Naruto's legend is still fresh in ppl's minds and Hagoromo's legend is more on the status of a myth because of the time that has elapsed. Give it a thousand years and Naruto's legend will be myth like Hagoromo, at that time Hagoromo's myth will be above Naruto's.

Because he is know by everyone. Naruto was only know throughout the village after beating pain and gained fame during the war. The fame naruto gained sasuke already had from beating oro, itachi, bee, danzo, 5 kage summit. Sasuke gained more fame from the war. Naruto just got the credit for the efforts of other people because he is the the "mc". Being a hokage doesn't do much for you. Like I said sasuke is more famous but it really doesn't matter who is more famous, let's just say they are equally famous.

Danzo is Hokage???Sasuke didn't really get any fame for killing danzo. Not alot of people even know he was going to be Hokage. In the end he ended up dying and didn't advance as Hokage. No one knew only the people at the summit and that ended quickly. Also I don't think the Sannin are more famous than Naruto one big reason is becuz Jiraiya is dead so less knowledge/appearance about the sannin is out there.
