Is this a good or a bad idea? They're going all in on this one! The special effects better be next level!

This movie pretty much starts the DC Cinematic Universe. IT HAS to be a success. And I'm sure it will be. You have 2 of the most iconic superheroes on the big screen, it is bound to draw big money.

This does not even surprise me.

Warner Brothers want this to be their flagship movie for the DC universe, and when you consider that Zack Synder is the director it only makes since..

How movies are going straight to Red Box and Netflix or upload online for free nowadays. They better hope its a success.

This movie is going to have to be a mega block buster though. I'm hyped for it, but Man of Steel did have a lukewarm response.

Man of Steel drew about 670 million worldwide, considering the response it got. I can see BvS easily getting to 1 billion. And besides MoS wasn't all bad.
No doubt it made money. I was referring to the responses the movie got. Fanboys were pissed it was too grounded in reality, like Zod having his neck snapped, and critics either loved or hated it.

The neck snapping wasn't the best way to end it, but ehh... I like how BvS addresses the issue of the destruction of Metropolis/people dying etc; and also how Batman neatly fits ( because it was Wayne Enterprises building that Zod destroyed). It definitely has potential, and the trailers look promising, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Make no mistake, I'm hyped!
