I've been saying for awhile now that orochi is working for madara, I mean orochi was planning on bringing madara back just like obito right? How esle could kabuto have madara's real body to edo? he got it from orochi and by obito's expression he new nothing about it..
so obito was to use nagato to bring madara back to life one way and orochi was to be the back up with edo (with a few modifications lol) either way madara wouldn't care because if it was edo he could break the seal, and if it was nagato's jutsu he still wouldn't have to worry because hashi wasn't around to oppose him

Orochimaru is centered around betrayal (ie; Leaf, Anbu, Akatsuki, Danzo, His followers) so even if he was "working" with Madara, Orochimaru would end up being his undoing.
