It was a calm and usual day in Kirigakure. Everyone was out and about, doing their daily ninja duties or gone on missions. Oni, the young Hyuga who had left his respective clans village Konoha sometime ago and was labeled a missing-nin, could be spotted within the village in Lotus position, in a deep meditation. He hadn’t been summoned by the Mizukage all day nor did he have any tasks to fulfil so he took the spare time that he had to relax and reflect back on the past. He was quite bored and wished that he could go out and kill someone, but at the time, committing an act of murder wasn’t necessary. Although he was hard-headed and blood thirsty, Oni respected his Mizukage and would resist his urge to commit acts of malice, although there was nothing else to do.

After meditating, Oni stood up and began to stretch while yawning. He looked up towards the sky and tipped his hat back, viewing the misty atmosphere. Releasing a sigh that indicated that he was bored, Oni then decided to go on a stroll outside of the village to see if any of his fellow villagers might be up for a spar.

He was dressed in his usual gear; an all-black set of a hakama, getas, and a kasa, with a katana and gunbai strapped to his back. His kasa was pulled down, casting a shadow over his byakugan. A smile came over his face, he was eager to battle and he was confident that he would find a villager that would be willing to spar with him. As Oni headed towards the exit of the village, he could hear the whispers and giggles of some of the female shinobi of the village (even tho we have none -_-). Oni was popular amongst the females of the village because of his charming, good looks and his bad-guy personality attracted them to him even more.

Once out of the village, Oni spotted a few kirigakure ninjas training and sparring with each other. This brought a smile to his face as he knew that he would surely be able to find a sparring partner .As he was about to approach his fellow villagers, Oni noticed them all bringing their activities to a halt as they looked off in the same direction. What could’ve got their intention, Oni wondered. Activating his byakugan, Oni made his way through the small crowd. What he spotted once he was in front of the crowd made his blood boil.

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, Hyuga ninjas have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. The user can not only see chakra and the chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu. Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if he's a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot, slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards but enables the user to actually even see his own chakra circulatory system and chakra flow, which explains why all Hyuugas are so adept and masterfull of precise chakra control. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike, as well as chakra. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away. Some Hyugas have shown a great awareness regarding agressiveness as well as killing intent, detecting such intentions and emotions from others with more ease than most.
Note: Activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil

OMFG, why the hell did you call the thread that?! xD

Shayde had received a message from an old friend, Lancer, the Mizukage, asking him to come to Kirigakure as soon as he possibly could. Shayde decided to oblige, but two things hung heavy on Shayde's head. First, what was so urgent that Lancer required his presence specifically, and second, how the hell did Lancer know where to send the invitation, considering Shayde's recent departure from Konohagakure? Was Shayde being kept under surveillance? He decided to put that to one side and focus on his journey. He travelled east through the Land of Fire, doing his best to avoid any and all Border patrols by Konoha Ninja. They were a headache he didn't need at the moment. As he made his way through the Land of Fire, he noted what a beautiful day it was, as peaceful and quiet as ever. But this changed when he eventually came to the Great Naruto Bridge. It was like something from one of those old cartoons he used to watch on Saturday mornings. A cloud of mist hung over the land on the other side of the bridge, giving it a rather sinister appearance. Then again, there was a reason it's called the Village Hidden in the Mist, and this was most likely it. Shayde stopped for a few moments, staring at the scene before him.

"Huh... Only things missing are the words "I've got a bad feeling about this..." and some lightning bolts for dramatic effect."

Shayde laughed to himself a little bit, imagining some menacing looming thunder and lightning clouds before snapping out of it, and continuing in the general direction of the Village. After getting lost and asking for directions, twice, both times being met with suspicion due to the headband visibly shown around his waist, he eventually caught a glimpse of it. Kirigakure. It was not what he was expecting, from years of rumors about "The Bloody Mist" and being told it was a harsh and cruel place, it looked surprisingly normal. Settled amidst a large number of mountainous formations, with plenty of greenery throughout, the buildings were all made from stone and were shaped like domes on their upper half with holes in the top, most with more tree's and plant life on top, probably taking advantage of the frequent rainfall to provide herbs and the like to the Village. And settled in the literal heart of the Villages man-made buildings, with a causeway of sorts between the many building, lay the Mizukage's Mansion. Shayde took a moment to appreciate the view and be glad he made the journey here, if only to enjoy the sight, he then leapt down and made his way to the front gates of the Village, where some kind of training exercise or demonstration was taking place. Had Lancer invited him here to show him the Villages Military regiment, or even recruit him? Shayde never knew, and as he neared the gates, he immediately gathered a large amount of unwanted attention. It seemed a small crowd had began to form out of the previously sparring Ninja. Feeling rightfully worried at the large number of Ninja eyeing him up, Shayde tried his best not to instigate a war. He was still flying the headband of Konohagakure after all, even if just out of sentimentality. He put on his most sincere smile, raised his hand and gave a nervous wave as he introduced himself.

"Uh, hey there... My name, *ahem*, my name's Shayde Uchiha. Lancer, I mean, your Mizukage invited me here for some reason. I don't really know why... I know that sounds like a bullshit excuse, but I swear it's tru..."

Just then, Shayde was cut off. A young man, with the Byakugan of all things, forced his way through the crowd and uttered a single word in a loud and heavy tone.

"You!!"

As soon as Shayde saw him, he saw the look of a man destined for revenge, a sentiment that occurred the moment he laid those all seeing eyes on Shayde. Shayde knew this because it was the very same look members of his clan would give when succumbing to their hatred. Did this man have a beef with Konoha, or the Uchiha clan to be more specific? If the latter was true, it could prove to be problematic considering Shayde had just announced himself for the crowd to hear. Another problem was the fact he was a stranger, practically surrounded by Ninja who would no doubt rush to help their fellow comrade if the Hyuga decided to attack him. Shayde came prepared only to visit Lancer, not take on an entire Village due to a misunderstanding or brawl-turned war. It was obvious that any confrontation would start with this Hyuga, so he was the one he'd have to try and persuade. Stepping forward, Shayde directly spoke to the Hyuga.

"Uh, can I help you with something?"

Looking the man up and down, Oni snarled at the Uchiha as if he were some type of animal. The nerve of this man to ask if he could help out with something. His reaction and puzzled expression indicated that he didn’t remember who Oni was. There was no doubt about it, this was Shayde Uchiha, one of the men who Oni held personally responsible for the murder of his sister. “What was he doing here though?” Oni wondered to himself. Perhaps he had traveled here to join the village or maybe the mizukage, knowing Oni’s story, tricked the Uchiha into coming to the village so Oni could take his revenge. The Uchiha still wore the konohagakure village forehead protector. Something was fishy here and it wasn’t Oni’s underarms. Could Shayde had been sent here by the current hokage to form an alliance? If so Oni would refuse to partake in it. The thought of working alongside this particular Uchiha and a village that allowed this murderer of his own villager to roam free, sickened Oni. Oni looked back at his fellow nin. The look of intensity that he delivered plus the appearance of an activated byakugan brought chills down their spine. Oni lowered his head while letting out a slight maniacal laugh. In his response to the Uchiha’s question, Oni slowly replied:

Can you help me with something? You don’t remember me, you bastard? You…..murderer! What business do you have here!?

Oni picked his head up, making sure to stop his eyes at the chin of this rather tall Uchiha. Oni studied the Uchihas and knew that avoiding eye contact with them was essential if one wanted to survive. He knew the Uchihas were infamous for their visual hypnosis, something a true ninja should be ashamed of in Oni’s opinion. Oni believed that two warriors should test their skill through fist-to-fist combat and not through childish trickery. Although Oni was unaware if Shayde had access to this stage that allowed Uchihas to cast genjutsu through their sharingan, he didn’t want to take the risk of potentially getting caught in one. The Uchiha’s eyes were normal, which made it apparent that he had yet to activate his sharingan. Despite this, Oni did not trust him and kept his eyes low. Through his byakugan he could see the circulatory system of the Uchiha as well as his tenketsus. Shayde was a murderer and Oni planned on giving him no chances of using his Uchiha tricks. Oni muttered out something out to his fellow villagers that stood behind him.

Do not get involved.

The Hyuga with an intent of killing did not really care to hear an answer out of Shayde on why he was here, Oni was more focused on avenging his sister by obliterating this Uchiha. The time for chit-chat was over although it never really began in the first place. The Hyuga stood still while gathering and then releasing his doton chakra into the ground, causing a tremor to occur beneath Shayde. Oni wanted to toy around with the Uchiha to see how strong he was before he really got serious. As the Uchiha would start to lose his footing, Oni would gather more of his doton chakra while performing a single hand seal. With a considerate amount of chakra gathered, Oni would continue his onslaught with more doton techniques. Two arms with hands attached formed from Oni’s doton chakra would then emerge from the ground behind Shayde and grab around each of his legs while pulling back to ensure that he would fall face first into the ground from the tremor and be held in place at the time same. Oni would also briefly close his eyes as Shayde started to near the ground. As Shayde falls from the combination of the tremor and the hands grabbing and pulling him back, Oni quickly withdraws two kunais from his pouch and throws them straight towards the Uchiha which would pierce through his scalp as he is held in place. Now choosing to gather ration chakra, Oni would raise his hand towards the sky, releasing his raiton chakra and sending a electrical discharge into the clouds. He would then command a strikes of lightning to hit Shayde’s upper body if he was still laid on the ground. The strikes of the lightning would damage Shayde and leave him temporarily paralyzed.

Description: The user perform's a total of five handseal's in this order - Ox, Rat, dog, boar, dragon. Shortly afterward depending on what the user want's and how much chakra they put into the technique, one to two arm's (Left & Right) with hand's will come from the ground. Depending on where the user direct's them from coming out of the ground, they can grab the target, or help the user out in a tight situation in a veriaty of different way's.
*Can only be used 3 times per battle.
*Because of the amount of chakra control it takes for this Doton technique, no earth based jutsu can be used in the next move

Oni started to slowly walk towards Shayde with a sadistic smile upon his face. As he got closer, Oni would grab the hilt of his katana and pull it out from the sheathe that was tied around his back.

Shayde stood still, completely stunned at the snarling and looks he was receiving from the Hyuga. And the accusation was especially interesting. Murderer? In what sense? All Shinobi can be called that, as it is one of the many services they provide. Was this accusation a mark against his chosen profession? No, for this man seemed to be in that very same profession, and had probably killed more people than Shayde had. So this was a personal accusation, one directed squarely at Shayde. It had to be. And yet Shayde had never even seen this Hyuga before in his life. So where was this accusation coming from? Shayde was about to inquire further, but the Hyuga spoke, telling his fellow Shinobi not to interfere. So it was going to come to blows then... Shayde prepared himself, assuming a more combat orientated stance, just waiting for the Hyuga to make his move, knowing full well he had the upper hand thanks to his Iron Body.

Description: After years of training in Taijutsu, the user has developed a way of nullifying physical damage. He will focus Chakra through the muscles on his body, hardening them to the level of iron so that even a sword only does a superficial cut on the user. This gives him more resistance while suffering attacks and at the same time, more force. Although with this technique the user can endure a lot of damage, a strong enough technique, such as Tsunade’s and Sakura’s enhanced punches can affect him. This technique is said to be as strong as Kakuzu’s Earth Spear. This technique has some weaknesses, has it only hardens the user's muscles, meaning some parts of the user's body will still be vulnerable, like the tendons behind the knee, ears, etc.

Shayde was fully prepared for some kind of full frontal attack, the Hyuga were famous for their Gentle Fist Style Taijutsu after all, but instead, the Hyuga chose a more indirect approach. As the ground began to shake from the Hyuga's influence, Shayde passively activated his Sharingan. Using the Doujutsu's ability to see the flow of Chakra, Shayde studied his opponent. The Chakra was darker and heavier than neutral Chakra, so Shayde was able to deduce that it was Earth Style Chakra, and that the Jutsu that Oni had created was a basic technique that caused tremors in the ground, the purpose of which was to cause the target to miss seals or a target, or perhaps stumble and fall, depending on how the technique was used. Shayde had already learned this technique in training, and was aware of the risks involved in using projectiles while it was active. Shayde wasn't about to be shown up by some Hyuga, so as Oni continued to gather Chakra for his follow up attack, Shayde used his affinity for basic Ninjutsu and Chakra Control to quickly gather his own Chakra. Shayde intended to trap his target in a powerful Genjutsu created by his Sharingan, but Oni was smarter than to look directly into Shayde's eyes, even if he was unsure what stage of maturity they were at. But the Uchiha did not require eye contact to use all of their Genjutsu, as Oni would soon come to learn...

Description: One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the Kekkei Genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single Tomoe (巴) seal appears around the centre pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the Tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of Chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives colour to Chakra, enabling the user to differentiate Chakra's from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see Chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see Chakra, Sharingan users gain access to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through hand seals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary Chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his Chakra to manipulate the enemy's Chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The Chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.

Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has Chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.
Note: Danzo and Kakashi bios activate the Sharingan by removing the covers in their respective eyes and suffer a +10 Chakra consumption per turn penalty.
Note: The user is bound by the abilities and limits of the stage of Sharingan he possesses, stated in the rules of the KG.

As Oni was weaving his single seal, he expected to see two fists rise out of the ground, and so he did. He expected them to be at Shayde's feet, and so they were. But where Oni gathered Chakra for a pair of earthen fists to rise out of the ground and grab Shayde, this is where reality seemed to vanish, and the illusion Shayde created took hold. A colossal figure, wreathed in shadows, pulled itself out of the very ground behind Shayde. His menacing and dark figure casting a shadow so dark, that the world around Oni seemed to completely be enveloped by it. Oni would be frozen in place, stunned by the figure as it proceeded to grab and crush him. Unable to move, Oni would be crushed in the hands of the figure, as a demonic laugh echoed throughout his mind, taunting him and mocking him. Even though Oni took measures to prevent direct eye contact with Shayde, it was not always a necessity in the Uchiha's Genjutsu, a lesson Oni learned all too late it would seem...

(Doujutsu: Chuubo no Yuuku) – Eye Technique: Paralysing Fear

Description: The user will cast a Genjutsu upon the target in which they will see a shadowy figure appear in front of them bearing the Sharingan and then the figure will grow to an enormous size over shadowing the target in pitch-black darkness. The figure will then grab hold of the target and then will cover them in black threads, leaving them paralysed for a period of time. (This was shown by Sasuke against Shi)

Note: Must have 3 Tomoe to use and paralysing effects last 1 turn.

In reality, Oni would be paralysed where he stood, the visual illusion and the colossal figure's grasp being so vivid and frightening that it put him into a state of shock out of fear, while Shayde would be left to deal with the fists made out of Earth that had grabbed his legs before the illusion could wholly affect Oni. Shayde quickly gathered a medium amount of Chakra in his right hand, which he changed to Lightning Style through vibrating the Chakra at a high frequency. He let this Chakra build up in his right hand until it created a sphere of Lightning Chakra around his hand, at which time, he drove into the ground at his feet. This created a small, but powerful localized electrical explosion that easily destroyed the hands that had grabbed Shayde's legs, and covered Shayde in some minor superficial wounds, his body being otherwise wholly unaffected by the technique.

Description: The user gathers lightning Chakra around his fist, generating a sphere of pure lightning around it. The user can then punch a target, unleashing the lightning in the form of a localized electrical explosion.

As the dust settled from the explosion, Shayde looked back over at Oni, concerned whether or not the effects of his illusion were wearing off. Deciding to play it safe, Shayde gathered more Lightning Style Chakra in his right hand as he quickly dashed at the Hyuga. Shayde used his Sharingan to easily target specific non-lethal points on Oni's body as he made a gesture, waving his hand diagonally from left to right, releasing the gathered Lightning Style Chakra from his hand and quickly shaped it into an innumerable number of needles, which he fired at Oni. These senbon carried the same properties as the Chidori, causing numbness and paralysis upon contact with their target, so if they dug into Oni, they would cause at the numbness at the very least, and paralysis at the most, either one preventing Oni from defending himself from Shayde's follow up attacks.

Description: The user reshapes the Chidori in their hand into the form of countless senbon which are shot with a simple hand movement towards the target. The senbon are extremely precise and have the same numbing and paralysing effects as Chidori, carrying enormous speed. Because the technique requires no hand seals and is done with simple hand movements, its extremely hard to avoid while in short range and quite dangerous to counter due to the precision attacks it can be used to perform.

If unable to break free from the Genjutsu in time to stop the Chidori Senbon, Oni would be completely numb and paralysed in place as Shayde was quickly advancing on him, determined to beat some sense into, and answers out of, the hot-headed Hyuga.
