What freaking side story are you talking about, Gigantomakhia is not related to Berserk. But yes, Berserk will restart after Miura's 6-chapter mini series.

Hmm.. I admit you got me there. They're very similar though, and not just in character design and art style, so I assumed it was the same verse, but like you said, it was never stated anywhere.

Whatever, it doesn't change my original point that Berserk is not cancelled, and is just going to continue.
