Battle of intellegence. shikamaru vs itachi

I personally believe shikamaru><itachi. I believe Shikamaru is smarter towards the topic of battle strategies and such. And yes I think he's a better tactician that itachi. But itachi is manipulatively(not a word) intelligent as to where he can make things go out the way he always planned them to, hard to explain. Same for all characters who are noted to be very smart and clever, maybe all towards different things. (Itachi is also a good tactician btw).

Shikamaru is much more intelligent, and I stand by that, but Itachi has more experience and wisdom compared to Shikamaru.
Give him a couple of years, and he'll be the best strategist in the NV.
