Hichigo is his shinigami side fused with his hollow. But his hollow alone is not his shinigami self.

GT is not shinigami technique. GT is Shiba's technique. Only Shiba's were able to use it (Isshin and Ichigo). Kugo was one more character who used it, but if you look more careful, you will see that Kugo never used it prior to absorbing Ichigo's power. Kugo also used bankai directly from what we think is his fullbring, which mean that his fullbringer and zanpakuto are somehow merged, and even though he had his shinigami powers all along, he only used it after he absorbed Ichigo's reiatsu (Ichigo is a Shiba and therefore has Shiba's reiatsu).

hichigo is his shinigami spirit .. hichigo alone. thats the fused form of his shinigami/hollow. what are you talking about? you think we're gonna meet some new shinigami side of ichigo? hichigo IS the shinigami side. its fused with his hollow and thats all there is to it. heck at this point i wouldn't be surprised if ichigo's bankai is now his hollow transformation & a volstandig fusion.

lol the shiba are a noble shinigami clan. guess i should've simplified for you. when i said "shinigami technique" i wasn't talking about in the sense of techniques like kido, shunpo etc. I meant its a technique coming from his shinigami/hollow side as opposed to his quincy side. GT is a technique derived from ichigo's shinigami heritage.

kugo has nothing to do w/ what i was talking about. kugo was able to do ichigo's techniques after taking ichigo's powers. no need to explain that. and he himself used to be a substitute shinigami so if his fullbring/shinigami powers mixed. its not a shock.

clearly you're still misunderstanding, i said it isnt a shinigami technique in the sense of kido and shunpo. so ofcourse not just any shinigami can use it. kugo cant w/o ichigo powers. said its a technique originating from his shinigami heritage.

youve said yourself, getsuga is a shiba technique. ichigo had been shiba "since day 1 of his life". rukia giving him her powers only awakened his own dormant power. maybe if he awakened his fullbring before rukia triggered the activation of his shinigami side his fullbring wouldve been derived solely from his inner hollow but since he awakened it after his powers in fullbring are derived from the mix not just his hollows. even more evidence is that ichigo's fullbring initially takes the form of a shinigami shihakusho. so that speaks for itself. & ichigo lost his powers .. for the most part. urahara said it comes from deep w/n your soul so you could never completely lose it. it was just extremely weak, needed one hell of a jumpstart (that sword).
