Yeah, that's what I do but I just do it on my phone instead of having to transfer from computer to phone.

no smart phone, so i bought a cheap mp3 player for music and its more difficult to find a place to get the actual music unless its shit

I've been avoiding the whole smartphone necessity for a while too but finally decided to get 1 a few months ago. The thing is one giant distraction though, maybe you're productive because you don't have it.

keep adblock on and play the song before downloading.

As for getting whole albums i can't help you there. But really and truly streaming is the way to go. If you got a smartphone try youtube red, google play music, spotify etc. spotify is free but limited and the rest last i checked are 10 dollars a month.
