Are you one if those people that tries everything in their power to be different from everybody else?

Those people are some real weirdos, like I understand wanting to be yourself and be original, but when you start wearing all black and a goat necklace because "you're unique" or "a rebel" you end up just looking like a weirdo and I'm probably gonna laugh at you

Moral of the story, there's nothing wrong with fitting in or being normal, don't be one of those kids who sits alone at lunch
(Idk why I made this thread, bored as ****)

I don't take into account what others would think of me when doing things.

I don't try to be different or equal to anyone, I just look like by what I think looks good, if other people like it too, even better

Nothing wrong with being yourself, I'm talking about when you physically try to be the opposite of normal

I love the obvious hypocrisy of "anti-conformists" who all conform to the same "anti-conformists" model. The thought process seems like this "I'm not gonna conform to that group of people, I'll conform to this group of people who claim to not want to conform."

OT: There is no "normal" what you mean when you say "be normal" is "Be like me". Unless you're actively trying to fit into a group, no matter what you wear you are normal. Some guys genuinely love big ear rings(gauges), they aren't doing it so much to be different, they do it because for whatever reason they like the look.

I never get this be yourself crap. Who else could I be? Everyone is different in one way or another. Normal is what the majority labels as 'normal'.

Answer to your question: Nope. I like ordinary/"normal" things. Lol

So, even if I don't like some minor things that my friends like I'd rather tolerate than being a black sheep. But tolerating is one thing, and changing your opinion is completely another.
However, when comes to some serious things if you either adapting or tolerating in order to be "normal" or dying to be "different" then you are screwed.

The best is to be yourself, no matter are you "different" or "normal".

I'm too lazy to try to be different and too lazy to try and fit in. I'm just me

I think everyone are different on their own ways. So I don't have that feeling that I have to be different or something.

no one is different. these people can say they have no place in our society as long as they can but they're just being hypocrites. after all they all pay their taxes, have a job or study, have a family and friends who are in this society and i bet many of them will buy clothes from nike and GQ. they end up either with no job, no path in life, no friends or they'll have a simulacra of "rebellion", which is what i've just described as hypocrisy. the only way for me to be different of this society is to get some luggage and move to some forrest or woods hidden from our civilization with your hippie friends because either you like it or not that's how the system works.
