Hey everyone!
I finished the first chapter on my very first fanfiction; "Berserked", I've never done this, so this is my first time seeing my ideas written down (in this case typed) before. I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you enjoy it.
Please comment, critisize, etc. I'm all open ears.
Takeshi starts dreaming of the past of 10 years ago...
Takeshi and his father are sitting on the couch watching a super hero anime for kids called Kajumon on television while his mother feeds his baby sister Yumi.
Takeshi: "Woah! Daddy did you see that? No one can beat Kajumon!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Hmm? Ohh really? Are you sure? I bet he can't beat your amazing dad, hahhah."
The credits start scrolling on the screen.
Takeshi: "He can!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Really now? Here I come, I'm a giant monster."
Sosuke playfully attacks Takeshi and Takeshi pretends to be Kajumon.
Takeshi: "Ohh yeah, Take this!"
As they play Sosuke checks his watch for the time; 7:16pm.
Sosuke (Dad): "Ohh man, I'm gonna be late, I better get going."
Takeshi: "....."
Sosuke (Dad): "Well, I'll be leaving now, I'm off to work."
Ayami (Mom): "Take care of yourself and have a good day at work."
Sosuke (Dad): "Takeshi, you take care of your mother and baby sister Yumi while I'm gone, alright?"
He gives a proud smile to Takeshi and waves good-bye.
Takeshi: "....."
Then he takes his leave. Takeshi looks sad to see his dad go.
Takeshi: ".....daddy..."
Ayami then looks at Takeshi and smiles.
Ayami (Mom): "Don't worry Takeshi, he'll be back tomorrow just like he always has."
Takeshi: "... ok."
Ayami (Mom): "Come on, its time for bed."
Takeshi: "Ok."
A few hours pass by...
As Takeshi sleeps, the window to his room suddenly smashes and wakes him up. As he's frieghtened, he gets up and backs up against the wall as a tall man stands in front of the window staring down at Takeshi with an evil grin.
Stranger: "You must be Sosuke Nakamura's son... Sorry kid, but your gonna have to die. kchehhehhehheh"
Takeshi: "!? I-I don't wanna die!!! Someone... Help MEEEE!!!!"
Just as the stranger was about to strike Takeshi, Sosuke jumps in through the broken window and gets behind the stranger and grabs hold of him.
Stranger: "Ngh!? .... what the... you bastard! I've been... looking for you!"
Sosuke (Dad): "So you break into my house and threaten my son's life!? You coward!"
Stranger: "Coward? No... I may have come looking for you... but that kid of yours could be one of us, after all, he has your blood coursing through his veins. I'm gonna get rid of you and your son. Now... let GO!!!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Nrghh... (Damn I can't hold him down forever.) Takeshi, go get your mother... and take your sister and get as far away from here as possible."
Then Ayami enters the room.
Ayami (Mom): "!!?? Sosuke! Takeshi! What's going on!?"
Sosuke (Dad): "Ayami!"
Stranger: "No more games Nakamura! This ends NOW!"
Suddenly the air grew heavy, the man's eyes started glowing red and strange markings started to appear on his face. The light on the ceiling broke from the intensity emitting from the man, sending sparks flying everywhere across the room which then caught the bed on fire. Then the stranger broke out in laughter and freed himself from Sosuke's grip with ease and punched him across the face sending him crashing through the wall and some of the debris hits Ayami on against the head and knocks her out.
Takeshi: "!? Mommy!!! Daddy!!!!"
After the smoke clears up, Sosuke barely gets up and blood starts dropping from his face.
Sosuke (Dad): "Ayami, Ayami!!! Dammit....... Takeshi... *cough* ghh... stay... back... Don't worry, I'll handle this... I'll protect your mother, Now get Yumi and go."
Tears begin running down Takeshi's face.
Takeshi: "Nghh... ghh."
As Takeshi was about to take off, the stranger suddenly appeared behind Takeshi and grabbed him by the head.
Stranger: "Where the hell do you think your going? Your not going anywhere!!!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Takeshi, watch out!!!!"
Stranger: "Your going down first, kid!"
The fire starts to spread across the room. As the stranger was about to throw Takeshi against the wall with full force, Sosuke tackled the stranger which surprised him and the stranger dropped Takeshi to the ground, the flames then began engulfing Takeshi's entire left side of his face. Takeshi began screaming as he starts rolling all over the ground and flailing in pain from the fire.
Sosuke (Dad): "TAKESHI! TAKESHI! TAKESHI!!!!!!!! Gyaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
Takeshi blacks out.
Suddenly Takeshi wakes up.
Its Sunday morning, 6:00am and the alarm starts going off and Taeshi's mother can be heard from behind his room door.
Ayami (Mom): "Takeshi... Takeshi! Wake up! your going to be late for school again, get up and get dressed! You too Yumi!"
Takeshi: "I'm up! (nghh.... .... School already? Ughh. Dammit... I had that dream about dad again... ever since that day... I've been having that dream almost twice a week.)
Takeshi reaches to his face with his left hand where his face was burned.
Takeshi: "(it happened so long ago... I don't even remember what happened after my father started calling out my name at that moment... All I know is that after I woke up in the hospital, my father died that night and that strange man with the glowing red eyes was gone, I hate myself for being so damn weak... I was helpless... ngh...)"
Takeshi gets up from laying in his bed and shuts off the alarm, then rubs his eyes. He grabs his school uniform hanging over his wooden computer chair and walks out of his room and heads towards the bathroom, but suddenly Yumi *holding her school uniform* struggles ahead of Takeshi to the front of the bathroom door.
Yumi: "Out of my way Takeshi! Tch, just because your my big brother, it doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want, you should know by now that girls always go first when it comes to using the bathroom! you can use it after I'm done with it, Hmph!"
Yumi slams the door shut in frustration
Takeshi: "Sorry..."
45 minutes later. Takeshi and Yumi are walking out the front door.
Ayami (Mom): Take care of yourselves!
Takeshi and Yumi walk to the front of the house ready to leave for school and they wave good-bye to Ayami.
Yumi and Takeshi: Bye!
Takeshi: "(Yumi never knew what happened that night... she was far too young. Mother completely forgot what happened since she was knocked out throughout most of what happened, she was told that he died accidentally trying to save me from a fire that broke out from a light that short circuited and caused a small explosion. I wanted to tell the truth, but I figured no one would of believed me...)"
They began walking down the street and then Yumi stops and glares at Takeshi with disgust.
Yumi: Listen Takeshi, I don't wan't you walking so close to me when we're walking to school, people will notice and think I'm ok with it; and I'm not! My friends already told me that your ugly and they don't like you at all, so do me a favor and back off, I don't want them thinking the same about me.
Takeshi looks towards the ground with a saddened face and quickly changes his expression with a smile and his eyes closed.
Takeshi: "Oh... o-ok, I didn't mean to make you feel that way when you're with your fr- ."
Half way towards school, Yumi suddenly interupts Takeshi as she notices her two best friends walking together up ahead.
Yumi: "Shut up already, they'll hear you talking to me!"
Takeshi: "Huh? Ohh... Sorry..."
Yumi: "Hey Yukari! Asako!"
Yumi waves her hand smiling and catches her friends' attention and runs to their side; accompanying them while leaving Takeshi walking alone.
Yukari: "Oh hey Yumi, good morning."
Asako: "Hey Yumi."
Asako notices Takeshi behind Yumi.
Asako: "Were you walking with that ugly-looking brother of yours? That face of his... he's such an eyesore."
Yumi: "What are you talking about!? I wasn't walking with him! I hate it when he tries to tag along."
Yukari: "Yeah, I know what you mean. Lets go *laughs*.
Yumi and her friends walk further up ahead, setting a greater distance between them and Takeshi. Takeshi then comes to a halt from where he was walking and tightens up his fist but then releases shortly after as he stares at the ground in silence.
Takeshi: "nhh.......... ..... tch, who cares what they think about me, its not like it... matters anyway..."
Then as Takeshi continues his way up the street, the school can be seen up ahead. On the building, a sign displays, "Welcome to Kojiki High School". Takeshi enters the school and into his classroom and goes to sit at his desk, placed near the back-end of the room. From there he can see almost the entire class, he can see everyone talking amongst each other like they normally do everyday before class started.
Takeshi: "(Towards the middle-left of the classroom, there sat Aina Miyake, a beatiful, nice, and popular girl, the guys would come flocking to her, they all would give her flowers, gifts, and all other sorts of things. But she only showed afection towards one guy, that guy is Kazuki Oshiro, a normal guy that just seems too lucky. He has three girls trying their best to win him over (Aina, Mitsuko, and Nanami) like a war of love, although he's completely oblivious to it all... If I didn't have these burns on my face... would I have been... like him?)"
Aina walks up to Kazuki blushing, urging herself to say something.
Aina: "Uh... uhh uhmm... Kazuki?"
Kazuki: "Hm? Oh hey Aina, what's up?"
Aina: "Uhm... w-well there's this movie that just came out that's said to be really good and I was wondering... w-w-would you... g-go with me to see it!?"
Suddenly two other girls stood before Kazuki that grew angry with him.
Mitsuko: Kazuki! Your going with me, aren't you!?
Nanami: "As if Mitsuko! He said he would go with me! Right Kazuki?"
Nanami grabs a hold of his arm and brushes her chest up against Kazuki's arm as she giggles. Kazuki blushes and turns his head the other way.
Kazuki: "Ngh!!!! I-I uhhh... well..."
Aina starts getting jealous
Aina: "!!!... Kaaa...zuuu...kiiii!!!!"
Fear then strikes Kazuki.
Aina: "Kazuki! Y-y-you PERVERT!!! Nghh..."
She slaps him, leaving him with a red hand-print on his face.
Aina: "hmph!"
Aina walks back to her seat feeling angry.
Kazuki: "ugh... what did... I do...? gha.." *face falls flat to the desk*
Takeshi sitting in his desk, he begins to feel a great distance between himself and the class.
Takeshi: "(...... Why him?... why?, he has friends a-and girls that like him so much... and yet I'm here... all alone. People hate me because the way I look... I wish I could get to know everyone... that they can see that I'm just a normal person, that maybe I could make some friends. Damn it! I hate this, kgh... I want to change, I- I wish I could jus-. )"
Suddenly the teacher arrives and stands in front of the class and begins writing on the chalk board.
Mr. Murakawa: "Alright everyone! Class is starting, take your seats, then open your textbooks to page 314."
As the teacher begins his lecture facing the chalk board, Takeshi reaches into his book bag for his textbook only to find it missing.
Takeshi: "W-what? wheres my textbook? I could of sworn I brought it with me."
Then a voice behind him responded to him in a smugly tone.
Seiji: "Looking for this? Tehh."
Seiji holding Takeshi's textbook in his hand, he begins tapping it against the back of Takeshi's head.
Seiji: "You know... you shouldn't be leaving your stuff laying around like that... that's how things go missing."
Takeshi: "uh-uhm... can I have my textbook back please?"
Seiji: "What was that? Why should I do that? If I did, you wouldn't learn your lesson."
Takeshi: "B-but... I-."
Mr. Murakawa: "Takeshi Nakamura! Since it seems you enjoy talking with your fellow classmates, I want you to read the second paragraph on page 315 loud and clear."
Takeshi: "...... Mr. Murakawa I..."
Takeshi stands up and looks at Seiji and Seiji looks at him with threatening eyes, as if he were to kill him if he told on him for having his book.
Takeshi: "I... I don't have my textbook with me today, I forgot to bring it, I'm sorry."
*The class starts laughing*
Student: "Hahhahhah *whispers* seriously, what a loser."
Seiji then smiles with fulfillment while Takeshi looks saddened as he stares towards the ground.
Takeshi: "(... I-I hate school... dammit!...)"
Mr. Murakawa: "Nakamura, you need to be more responsible. I hope your not planning on failing my class."
Takeshi: "N-no sir! I won't forget next time."
Takeshi sits back down.
Seiji: "You should be glad, that I'm a nice guy, heres your book back, tehh."
From behind, Seiji drops his textbook over Takeshi's left shoulder; landing on his lap.
Takeshi: "........"
After class, Lunch time starts and Takeshi walks over to the roof of the school since its usually a quiet place to eat, being that no one usually goes up there. As he reaches his way up to the second floor he notices Mitsuko and Kazuki standing close to each other down the hallway as if they are about to kiss, but Kazuki looked troubled as Mtsuko tried getting closer to him. Ignoring them, Takeshi then looks the other way and continues his way up and reaches the rooftop found on the fourth floor, then sits down by the fence that surrounds the roof.
Takeshi: "It sure is windy today..." *sigh*
After a few minutes of Takeshi eating his bento, the door to the rooftop opens with Aina standing at the foot of the doorway and walks up to Takeshi.
Aina: "Um excuse me, your Takeshi right? Can I ask you something?"
Takeshi: "(Huh!? Its... Aina... and she wants to talk... to ME? Does this mean...? Is she going to-.) Y-yeah, I am, what is it?"
Aina: "Have you seen Kazuki? I've been looking for him everywhere. Have you seen him?"
Disappointed, Takeshi faces the ground disgusted by his reaction. He then briefly flashes back about seeing Kazuki in the hallway with Mitsuko.
Takeshi: "Sorry, I haven't seen him..."
Aina: "Oh I see... *bows* Sorry for troubling you."
She walks back inside the building and 15 minutes pass by.
Takeshi tightens up his grip holding his bento box and with frustration he tosses it asside.
Takeshi: "I should of known... To think Aina would confess to me, she doesn't even know who I am... and with the way I look... nghhh... I'm such an idiot!"
Then he notices something on the ground, a strange looking red stone emanating with a dim and yet radiant light and walks to it and picks it up.
Takeshi: "(What's this? Wait a second... this looks like the necklace that
Aina always wears... but I never noticed this stone attached to it, I guess its because she always wears it under her shirt. did she drop this? I should probably return it to her.)"
Suddenly...
Seiji: "Would you look at that, now he's talking to himself, I gotta say... that's really pathetic."
Seiji's two friends, Juro and Ichirou stand behind him laughing. Takeshi then puts the stone in his pocket and tries to act kool with them.
Takeshi: "...!? Oh its you guys, uh... h-hey."
Seiji: "Its you guys? Tch, don't act all kool with us, we're not your buddies. And what was that about Aina?"
Juro: "He actually thought that Aina would confess to him about her undying love for him, hehheh yeah right."
Ichirou: "Hehh... wow he must be pretty desparate to think something like that."
Seiji: "Tch... So you think your sucha' big shot that you go thinking Aina would confess to an ugly retard like you? Maaaan... your as dumb as they get. Juro! Ichirou! grab hold of him, he's not going anywhere, I wanna show him what happens whe you talk to Aina without my permission."
Juro and Ichirou: "Right!"
Juro and Ichirou then grabs hold of each of Takeshi's arms, then Seiji starts punching him across the face and in his stomach and then stops.
Ichirou: "Hehheh, had enough yet!?"
Seiji: "Wait... I'm not done with him yet, hold him a little longer, I'm going to break that arm of his, I'm gonna teach him a damn lesson he won't forget."
Ichirou, Juro, and Takeshi: "!!!?"
Juro: "You... serious man?"
Seiji: "You damn right I'm serious!"
Ichirou: "Yo, what if he squeels on us and tells the teachers?"
Seiji: "Hmph... Don't worry about that, he isn't going to squeel on us. He's going to say he fell down the stairs on his way down from the rooftop... that it was an accident, right Takeshi?"
Takeshi: "Ghh!!!! W-w-w-wait!!! Please don't!!!"
Seiji: "I've been taking martial art classes so I know what I'm doing, you better get ready, this is gonna hurt... A LOT! hyaaaaaa!!!!."
Takeshi: "Noooooo!!!!!"
The scene changes to Aina, Kazuki, and Mitsuko...
Aina: "Kaaazuukii!!! Y-you PERVERT!"
She slaps Kazuki after finding Mitsuko on the edge of kissing Kazuki.
Kazuki: "This time... it really... wasn't my... fault... ghuuh..." *knocks out*
Mitsuko rushes to his side with Kazuki on the ground passed out.
Mitsuko: "Kazuki, are you alright!? Aina I think you went too far this time."
Aina Starts blushing.
Aina: "W-well you shouldn't be getting so close to him..."
Mitsuko: "Are you... jealous?
Aina: "What! of course not! its just that..."
Mitsuko: "Well you shouldn't be. You and Nanami have been finding ways to be alone with him, so I thought it be fair if I could do the same."
Nanami enters the scene and notices Kazuki laying on the ground.
Nanami: "My poor Kazuki! he's knocked out, I guess I'll have to give him... CPR."
Nanami gets close to his face and suddenly Kazuki wakes up backing up against a wall.
Kazuki: "!? W-wait that's not neccessary! See I'm awake, see!"
Nanami: "Oh, that's too bad, I was really looking forward to doing it to you too..."
Mitsuko: "Nanami!"
Aina: "Nghh... come on you guys, we're supposed cut class and meet up with Ryuuji 15 minutes ago, remember? He said it was more important than school."
Kazuki: "Ohh yeah, I almost forgot about that."
Mitsuko: "hmm? Aina, wheres your necklace?"
Aina: "What do you mean? I'm weari- !!?? Ohh no! Where did it go?"
Aina starts feeling worried.
Aina: "Oh no! What if I can't find it!?"
Kazuki: "Where could you have dropped it?"
Aina: "I could've dropped it anywhere; in the classroom, the cafeteria... I don't know. I spent most of my time looking for you Kazuki, ..... Noo, this is bad."
Kazuki: "That's not good, we better go and find it, if someone gets ahold of it..."
Mitsuko: "I told you earlier to get a new necklace for that stone, the one you bought for it was so cheap, hahhahhah."
Nanami: "Mitsuko, it's not funny, we better help her find it... and soon."
Mitsuko: "Ohh come on! Its not like anyone can just use the stone."
Nanami: "That may be the case... but we can't be too sure on that."
Mitsuko: "Fine..."
Nanami: "I'll go back to the classroom and look there. Mitsuko and Kazuki, you guys go to the first floor and then split up to look for it there, Aina look anywhere you might think you've dropped it, starting near the cafeteria."
Aina: "Alright, understood."
Kazuki: "lets go!"
The scene returns to Takeshi and Seiji.
A loud snap can be heard as his arm breaks, looking disfigured and completely out of place.
Takeshi: "Ghaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!! gh... kch... nghh.. aaaaaaaaahhh!!!"
Juro: "Holy sh** dude, you totally f**ed up his arm."
Takeshi: "Nhhh.... Nhhh.... kchhhhh....ghuhh..."
Takeshi falls to the ground holding his right arm in agonizing pain.
Seiji: *smirks* "Your pathetic... stay away from Aina or we'll really kick your ass! She's too good for someone like you. Don't you get it!? Your-a-loser. No one even notices you during class because of that ugly face of yours, your a shut-in and you don't have any friends, its pathetic. Theres no room for you here, there's no purpose for you here. Oh but don't worry... I can give you one *points towards the ground*. You can start by eating the gum off the ground over there. Afterall, someone's gotta clean it up, you'll be helping the environment, hahhahhahhah."
Seiji friends laugh in agreement with him.
As Takeshi is groveling on the ground, he closes his eyes in the feeling of helplessness and starts having flash backs with voices repeating in his mind.
(Yumi *on the way to school*: "My friends already told me that your ugly and they don't like you at all, so do me a favor and back off!" Asako *walking with Yumi*: "Were you walking with that ugly-looking brother of yours? That face of his... he's such an eyesore." Student *during class*: "Hahahah *whispers* seriously, what a loser."
Takeshi: "Kch! (Why me?... why do people hate me so much?... I don't understand. Why do they label me as some kind of disease!? its not fair... everyone lives on in their happy lives... everyone! And yet... and yet... I'm here... all alone...)
Tears begin to fall to the ground from his face.
Seiji: "Would you look at that, heh, look, we made him cry, hahhahhah!"
Ichirou: "Tch, what a loser, hahhahhah!"
Juro: "What can you say, he's so weak, hahhahhahhah!"
Suddenly the stone in his pocket starts pulsating.
*thump thump*
Takeshi: "(Dammit! its not fair... its not fair!)"
The scene switches to Aina.
Aina: "Darn... I can't find it anywhere..."
Suddenly it hits Aina and she has a flash back.
Aina: "Wait a second! (That time when I went to go ask Takeshi.... it was so windy up there... it must have fallen off from the force of the wind. It has to... it has to be there!")
Aina wastes no time and rushes to the rooftop.
The scene then goes back to Takeshi.
Takeshi then starts growing with anger, all his emotions he's suppressed is slowly rising to the surface and he starts tightening up his fist.
*thump thump*
Takeshi: "Its not fair... Kch! dammit, dammit, DAMMIT! DAMMIT!!! DAAAMMMIIITTT!!!!! Its not FAIR!!!!!"
Seiji: "Huh? I think he's finally lost it. Hahahahah!"
Juro and Ichirou: "Hahhahhahhah!"
*slam!* The door to the rooftop flys open and there stands Aina. She then notices the light emerging from his pockect.
Aina: "Ngh!!?? ( The stone is resonating with Takeshi's emotions, impossible, is he...?)
Seiji: "!? Why are you here?"
*thump thump*
Aina: "Takeshi! You need to calm down... ngh!"
Takeshi: "Kchhhh.... I... I hate this school... I hate everything! I hate all of you!!! Ghyaaaaahhhh!!!!
Takeshi suddenly stands up and the air starts feeling heavy and the ground beneath him cracks, then his arm suddenly starts regenerating. He slowly looks from the ground up and stares directly at Seiji with complete rage in his eyes, his eyes starts glowing vividly bright red and strange markings appear on his face, his burn scars on his face completely vanish!
Juro: "Wha- what the... wh-whats going on!? How the hell is he doing that!?"
Seiji: "Juro! What are you talking about!? This must be some sad elaborate attempt to scare us! Tch I'll just kick his ass until he can't move anymore. Hehheh!"
Aina: "(Ohh no, he's going beserk!! He doesn't know how to control the surge stone. At this rate... he'll kill everyone!) No wait!!"
Seiji: "Take this loser!!!"
Takeshi catches his punch in the palm of his hand with ease.
Takeshi: "ughhhhhhh...grhaaaahhhhh!!!!"
He pushes his hand forward breaking the bones in his wrist and then smashes his entire fist beyond repair; breaking every bone including his fingers, forcing the broken bones to surface through his skin as blood gushes out, then back-hands him across the face sending him plumeting against the concrete wall by the rooftop door. Ichirou and Juro become scared for their lives.
Takeshi then looks in the direction of Seiji's friends and starts slowly walking towards them. Juro and Ichirou starts backing up until they reach their backs against the wall.
Juro: "W-W-We're sorry!!! Please don't hurt us! we're sorry, it was all Seiji's idea!"
Ichirou: "Yeah man... we were forced to do it!"
Takeshi: "hehhhhhhhhhh....... grrhhhhhhh....."
Juro: "Please d-don't man! We'll do anything!"
Takeshi: "khhhhhhhhh.......... ghyaaaaaaahhh!!!!
Ichirou: "We're sorry, we won't do it again, we swear! Nooo!!!!"
Just as when Takeshi was about to tear them apart, suddenly an arm reaches in and intercepts his fist and grabs hold of him.
Aina: "!!!?? R-Ryuuji!? (he's fast! I didn't even see him coming!) What are you doing here? I thought you were at the HQ."
With an apathetic voice, Ryuuji responds.
Ryuuji: "*sigh* You guys were taking so long, I couldn't wait anymore... so I decided to come get you guys... Now I'm glad I did, if I didn't you all would've been dead right about now... On my way here, I thought I sensed something was going on... but I never expected it would be another Berserker... how the hell did he even get ahold of a surge stone?"
Aina starts feeling guilty and looks the other way.
Aina: "Ngh... well... I sort of... lost mine."
Ryuuji: "Ohh man.... I gave you guys each of those surge stones in hope that you guys would be responsible with them... and yet you lose it during school? *sigh* What am I gonna do with you guys..."
Takeshi: "Graaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ryuuji then turns to Takeshi still holding him.
Ryuuji: "As for you...that's enough..."
Ryuuji hits him in the stomach and takes the surge stone from his pocket, Takeshi returns to normal and knocks out. Then Ryuuji throws the surge stone back to Aina and she catches it.
Ryuuji: "(It's a good thing he wasn't completely in-sync with the surge stone... otherwise it wouldn't have been this easy to take the stone from him. But even then... for him to do this much damage to Seiji's hand like that...)"
Aina: "nghh... *bows* I'm terribly sorry about this Ryuuji, this is all my fault..."
Ryuuji: "Don't worry about it... these punks kinda deserved it anyway... they had it coming to them. As for Seiji there... he's gonna need to go to the hospital... he's barely alive."
Kazuki, Mitsuko, and Nanami enter the scene, appearing from the door entrance.
Nanami and Mitsuko: "Nghh!!!!"
Kazuki: "Ryuuji!?..... What the...? What happened here?"
Ryuuji: "Don't worry about it... at any rate, we might be looking at a new member here, heh."

I finished the first chapter on my very first fanfiction; "Berserked", I've never done this, so this is my first time seeing my ideas written down (in this case typed) before. I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 1: Desolation
Takeshi starts dreaming of the past of 10 years ago...
Takeshi and his father are sitting on the couch watching a super hero anime for kids called Kajumon on television while his mother feeds his baby sister Yumi.
Takeshi: "Woah! Daddy did you see that? No one can beat Kajumon!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Hmm? Ohh really? Are you sure? I bet he can't beat your amazing dad, hahhah."
The credits start scrolling on the screen.
Takeshi: "He can!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Really now? Here I come, I'm a giant monster."
Sosuke playfully attacks Takeshi and Takeshi pretends to be Kajumon.
Takeshi: "Ohh yeah, Take this!"
As they play Sosuke checks his watch for the time; 7:16pm.
Sosuke (Dad): "Ohh man, I'm gonna be late, I better get going."
Takeshi: "....."
Sosuke (Dad): "Well, I'll be leaving now, I'm off to work."
Ayami (Mom): "Take care of yourself and have a good day at work."
Sosuke (Dad): "Takeshi, you take care of your mother and baby sister Yumi while I'm gone, alright?"
He gives a proud smile to Takeshi and waves good-bye.
Takeshi: "....."
Then he takes his leave. Takeshi looks sad to see his dad go.
Takeshi: ".....daddy..."
Ayami then looks at Takeshi and smiles.
Ayami (Mom): "Don't worry Takeshi, he'll be back tomorrow just like he always has."
Takeshi: "... ok."
Ayami (Mom): "Come on, its time for bed."
Takeshi: "Ok."
A few hours pass by...
As Takeshi sleeps, the window to his room suddenly smashes and wakes him up. As he's frieghtened, he gets up and backs up against the wall as a tall man stands in front of the window staring down at Takeshi with an evil grin.
Stranger: "You must be Sosuke Nakamura's son... Sorry kid, but your gonna have to die. kchehhehhehheh"
Takeshi: "!? I-I don't wanna die!!! Someone... Help MEEEE!!!!"
Just as the stranger was about to strike Takeshi, Sosuke jumps in through the broken window and gets behind the stranger and grabs hold of him.
Stranger: "Ngh!? .... what the... you bastard! I've been... looking for you!"
Sosuke (Dad): "So you break into my house and threaten my son's life!? You coward!"
Stranger: "Coward? No... I may have come looking for you... but that kid of yours could be one of us, after all, he has your blood coursing through his veins. I'm gonna get rid of you and your son. Now... let GO!!!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Nrghh... (Damn I can't hold him down forever.) Takeshi, go get your mother... and take your sister and get as far away from here as possible."
Then Ayami enters the room.
Ayami (Mom): "!!?? Sosuke! Takeshi! What's going on!?"
Sosuke (Dad): "Ayami!"
Stranger: "No more games Nakamura! This ends NOW!"
Suddenly the air grew heavy, the man's eyes started glowing red and strange markings started to appear on his face. The light on the ceiling broke from the intensity emitting from the man, sending sparks flying everywhere across the room which then caught the bed on fire. Then the stranger broke out in laughter and freed himself from Sosuke's grip with ease and punched him across the face sending him crashing through the wall and some of the debris hits Ayami on against the head and knocks her out.
Takeshi: "!? Mommy!!! Daddy!!!!"
After the smoke clears up, Sosuke barely gets up and blood starts dropping from his face.
Sosuke (Dad): "Ayami, Ayami!!! Dammit....... Takeshi... *cough* ghh... stay... back... Don't worry, I'll handle this... I'll protect your mother, Now get Yumi and go."
Tears begin running down Takeshi's face.
Takeshi: "Nghh... ghh."
As Takeshi was about to take off, the stranger suddenly appeared behind Takeshi and grabbed him by the head.
Stranger: "Where the hell do you think your going? Your not going anywhere!!!"
Sosuke (Dad): "Takeshi, watch out!!!!"
Stranger: "Your going down first, kid!"
The fire starts to spread across the room. As the stranger was about to throw Takeshi against the wall with full force, Sosuke tackled the stranger which surprised him and the stranger dropped Takeshi to the ground, the flames then began engulfing Takeshi's entire left side of his face. Takeshi began screaming as he starts rolling all over the ground and flailing in pain from the fire.
Sosuke (Dad): "TAKESHI! TAKESHI! TAKESHI!!!!!!!! Gyaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"
Takeshi blacks out.
Suddenly Takeshi wakes up.
Its Sunday morning, 6:00am and the alarm starts going off and Taeshi's mother can be heard from behind his room door.
Ayami (Mom): "Takeshi... Takeshi! Wake up! your going to be late for school again, get up and get dressed! You too Yumi!"
Takeshi: "I'm up! (nghh.... .... School already? Ughh. Dammit... I had that dream about dad again... ever since that day... I've been having that dream almost twice a week.)
Takeshi reaches to his face with his left hand where his face was burned.
Takeshi: "(it happened so long ago... I don't even remember what happened after my father started calling out my name at that moment... All I know is that after I woke up in the hospital, my father died that night and that strange man with the glowing red eyes was gone, I hate myself for being so damn weak... I was helpless... ngh...)"
Takeshi gets up from laying in his bed and shuts off the alarm, then rubs his eyes. He grabs his school uniform hanging over his wooden computer chair and walks out of his room and heads towards the bathroom, but suddenly Yumi *holding her school uniform* struggles ahead of Takeshi to the front of the bathroom door.
Yumi: "Out of my way Takeshi! Tch, just because your my big brother, it doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want, you should know by now that girls always go first when it comes to using the bathroom! you can use it after I'm done with it, Hmph!"
Yumi slams the door shut in frustration
Takeshi: "Sorry..."
45 minutes later. Takeshi and Yumi are walking out the front door.
Ayami (Mom): Take care of yourselves!
Takeshi and Yumi walk to the front of the house ready to leave for school and they wave good-bye to Ayami.
Yumi and Takeshi: Bye!
Takeshi: "(Yumi never knew what happened that night... she was far too young. Mother completely forgot what happened since she was knocked out throughout most of what happened, she was told that he died accidentally trying to save me from a fire that broke out from a light that short circuited and caused a small explosion. I wanted to tell the truth, but I figured no one would of believed me...)"
They began walking down the street and then Yumi stops and glares at Takeshi with disgust.
Yumi: Listen Takeshi, I don't wan't you walking so close to me when we're walking to school, people will notice and think I'm ok with it; and I'm not! My friends already told me that your ugly and they don't like you at all, so do me a favor and back off, I don't want them thinking the same about me.
Takeshi looks towards the ground with a saddened face and quickly changes his expression with a smile and his eyes closed.
Takeshi: "Oh... o-ok, I didn't mean to make you feel that way when you're with your fr- ."
Half way towards school, Yumi suddenly interupts Takeshi as she notices her two best friends walking together up ahead.
Yumi: "Shut up already, they'll hear you talking to me!"
Takeshi: "Huh? Ohh... Sorry..."
Yumi: "Hey Yukari! Asako!"
Yumi waves her hand smiling and catches her friends' attention and runs to their side; accompanying them while leaving Takeshi walking alone.
Yukari: "Oh hey Yumi, good morning."
Asako: "Hey Yumi."
Asako notices Takeshi behind Yumi.
Asako: "Were you walking with that ugly-looking brother of yours? That face of his... he's such an eyesore."
Yumi: "What are you talking about!? I wasn't walking with him! I hate it when he tries to tag along."
Yukari: "Yeah, I know what you mean. Lets go *laughs*.
Yumi and her friends walk further up ahead, setting a greater distance between them and Takeshi. Takeshi then comes to a halt from where he was walking and tightens up his fist but then releases shortly after as he stares at the ground in silence.
Takeshi: "nhh.......... ..... tch, who cares what they think about me, its not like it... matters anyway..."
Then as Takeshi continues his way up the street, the school can be seen up ahead. On the building, a sign displays, "Welcome to Kojiki High School". Takeshi enters the school and into his classroom and goes to sit at his desk, placed near the back-end of the room. From there he can see almost the entire class, he can see everyone talking amongst each other like they normally do everyday before class started.
Takeshi: "(Towards the middle-left of the classroom, there sat Aina Miyake, a beatiful, nice, and popular girl, the guys would come flocking to her, they all would give her flowers, gifts, and all other sorts of things. But she only showed afection towards one guy, that guy is Kazuki Oshiro, a normal guy that just seems too lucky. He has three girls trying their best to win him over (Aina, Mitsuko, and Nanami) like a war of love, although he's completely oblivious to it all... If I didn't have these burns on my face... would I have been... like him?)"
Aina walks up to Kazuki blushing, urging herself to say something.
Aina: "Uh... uhh uhmm... Kazuki?"
Kazuki: "Hm? Oh hey Aina, what's up?"
Aina: "Uhm... w-well there's this movie that just came out that's said to be really good and I was wondering... w-w-would you... g-go with me to see it!?"
Suddenly two other girls stood before Kazuki that grew angry with him.
Mitsuko: Kazuki! Your going with me, aren't you!?
Nanami: "As if Mitsuko! He said he would go with me! Right Kazuki?"
Nanami grabs a hold of his arm and brushes her chest up against Kazuki's arm as she giggles. Kazuki blushes and turns his head the other way.
Kazuki: "Ngh!!!! I-I uhhh... well..."
Aina starts getting jealous
Aina: "!!!... Kaaa...zuuu...kiiii!!!!"
Fear then strikes Kazuki.
Aina: "Kazuki! Y-y-you PERVERT!!! Nghh..."
She slaps him, leaving him with a red hand-print on his face.
Aina: "hmph!"
Aina walks back to her seat feeling angry.
Kazuki: "ugh... what did... I do...? gha.." *face falls flat to the desk*
Takeshi sitting in his desk, he begins to feel a great distance between himself and the class.
Takeshi: "(...... Why him?... why?, he has friends a-and girls that like him so much... and yet I'm here... all alone. People hate me because the way I look... I wish I could get to know everyone... that they can see that I'm just a normal person, that maybe I could make some friends. Damn it! I hate this, kgh... I want to change, I- I wish I could jus-. )"
Suddenly the teacher arrives and stands in front of the class and begins writing on the chalk board.
Mr. Murakawa: "Alright everyone! Class is starting, take your seats, then open your textbooks to page 314."
As the teacher begins his lecture facing the chalk board, Takeshi reaches into his book bag for his textbook only to find it missing.
Takeshi: "W-what? wheres my textbook? I could of sworn I brought it with me."
Then a voice behind him responded to him in a smugly tone.
Seiji: "Looking for this? Tehh."
Seiji holding Takeshi's textbook in his hand, he begins tapping it against the back of Takeshi's head.
Seiji: "You know... you shouldn't be leaving your stuff laying around like that... that's how things go missing."
Takeshi: "uh-uhm... can I have my textbook back please?"
Seiji: "What was that? Why should I do that? If I did, you wouldn't learn your lesson."
Takeshi: "B-but... I-."
Mr. Murakawa: "Takeshi Nakamura! Since it seems you enjoy talking with your fellow classmates, I want you to read the second paragraph on page 315 loud and clear."
Takeshi: "...... Mr. Murakawa I..."
Takeshi stands up and looks at Seiji and Seiji looks at him with threatening eyes, as if he were to kill him if he told on him for having his book.
Takeshi: "I... I don't have my textbook with me today, I forgot to bring it, I'm sorry."
*The class starts laughing*
Student: "Hahhahhah *whispers* seriously, what a loser."
Seiji then smiles with fulfillment while Takeshi looks saddened as he stares towards the ground.
Takeshi: "(... I-I hate school... dammit!...)"
Mr. Murakawa: "Nakamura, you need to be more responsible. I hope your not planning on failing my class."
Takeshi: "N-no sir! I won't forget next time."
Takeshi sits back down.
Seiji: "You should be glad, that I'm a nice guy, heres your book back, tehh."
From behind, Seiji drops his textbook over Takeshi's left shoulder; landing on his lap.
Takeshi: "........"
After class, Lunch time starts and Takeshi walks over to the roof of the school since its usually a quiet place to eat, being that no one usually goes up there. As he reaches his way up to the second floor he notices Mitsuko and Kazuki standing close to each other down the hallway as if they are about to kiss, but Kazuki looked troubled as Mtsuko tried getting closer to him. Ignoring them, Takeshi then looks the other way and continues his way up and reaches the rooftop found on the fourth floor, then sits down by the fence that surrounds the roof.
Takeshi: "It sure is windy today..." *sigh*
After a few minutes of Takeshi eating his bento, the door to the rooftop opens with Aina standing at the foot of the doorway and walks up to Takeshi.
Aina: "Um excuse me, your Takeshi right? Can I ask you something?"
Takeshi: "(Huh!? Its... Aina... and she wants to talk... to ME? Does this mean...? Is she going to-.) Y-yeah, I am, what is it?"
Aina: "Have you seen Kazuki? I've been looking for him everywhere. Have you seen him?"
Disappointed, Takeshi faces the ground disgusted by his reaction. He then briefly flashes back about seeing Kazuki in the hallway with Mitsuko.
Takeshi: "Sorry, I haven't seen him..."
Aina: "Oh I see... *bows* Sorry for troubling you."
She walks back inside the building and 15 minutes pass by.
Takeshi tightens up his grip holding his bento box and with frustration he tosses it asside.
Takeshi: "I should of known... To think Aina would confess to me, she doesn't even know who I am... and with the way I look... nghhh... I'm such an idiot!"
Then he notices something on the ground, a strange looking red stone emanating with a dim and yet radiant light and walks to it and picks it up.
Takeshi: "(What's this? Wait a second... this looks like the necklace that
Aina always wears... but I never noticed this stone attached to it, I guess its because she always wears it under her shirt. did she drop this? I should probably return it to her.)"
Suddenly...
Seiji: "Would you look at that, now he's talking to himself, I gotta say... that's really pathetic."
Seiji's two friends, Juro and Ichirou stand behind him laughing. Takeshi then puts the stone in his pocket and tries to act kool with them.
Takeshi: "...!? Oh its you guys, uh... h-hey."
Seiji: "Its you guys? Tch, don't act all kool with us, we're not your buddies. And what was that about Aina?"
Juro: "He actually thought that Aina would confess to him about her undying love for him, hehheh yeah right."
Ichirou: "Hehh... wow he must be pretty desparate to think something like that."
Seiji: "Tch... So you think your sucha' big shot that you go thinking Aina would confess to an ugly retard like you? Maaaan... your as dumb as they get. Juro! Ichirou! grab hold of him, he's not going anywhere, I wanna show him what happens whe you talk to Aina without my permission."
Juro and Ichirou: "Right!"
Juro and Ichirou then grabs hold of each of Takeshi's arms, then Seiji starts punching him across the face and in his stomach and then stops.
Ichirou: "Hehheh, had enough yet!?"
Seiji: "Wait... I'm not done with him yet, hold him a little longer, I'm going to break that arm of his, I'm gonna teach him a damn lesson he won't forget."
Ichirou, Juro, and Takeshi: "!!!?"
Juro: "You... serious man?"
Seiji: "You damn right I'm serious!"
Ichirou: "Yo, what if he squeels on us and tells the teachers?"
Seiji: "Hmph... Don't worry about that, he isn't going to squeel on us. He's going to say he fell down the stairs on his way down from the rooftop... that it was an accident, right Takeshi?"
Takeshi: "Ghh!!!! W-w-w-wait!!! Please don't!!!"
Seiji: "I've been taking martial art classes so I know what I'm doing, you better get ready, this is gonna hurt... A LOT! hyaaaaaa!!!!."
Takeshi: "Noooooo!!!!!"
The scene changes to Aina, Kazuki, and Mitsuko...
Aina: "Kaaazuukii!!! Y-you PERVERT!"
She slaps Kazuki after finding Mitsuko on the edge of kissing Kazuki.
Kazuki: "This time... it really... wasn't my... fault... ghuuh..." *knocks out*
Mitsuko rushes to his side with Kazuki on the ground passed out.
Mitsuko: "Kazuki, are you alright!? Aina I think you went too far this time."
Aina Starts blushing.
Aina: "W-well you shouldn't be getting so close to him..."
Mitsuko: "Are you... jealous?
Aina: "What! of course not! its just that..."
Mitsuko: "Well you shouldn't be. You and Nanami have been finding ways to be alone with him, so I thought it be fair if I could do the same."
Nanami enters the scene and notices Kazuki laying on the ground.
Nanami: "My poor Kazuki! he's knocked out, I guess I'll have to give him... CPR."
Nanami gets close to his face and suddenly Kazuki wakes up backing up against a wall.
Kazuki: "!? W-wait that's not neccessary! See I'm awake, see!"
Nanami: "Oh, that's too bad, I was really looking forward to doing it to you too..."
Mitsuko: "Nanami!"
Aina: "Nghh... come on you guys, we're supposed cut class and meet up with Ryuuji 15 minutes ago, remember? He said it was more important than school."
Kazuki: "Ohh yeah, I almost forgot about that."
Mitsuko: "hmm? Aina, wheres your necklace?"
Aina: "What do you mean? I'm weari- !!?? Ohh no! Where did it go?"
Aina starts feeling worried.
Aina: "Oh no! What if I can't find it!?"
Kazuki: "Where could you have dropped it?"
Aina: "I could've dropped it anywhere; in the classroom, the cafeteria... I don't know. I spent most of my time looking for you Kazuki, ..... Noo, this is bad."
Kazuki: "That's not good, we better go and find it, if someone gets ahold of it..."
Mitsuko: "I told you earlier to get a new necklace for that stone, the one you bought for it was so cheap, hahhahhah."
Nanami: "Mitsuko, it's not funny, we better help her find it... and soon."
Mitsuko: "Ohh come on! Its not like anyone can just use the stone."
Nanami: "That may be the case... but we can't be too sure on that."
Mitsuko: "Fine..."
Nanami: "I'll go back to the classroom and look there. Mitsuko and Kazuki, you guys go to the first floor and then split up to look for it there, Aina look anywhere you might think you've dropped it, starting near the cafeteria."
Aina: "Alright, understood."
Kazuki: "lets go!"
The scene returns to Takeshi and Seiji.
A loud snap can be heard as his arm breaks, looking disfigured and completely out of place.
Takeshi: "Ghaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!! gh... kch... nghh.. aaaaaaaaahhh!!!"
Juro: "Holy sh** dude, you totally f**ed up his arm."
Takeshi: "Nhhh.... Nhhh.... kchhhhh....ghuhh..."
Takeshi falls to the ground holding his right arm in agonizing pain.
Seiji: *smirks* "Your pathetic... stay away from Aina or we'll really kick your ass! She's too good for someone like you. Don't you get it!? Your-a-loser. No one even notices you during class because of that ugly face of yours, your a shut-in and you don't have any friends, its pathetic. Theres no room for you here, there's no purpose for you here. Oh but don't worry... I can give you one *points towards the ground*. You can start by eating the gum off the ground over there. Afterall, someone's gotta clean it up, you'll be helping the environment, hahhahhahhah."
Seiji friends laugh in agreement with him.
As Takeshi is groveling on the ground, he closes his eyes in the feeling of helplessness and starts having flash backs with voices repeating in his mind.
(Yumi *on the way to school*: "My friends already told me that your ugly and they don't like you at all, so do me a favor and back off!" Asako *walking with Yumi*: "Were you walking with that ugly-looking brother of yours? That face of his... he's such an eyesore." Student *during class*: "Hahahah *whispers* seriously, what a loser."
Takeshi: "Kch! (Why me?... why do people hate me so much?... I don't understand. Why do they label me as some kind of disease!? its not fair... everyone lives on in their happy lives... everyone! And yet... and yet... I'm here... all alone...)
Tears begin to fall to the ground from his face.
Seiji: "Would you look at that, heh, look, we made him cry, hahhahhah!"
Ichirou: "Tch, what a loser, hahhahhah!"
Juro: "What can you say, he's so weak, hahhahhahhah!"
Suddenly the stone in his pocket starts pulsating.
*thump thump*
Takeshi: "(Dammit! its not fair... its not fair!)"
The scene switches to Aina.
Aina: "Darn... I can't find it anywhere..."
Suddenly it hits Aina and she has a flash back.
Aina: "Wait a second! (That time when I went to go ask Takeshi.... it was so windy up there... it must have fallen off from the force of the wind. It has to... it has to be there!")
Aina wastes no time and rushes to the rooftop.
The scene then goes back to Takeshi.
Takeshi then starts growing with anger, all his emotions he's suppressed is slowly rising to the surface and he starts tightening up his fist.
*thump thump*
Takeshi: "Its not fair... Kch! dammit, dammit, DAMMIT! DAMMIT!!! DAAAMMMIIITTT!!!!! Its not FAIR!!!!!"
Seiji: "Huh? I think he's finally lost it. Hahahahah!"
Juro and Ichirou: "Hahhahhahhah!"
*slam!* The door to the rooftop flys open and there stands Aina. She then notices the light emerging from his pockect.
Aina: "Ngh!!?? ( The stone is resonating with Takeshi's emotions, impossible, is he...?)
Seiji: "!? Why are you here?"
*thump thump*
Aina: "Takeshi! You need to calm down... ngh!"
Takeshi: "Kchhhh.... I... I hate this school... I hate everything! I hate all of you!!! Ghyaaaaahhhh!!!!
Takeshi suddenly stands up and the air starts feeling heavy and the ground beneath him cracks, then his arm suddenly starts regenerating. He slowly looks from the ground up and stares directly at Seiji with complete rage in his eyes, his eyes starts glowing vividly bright red and strange markings appear on his face, his burn scars on his face completely vanish!
Juro: "Wha- what the... wh-whats going on!? How the hell is he doing that!?"
Seiji: "Juro! What are you talking about!? This must be some sad elaborate attempt to scare us! Tch I'll just kick his ass until he can't move anymore. Hehheh!"
Aina: "(Ohh no, he's going beserk!! He doesn't know how to control the surge stone. At this rate... he'll kill everyone!) No wait!!"
Seiji: "Take this loser!!!"
Takeshi catches his punch in the palm of his hand with ease.
Takeshi: "ughhhhhhh...grhaaaahhhhh!!!!"
He pushes his hand forward breaking the bones in his wrist and then smashes his entire fist beyond repair; breaking every bone including his fingers, forcing the broken bones to surface through his skin as blood gushes out, then back-hands him across the face sending him plumeting against the concrete wall by the rooftop door. Ichirou and Juro become scared for their lives.
Takeshi then looks in the direction of Seiji's friends and starts slowly walking towards them. Juro and Ichirou starts backing up until they reach their backs against the wall.
Juro: "W-W-We're sorry!!! Please don't hurt us! we're sorry, it was all Seiji's idea!"
Ichirou: "Yeah man... we were forced to do it!"
Takeshi: "hehhhhhhhhhh....... grrhhhhhhh....."
Juro: "Please d-don't man! We'll do anything!"
Takeshi: "khhhhhhhhh.......... ghyaaaaaaahhh!!!!
Ichirou: "We're sorry, we won't do it again, we swear! Nooo!!!!"
Just as when Takeshi was about to tear them apart, suddenly an arm reaches in and intercepts his fist and grabs hold of him.
Aina: "!!!?? R-Ryuuji!? (he's fast! I didn't even see him coming!) What are you doing here? I thought you were at the HQ."
With an apathetic voice, Ryuuji responds.
Ryuuji: "*sigh* You guys were taking so long, I couldn't wait anymore... so I decided to come get you guys... Now I'm glad I did, if I didn't you all would've been dead right about now... On my way here, I thought I sensed something was going on... but I never expected it would be another Berserker... how the hell did he even get ahold of a surge stone?"
Aina starts feeling guilty and looks the other way.
Aina: "Ngh... well... I sort of... lost mine."
Ryuuji: "Ohh man.... I gave you guys each of those surge stones in hope that you guys would be responsible with them... and yet you lose it during school? *sigh* What am I gonna do with you guys..."
Takeshi: "Graaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ryuuji then turns to Takeshi still holding him.
Ryuuji: "As for you...that's enough..."
Ryuuji hits him in the stomach and takes the surge stone from his pocket, Takeshi returns to normal and knocks out. Then Ryuuji throws the surge stone back to Aina and she catches it.
Ryuuji: "(It's a good thing he wasn't completely in-sync with the surge stone... otherwise it wouldn't have been this easy to take the stone from him. But even then... for him to do this much damage to Seiji's hand like that...)"
Aina: "nghh... *bows* I'm terribly sorry about this Ryuuji, this is all my fault..."
Ryuuji: "Don't worry about it... these punks kinda deserved it anyway... they had it coming to them. As for Seiji there... he's gonna need to go to the hospital... he's barely alive."
Kazuki, Mitsuko, and Nanami enter the scene, appearing from the door entrance.
Nanami and Mitsuko: "Nghh!!!!"
Kazuki: "Ryuuji!?..... What the...? What happened here?"
Ryuuji: "Don't worry about it... at any rate, we might be looking at a new member here, heh."
