Teenagers have less freedom, but adults have more responsibility. It's more about how you handle things and not about your age group.

As a teenager, I had to control the households financial situation/bills, shopping and so on. I have to take care of my mother whom has kidney disease, a fractured neck, liver problems and so on. My relatives were junkies, so we were constantly broke. As I grew, life became easier.

I'm pretty sure if someone gets some disfiguring skin disease and then gets cured in adulthood, that would be different.

Of course individual cases differ. But I'm basing this on all the opinions of my friends and just looking at reality as it is now compared to before.

Well they do have much of the freedom sans the responsibility. They want beer, they can get it illegally. They want to rave, they can get fake ids, they want to party, they can lie to parents about a hw project sleepover.

It was hard for me being a teenager because I hated living under my moms rules because I wanted to do what I want lol as soon as I turned 17 I moved out on my own couldn't been more happier yes more responsibilities but I love the freedom

It all depends on the responsibility of the teenager, I'm going to university and I'm struggling with transitioning from a boy to a man right now so. An adult is expected to have it all figured out and be mature in their actions so it's 50/50 in my opinion
