Battle getting off-paneled..?

Seems like there is something went on between Madara and Gai, also Kakashi/Gaara and Lee seem exhausted (atleast Kakashi the others were sort of behind):

Side not: İs it safe to say Minato is toast? He was nowhere around and last time we saw him he took good loads of orbs and he was nowhere around last chapter:

i kinda of like what kishi did because we can most likley assume that he just did more night elephants so that would be a waste of panel time showing that again. besides we're about to get a new attack from guy

I don't think Minato is done for just yet. I believe he'll see Naruto again before he's gone for good.

As for the fight, it seems that only part of the fight will be off-paneled. Kishi seems to be hyping another move and it would be so wrong to not show that move (even though he never showed Minato's move). I think we'll see some scans of Gai fighting next chapter with him dying soon. Seems to be on his last leg now :/ I won't make any judgment on the fight being off-paneled yet depending on how much we get next week. Though I didn't think any of Gai's fight would take place off-panel since this is the 8 Gates.

Naruto Will see his father becoming a yellow cheese from cartoon. All the orb holes.

İt was rather disappointing, even though Gai used similar courses of attacks it was 8th gate afterall; would like to see how his forehead protector get broken that much. İ hope we get decent amount next week, as it is his death. Chapter ended with a note about Gai, So 672 must involve him a lot. I like to see how Kakashi and Lee react when they actually lose Gai.

It's a real pity that the fight got off panelled-but not surprising. I knew when naruto's face was shown at the end of 669, that kishi would skip parts of the fight. It's not the first time it's happened, as the manga essentially revolves around naruto(and sasuke to a lesser extent as well.)

Nobody dies off-panel so Minato will sure come back. He is important enough to do or say something significant before he is released.

A large part of Edo Madara VS 5 kages was off panelled. It also seemed like Naruto and co.'s fight against edo Madara before the Juubi was revived was also somewhat off panelled. Fodder fights have also been off panelled like Genma and Raido VS sound four and Tenten VS Temari. Not to mention that most of the fights in the war arc were incomplete as we didn't see some aspects of the fights. Spiral Zetsu were shinobi alliance was also somewhat off panelled.
