As we all know, Orochimaru took over A zetsu spore.
Which is usually, pathetically weak. Even weaker than a Zetsu clone. BUT, I will show how it makes Orochimaru INCREDIBLY overpowered compared to before and all the potential it can cause Orochimaru to obtain.
First off, the 8 branches technique.
As amazing and cool as it looks, it has a major flaw. Stationary issues. Like, it's ridiculously slow. The meme below pretty much points that out.
Now, let's go to how the Zetsu spore helps him with that problem. Aka, the mayfly technique.
Above is a picture of Zetsu merging into the ground. This technique makes the user able to travel long distances in short time by mixing with the ground. It wasn't as fast as Kamui, but it was shown to be able to arrive very shortly after.
If Orochimaru uses this technique, his 8 branches goes from stationary to teleporting freaking anywhere that there's ground to sit on.
Next, is the obvious "Senju dna"
I do not feel the need to post the page that points out that zetsu is made entirely of Hashirama's dna and senju cells, so that part is mute.
BUT, it does give his body the potential to combat one of his main weaknesses. Sharingan genjutsu, by using dsm to cover his eyelids.
The reason I stated that above is because Orochimaru could not use dragon sage mode because his body was unable to.
But now he has a senju hosted body, so he SHOULD be able to learn/perfect it.
The Physical benefits:
It healed his body from his illness that he gets every time his body is failing and that problem is mute now. He already got his arms back too.
It also gave him a borderline untraceable technique, so if he used the transformation jutsu, they couldn't tell it wasn't that person/animal/object. Also, sensors couldn't find him.
Two different elements added to his arsenal:
Zetsu spores and clones have the ability to use weak forms of Wood release, Water release, and earth release. He obtained a weak version of water and wood, but if he got dsm, it would increase those powers a lot.
Too long, Didn't read version:
1. Potentially Improved his 8 branches
2. Gave him a S/T ninjutsu that helps most of his abilities.
3. Potentially fixed his sharingan genjutsu problem.
4. Potentially gave him the ability to use dsm.
5. Healed from a failing body.
6. Untraceable by sensors.
7. Weak mokuton and weak suiton
