[h=1]There are a lot of discussions about Kid, Apoo and Basil and their plan of defeating Shanks. I am a 100% sure that their alliance will succeed. Here is the reason:[/h]Basil Hawkins is the most important part of their plan. As we all know, he has the ability to “see” the future with his cards. Hawkins often speaks like a fortune teller and has been noted to mention reading “signs”. He can use cards to apparently assist him in determining the outcome of any event, as well as the likelihood of his own success. This proves to be very helpful in many situations, as it allows him to determine the outcome of a battle and act accordingly.

His cards allow him to work out to a percentage of the chances of something happening. His predictions seem to be accurate quite often, as he was able to predict that he and his crew as well as the other Supernovas, would not perish at the hands of Kizaru. He also predicted that Luffy would survive his injuries sustained in the war.
THAT is the key.

I really doubt that they would attack Shanks knowing from Basil that the plan would fail. He must have seen in his cards that they will succeed or that the success rate is high. Otherwise, they wouldn’t target Shanks.

I do too but found this theory quite amusing so i thought to share it with you narutobasers .

The top commanders we saw at marineford, lol i dont even think shanks need to bring allies in to take this alliance. His commanders will be enough imo.

i asked this bc what he sees in the cards might not be everything and that might be his awakening devil fruit ability , when he does awaken that is and ofc a lot of more things ^^

I don't think they are strong enough to defeat shanks group yet.
But as we already saw how some situations can be useful in turning a tide(SH & HeartPirates alliance strategy to take down kaido they calculated every minor happening).
so there may be a war in between two younkos and kid's alliance gets a chance to take out them

awakening has got to do with devil fruits, his devil fruit doesnf help him with the cards. His devil fruit is this strange voodoo doll looking thingy

maybe his cards just heighten the persons observation haki. like enel and the electricity.
so weak point is if someone’s haki is stronger or can move that is unreadable they can win.
also shanks and mihawk where known to battle it out for days at a time with swords. as per wb.
think when shanks lost his the marine said mihawk is number one. but maybe shanks still is. this is why i think he trained zoro cause shanks had told him about luffy. so do you think the 3 could beat mihawk if not they dont stand a chance against shanks. think they would feel his haki and get scared. but luffy would feel it and want to challenge it like wb
