't take people seriously when they're hailing One Piece as some high quality shit either, the war arc was good and had good writing in it especially in back stories like for Kabuto and Madara. Also ever think some characters are supposed to be pathetic and pitiful? Obito is actually a pretty complex character if you get passed the fact he came to realize how pathetic he was for living a lie and being used.

Naruto powered up because he united the Bijuu going with his theme of getting people to work together. Sasuke unlocked Rinnegan and learned its abilities but dojutsu unlocking existed before the war arc so. I also wouldn't consider the war arc of Naruto a proper war because they weren't up against other humans but rather various monstrosities for the most part. It was more of a chess/card game than a sloppy blood war with each side playing its cards. Especially when the Juubi arrived. Doesn't mean people didn't get wrecked and killed.

The problem is that people in the past read one chapter at a time and then say BS Powerup, Plot hole, etc. Those who read the whole war arc in one go will actually enjoy it.

I agree, if you read it on a week to week basis you feel like you're getting "trolled" otherwise you just enjoy the ride and develop a less biased opinion about the multitude of plot twists and such. The war arc was extremely imaginative and interesting imo. It also had an extremely grand and apocalyptic scale that imo makes it all the more satisfying as a climax and ending.

The moments in the war arc that involved Taka, Oro, solotachi and Sasuke were good. Obito, Naruto, Hinata and the bijuus firing chakra nukes made me sleepy.

I did enjoy the War Arc a lot but it's not my favourite one.. Perhaps because of the power-ups and stuff. Like I said, still awesome enough for me to keep watching. Don't get the hate either.

I found/find Taka horrible and the hardest part to watch tbh.

The only people who complain about it are the people who want something to hate at. The war arc kept everyone interested and that's why they are still here bashing it. IT WAS VERY INTERESTING! It had some of the best moments in the entire series! Both sides had their cards and they were played very nicely.
