[Question] BB Code - Text over Image

Is there a way to have text go over an image, as if the image is in a background layer and the text is in a layer above it?

I don't want to wrap text around an image, I want them to coincide.

They're many free text editing websites. You can Google them easily. Just type in

something will pop up. They're quite a few.

I know how to do it in Photoshop and Office, I'm asking if there's a way to do it in the Forums. I can also align text right and bold text in Word and Photoshop, but there's also the "[right][/right]" and the "[b][/b]" tags. That's what I'm asking.

No. There isn't a bb code that can physically alter a file.

I just Google bb codes and none of them allow this function. I saw one but it's only for the top half. It isn't that important to add this code when you can easily do it on your own or request it in the GFX section.

The issue is, it's not exactly how you may want it. Basically, you have to have a table with a background image. Then, the text is placed normally in the table. The text will appear on top of the image, and coloring the font would have to be made accordingly.

The only issue, the table feature on NarutoBase does not allow background images on it. If we can add that, it can work very well.


I've been trying to do this for awhile so I can make this awesome Bio Design I'm working on, and it'd be way easier if I didn't have to use PhotoShop all the time

the bb code was submitted by a user on a different website. It was not submitted on vbulletin i think.

You know how when you click on "Go Advanced" and then there's that Table Button underneath the Bold button. If you click on it, it'll show you options, one of them being Table Style. The three options now are "No Borders", "Outer Grid", and "Full Grid".

All we need to do is add an image option under Table Style, and then we copy the link of the image on a url section in the code, and the Table will now have that image as the background.

So let's try and get that as an option.

A custom bbcode could ofc be written for this, never seen the need for it though. Will talk with Caliburn about it and see if he thinks it's something that could be essential or at the very least useful for the RP.

Or it would look tacky and I still think more images would slow things down. No matter what you say, I personally will be against it. Doesn't mean the admins wont implement it. I still dont like it.
