Appears before you in a blast of white light that stuns you
Ah, Dm. I don't really do BT this way, but i'll do my best. Before we begin, I need to know everything about you
Tell me your current training status, your favorite element(s), your special abilities, any customs you have, summoning contracts and etc. Don't leave anything out. Tell me all your secrets
i have completed all the basic five elements, tai nin gen ken jyuken magnetism and i have a toco toucan contract. i dont really have a favorite yet because i am still experimenting with the elements but i do use a lot of water and lightning techniques. i am really proefficient in close range combat. if i can get in close range i can quickly take advantage of the battle and win. i have had my hyuga bio since i started rping and is most experienced with it.
Ah, that's good. I think your too comfortable with your hyuga bio. Its fatal flaw is that its too dependent on getting into close range and we need to fix that during the course of this training.
Shall we go back to the basics?
Tell me where you wanna start

With elemental combinations its not only about mixing different jutsus in straight forward attack, but using them in effective ways which supplement each other, and your fighting style as well.
You know how the basic five elements interact with one another, but here's a brief overview again:
Fire is stronger than Wind, the oxygen in the wind only fuels the heat of the flames.
Wind is stronger than Lightning, which is its natural insulator.
Lightning is stronger than Earth as it can pierce through it and cause it to crumble.
Earth is stronger than Water as it reduces the force of the waves as well as block them.
Water is stronger than Fire because it extinguishes the flames lol
Some elements will be difficult to use together, while others flow together perfectly.
A few good elemental combinations are:
Water and Lightning. The water conducts the electricity, giving it a more lethal edge.
Fire and wind also go well together when used properly.
If you use a lightning and fire tornado together, you can create a badass combo lol

If you've got all that, then perform a elemental combination and then we can move on.
As the command is given by anbu to perform a elemental combination, i then start by digging in my back pocket before revealing a small lighter, opening it to release a small flame. i then mold my katon chakra into the flame before causing the flame to expand into a wide human sized wall of flames i then draw my blade while charging wind chakra into my katana. I then wave my katana overhead before thrusting the my sword downwards in a vertical motion while releasing the wind chakra to create a large gust of wind behind the wall of flames thus forming a large blast of flames swiftly traveling and destroying all that it comes in contact with.
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary/Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user first throws out a lighter that has an open flame. The user the turns the flame into a wall of fire used for protection or to burn small objects thrown towards him. This jutsu can be used with Hurricane Fist to create a combo jutsu.
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user concentrates wind chakra into their sword/s and releases the chakra by slashing down infront of them to create a large gust of wind.
Thats good enough for now. Another example would be a combination of water and lightning.
Zero performs the necessary handseals and launches large wave of water towards the opponent and, immediately after, fires a wave of lightning bolts from his hands. The lightning combines with the water and creates an electrified wave of water that advances towards the opponent
(Remember that lightning travels faster that water so the bolts will reach it before the attack reaches into lonrage towards the opponent.)
(Ration: Ikazuchi Kashou) - Lightning Release: Thunder Burn
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 20
Description: The user fires a wave of lightning bolts at the opponent.
(Suiton: Kyojin Nami Shougeki) – Water Release: Giant Wave Crash
Rank: A
Type: Offensive , Deffence
Range: Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: The user gathers a large amount of water that can then be used to crash into the opponent. It is strong enough to push back Killer bee in Eight tales form.
Note: Requires a water source
Or something along those lines lol
Good combinations:
Fire and Wind
Water and Wind
Earth and Fire
Fire and Lightning
Yo need to careful when using a water and lightning Combination. If you're streaming water from your mouth, and you combine it with electricity, the electricity will conduct straight into your body and kill you. Also make sure the lightning never comes into contact with any water you're standing on. If you use lightning while standing on a water source, you need to make sure it doesn't touch the water, or that you're not in contact with the water when you fire it, so there's no way it can conduct into your body.
Wind and Lightning is also strange. Using two jutsus in the same direction doesn't really have the same effect as when they're going against each other. The wind might not combine with the lightning depending on the type of wind jutsu you use. And there is also a possibility that they might cancel each other out.
SO the next on the list would be countering/ releasing genjutsu.
Genjutsu works be disrupting the opponent's chakra in the brain and causing him to see anything you want him to see, even his own death.
If a Genjutsu is used on you during a fight, you must first find out that you are a genjutsu in order for the release to be valid. Even if you release it, without proper explanation it will be ruled invalid and you'll lose that fight. The thing you need to do first and foremost, is explain the reason that you know a genjutsu has been cast. And you need to explain these reasons quickly.
Some example would be that your surroundings suddenly changes, or you noticed that you've seen that tree a hundred times now, or that there is no logical way that your opponent could cover that distance in such a short time.
Once you have the deduction down you can release the jutsu, which also should be done fast. This can either be a full body chakra surge, pain, or kai. A chakra surge is any jutsu that recycles/disrupt your chakra in the body, like Chidori Nagashi.
Sincee Genjutsu alters the majority of your senses, it gets harder to distinguish what's real and what's not. Although some genjutsus give the illusion of pain, actual physical pain is almost like an infusion of reality that snaps you out of the realm of illusion. The higher the rank of the Genjutsu, the more pain you'll need to inflict. Stabbing and cutting are ways in which you can inflict pain. You could also break something but that would put you in an even worse predicament.
You can also use other genjutsu techs to release a genjutsu...
Now, how would you deal with this?
I wave my hand and snakes suddenly raise through the ground and proceed to wrap around and crush you
( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.
well my hands would be bound so i wouldn't be able to weave a sign for kai.
two ways are to probably bite off my tongue with the pain to relieve me from the genjutsu or to use nagashi to release a surge of lightning chakra from the body thus recycling my chakra flow.

well knowing well that you aren't a snake user and for snakes to suddenly appear without being introduced by a poof of smoke or summoning jutsu handseals i notice that i am in a binding genjutsu and release myself from it by releasing a surge of lightning chakra from my body thus allowing me to recycle my chakra flow and release from the clutches of the genjutsu
LOL, biting your tounge and lip is a big no, if you ever feel like escaping a genjutsu through pain you should only bite your thumb and then use that blood for a summoning later if you feel like it. Seeing as you're a byakugan user anyway dm you'd always be able to know if you're in a genjutsu by looking at the way your chakra flow. Also if you're not paralyzed you should use Kai which only takes a handseal and works to break up to S rank genjutsu for someone who is a sage such as yourself Dm.xD
However, sometimes there are genjutsu where you can't use kai because you're paralyzed or can't use your hands for one reason or another, that's when you start relying on fullbody surges. These can be either elemental or non-elemental but the point is to speed up your chakra flow so you take back control of it by disrupting the opponents genjutsu.
If someone were to use a genjutsu, an elemental fullbody surge has to be atleast one rank higher than the rank of the genjutsu. A non-elemental fullbody surge has to be 2 ranks above the genjutsu.
Also, you can get a different source of chakra to flow through your body and disrupt the genjutsu, this different source can be a partner whether it's a clone, comrade, dog, insects, living swords(samehada) or bijuu even. CM could also work as a different source of chakra.
Elemental fullbody surges are chidori nagashi, light-bodyweight, earth spear etc.
I don't know much about non-elemental surges but i do know of the hyugas one blow body technique which could help you in releasing from genjutsu of C rank and below. Also the 8 trigrams rotation technique could also dispel genjutsus since you release chakra from every point of your body aswell.
Sry to Anbu Junior, had to stop dm from actually biting his tounge in the future, he'd lose after two turns from bloodloss.
