I made this thread to describe why I think that naruto will NOT fight with pain, and also why konoha will be able to defeat pain without the help of pain.
I think Naruto will not fight pain, reasons being is naruto has no way to get back to konoha, or even knowing **** about what is going on there. that automaticely makes it impossible for him to get back. but wait I also have other things I would also like to mention about why he won't fight pain.
the first reason, Sasuke. Sasuke is a revenge driven insane maniac, the entire manga is about naruto vs sasuke, with them being opposite to each other. pain killed naruto's sensei, this gives naruto a reason to kill pain for revenge, so if they ever fight, naruto will still try to kill him for the sake of revenge. therefor if naruto tries to go up against pain, naruto will become EXACTLY like sasuke, a revenge driven child.
Now to make a discussion on why Konoha WON"T need naruto to defeat pain.
1)konoha is stronger than you think.
Konoha has some very powerfull and usefull shinobi. so far the only ones we have seen take part in the battle are: choza, kakashi, choji, 1-2 random chuunin, and sakura. so far choza has been killed and kakashi has been defeated. and all sakura has done has destroyed a summoning and is still raring to go.
Think about ALL of the shinobi in konoha. You have people like ino, shikimaru, neji, lee, kuranai, kiba, and shino. and that isn't even all of them, Konoha has Some EXTREMELY strong shinobi, and we barely seen any of them yet.
2)INFORMATION
Konoha, and konoha shinobi have like SO much information gathered on pain, and are already gathering more information. the reason why J-man dies was because he didn't know pains secret. Konoha is so close to finding it out it isn't even funny, at this rate pains secret will be revealed and suddenly defeating him seems alot easier.
3)Teamwork
We all know how it is pretty much impossible to go one on one with pain, not even j-man was able to beat pain. But Konoha IS NOT just one shinobi. it is made up of SEVERAL shinobi, which team up on the pain bodies, allowing for better strategies, and by isolating the pain bodies with different shinobi, all of the sudden pain can't do teamwork with himself. and he becomes that much weaker with the bodies having to work by themselves.
4)pain already 1/6 defeated
Pain already has the missile realm completely used up in the fight with kakashi. there is nothing it can do now, this means no more missiles. which means that no more super weapons of mass destruction to use on konoha, so konoha already has a much greater chance.
5)LIGHTNING SHINOBI.
the lightning shinobi are also trying to reach konoha to deliver a message. this means that if they arrive during the attack they can also help protect konoha from pain.
this is what I think, and feel free to add information on why you think this might possibly happen, even if you don't actually agree with it.
