Berserk Manga Confirmed to Resume as Monthly Series This Month

This year's 14th issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine is announcing on Friday that Kentarou Miura's Berserk manga will resume in the magazine's next issue as a monthly series, after a 10-month hiatus. Hakusensha will publish this year's 15th issue of Young Animal on July 24. Miura's last published a chapter of the manga in Young Animal on September 26.

Miura took a break from Berserk in early 2014 to publish the six-chapter Gigantomakhia mini-series. Berserk returned to Young Animal in the eighth issue on April 11 last year, but then the manga went on hiatus again in June. It returned again in August, and went on hiatus again in September of last year.

How resplendent. I've been getting into Berserk these past several days and already read 13 Volumes. I'd seen that nothing had been released in a while and was sort worried that I was getting into a series with little hope of ever being finished. xd

Only idiots believe that story about back pain/surgery bs...... back in 90's and mid 2000 his reason for hiatus was never been clear the best explanation we got is nothing more than the "Stress, anxiety and depression" symptoms reoccurring from his time at YYH,

He's faking it ? its possible.. but well if its real normally WSJ will keep an update about his condition like they did with Oda and Hoshino sensei, but so far nothing yes ? i would understand if Togashi is a 3rd rate mangaka like Shimabukuro but he's not, so you can't really blamed me for doubting his reason for this hiatus.

As for Inoue-Sensei He is taking hiatus:-
a. For focusing on Real+ his art commitments.
b. He has said in a previous interview his interest in Vagabond is reducing so if he feels inspired then he'll draw more chapter last hiatus was for the same reason(besides his art exhibition, pepita and his cats). So don't have high hopes for it's completion, moreover it's source novel is complete(Eiji Yoshikawa's 1935 novel Musashi) Read it here:-
