Benefits and Downsides of having the Rinnegan?

I mean is it better and more powerful than the eternal mangekyo?
Do you have more chakra?
Are your weaknesses exposed quickly?
I know that when you aqcuire the rinnegan you control 6 paths.
But is your chakra supply increased?

1. Is the Rinnegan better and more powerful than the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan?

- Yes, it is said by Tobi, Nagato, or Kabuto to only be a fragment of the Sages power.

2. Do you have more chakra?

- No, the chakra statement has only been seen through traits of the Uzumaki and not demonstrated by any other such as Tobi.

3. Are your weaknesses exposed quickly?

- Yes and No. Your weakness is determine by how well you can conceal those openings. Nagato via Realms was repeatedly using techniques and the battle during Konoha Invasion Arc. His weakness was each Realm posse one ability and had shared vision. His strategy in fighting became predicable. Edo Nagato, revived via Edo Tensei, once reach to full power, his moves and movements become unpredictable making him a formidable opponent for even Naruto, who once battle him, Killer Bee, and Edo-Itachi.

4. I know that when you aqcuire the Rinnegan you control the Six Realms, but does your chakra supply increased?

The only downside I can see is the amount of chakra it takes up.

I think this prety much sums it up...
Still, I'd like to make a comment on the "being better" part... I do agree that it is more powerfull, but the best case scenario is to have both an EMS and a Rinengan, Since they are totally diferent tools... It's like having a knife and a Frensh key... The knife is more usefull, but it can't substitue the Frensh key, they serve different purposes...

Even in his normal form, using the six paths crippled Nagato because he was not covering his blind spots of which Itachi took advantage of.

It all goes to who is the better wielder. No matter how much power you have, if you don't know how to use the power to its full potential then you run the risk of losing or worse, death.

id say its stronger than the sharingan, however ive notices some downsides to it, for instance...i have yet to see any people weilding the rinnegan without also having a sharingan using sharingan techs. If the sharingan is a lower form of rinnegan, then naturally you would think nagato could use those techs too. Imagine how easy he could have beaten naruto if as soon as he got close to one of the paths, the others spammed ameterasu on him, he would have been dropped in seconds.

rinnegan is definitely superior but because ems is such a unique dojutsu (no one else can have the same eye like 3 tomoe or rinnegan) so the opponents don' know of your capabilities unlike the 6 paths xd
