my point is he got ms there shouldnt even be a case of her holding back she should had activated her seal soloed shin and went home to cook for my boy and sarada there was no reason for her to hold back even sasuke was using ems, ps, and rinnegan and naruto was using bijuu mode
I would say she wasn't prepared for the fight. Just not prepared.
She doesn't have much of skill when it comes defense, that's for certain. While characters such as Naruto and Sasuke can cloak themselves with chakra(and somehow STILL get stabbed.)Kinda didn't make sense.
I will agree that she wasnt prepared although she does have the skills to beat Shin but fact is she just didnt use them especially when she's at a disadvantage being at the enemies base so i would say she underestimated him
she didn't "underestimate" him, she was teleported and pretty much trapped. Shin underestimated her, if anything...thinking he'd surround her with shin clones and blades as if that was enough to stop her. Sakura was clearly not prepared for the battle.
"she had the skills" yet she didn't beat him...none of them did. The shin clones killed him.
No one was prepared for the battle, it was kinda pathetic...but still worth watching.
I dont think Shin underestimated her at all given the episode we just saw...it actually looked like those eyes on his body actually worked compared to him ambushing Naruto and Sasuke earlier on in the Arc and he was able to pull off some crazy stuff.. now if Sakura wanted to get "prepared" to fight Shin then she wouldnt have rushed in and attack especially not knowing his abilities she wouldve approached with caution but she made a emotional decision and choose to save her family which led to her being captured but i agree it was a surprisingly good episode
In Shin's case, she didn't know anything about his abilities she just knew that he can control scalpels and that's it. She didn't know they were going to paralyse her. She could have summoned katsuyu or used the seal but she didn't see it necessary. If she knew about his ability she would definitely win.
In sasori's case,she was lucky that she had taken those antidotes. Plus it was a 2v1 and they were still at a disadvantage. Sasori was more dangerous because she was younger and weaker. With Shin they were almost evenly matched.
(Side note didn't they make Shin's durability kinda too op here? He almost died from the first punch and now he's being hit with other attacks and not a scratch )
Doesn't change the fact that Sasuke was feeling his movement being restricted.
Anyway Sakura's movement was restricted and thus she was easy to target.
@Bold Sakura Sannin level....
She may have learnt all of Tsunade's techniques but her fighting skills are shit.

Sasori was much more difficult for her.
She was operating on limited antidotes, having to avoid even a scratch, and caring for Chiyo while not having Byakugo or Katsuyu to rely on.
I wouldn't say she caring for Chiyo more like vice versa if anything Chiyo saved her qutie a few times nonetheless it was Sakura's medical prowess is what truly helped her outlast Sasori
