Dont let people get you down :/ I also have people putting me down all the time too but my best friend (who was killed in a car crash about a month later) once told me that they are always going to put you down because they are jealous of what you got that they dont have. They will always try to put you down to feel superior. So next time they do just look at them, Laugh, and walk away with a smile on your face because you know that they only wish to be you.

After she died I took this to heart and every time someone tired to put me down I just ignored them and laughed. I know this might not help as much but its something that could be worth a try

*Sighs* This is where your ignorance comes in,you obviously don't know she draws with a tablet,thus you're assuming she drew this on paper and scanned it,when that's really not what happened.
I'm a very good artist (Or at least people tell me so) and I've tried drawing on a computer,believe me it's not easy I would consider it at least 20 times harder than normal paper and pencil.Your ignorance has beat you,now leave this thread and leave the girl alone.

By the way,drawing classes prove nothing,you learn from practice and from your own mistakes.

I haven't been posting anything in awhile but i had the sudden urge to post on this thread. I just wanted to say, whoever said you can't draw is an obvious little cocky faggot, fix up. With that sort of attitude you'll end up burning when she does become better than you or even worse, If she actually is better than you.

People are generally nice I guess but I understand what your saying. The drawing is not good but that doesn't mean she can't be. You don't necessarily have to have talent to do a skill like drawing well. If you learn how to draw you will get better just like knitting I guess. Do you think people have to be pro's before they knit? Granted some people will always be better than others but I really see no reason to put her down because she isn't old enough to give up on her dream yet. I say give it 3 more years if she isn't by far better she should give up.

I get why you set off on her though because she sounded like she wanted pity because of her or lack thereof of drawing skills. I get it instead of making something like this she should be practicing. I feel you man (no homo).

I was reading this thread last night and i was actually shocked about some of the things that you said and i just want to give my two cents.

You claim that you are an artist and have some talent in the area, which i serious don't doubt and i personally have no ability to judge in this area because i have no skill in drawing at all. But i would hope that it would be someone like you who encourages this girl and inspires her to improve. By all means i am not saying you should lie, but you don't have to be nasty to be honest. But constructive criticism is what the art world is all about, you as someone who has a superior knowledge of the subject SHOULD have been honest, but have been nice at the same time. What have you done by insulting her and her drawings? Do you really think that you are helping her by being a jerk? Do you think this will help her improve and inspire her to better herself?

No, all you have done is hurt her and weakened her resolve to be an artist.

And how can you say she should give up on her dream because she has no skill, skill in a thing like art isn't hereditary, you aren't born an amazing artist. You have to learn and improve. I am certain that at one point in your life you wasn't the big hot-shot snobby artist that confronts people online by belittling them and there work, but someone just like this girl, trying to improve because she wants to express herself through art.
