Flaw grabbed Miss Faust's hand and pulled dragged her behind as he fled the room. The wafting scent of roasted Nocturnal was still overwhelming. Flaw ran straight for the hatch leading to the roof, surely the rope ladder would still be up there.

Flaw pushed the hatch open, allowing Miss Faust to climb up first. It seemed Scary Yamato and his group were not pursuing. Flaw emerged on the roof behind Miss Faust, as they ran over to the edge.

Miss Faust was no longer panicking as she helped throw the rope ladder over the edge. As they looked down, the street was filled with Zombies, they're cement truck was overwhelmed.

What could they do now? They could try to get into the cement truck, but they would more than likely be bitten in the act. They couldn't go back inside, Scary Yamato and the others would probably try to eat them next.

"Shit!" Flaw muttered, running out of ideas.

Miss Faust shook her head, "What can we do?"

Flaw grabbed Miss Faust, looking deeply into her eyes, only now did he realize just how beautiful they were. Her eyes stared back, their faces moved closer together. Moist lips parted, and gathered ever closer together.

As they were about to kiss, Scary Yamato interrupted, "Ahem. Dinner? Are you going to join us, or them down there?"

Flaw was enraged, this perfect moment to copulate on the roof of a building surrounded by insatiable zombies was interrupted. Flaw would have been content with a moment longer, but no. Miss Faust turned right as Scary Yamato began speaking, and his lips collided with the side of her head.

"Excuse me!" Miss Faust was angry now, "Just who do you think you are? First you kill and cook our friend and now you insult us further?"

Finally, an idea filled Flaws head. He rushed into Scary Yamato, shoving him towards the edge where he began to lose his balance. Miss Faust caught on to his idea and helped push him the rest of the way.

His body landed with a thud below, drawing the zombies attention away from the cement truck.

Miss Faust quickly began climbing over the wall and down the ladder and opening the truck door. She climbed in as Flaw made his descent as well. Yet by this time the Zombies had noticed them and began turning. Flaw jumped onto the roof of the truck shutting the door.

Miss Faust panicked from inside the vehicle, "What should I do?" She cried out.

"Just drive!" Flaw yelled back to her, as his fingers clenched around a light fixture on the roof.

And drive she did, the cement truck roared to life and rolled forward probably crushing zombie bones underneath.

About twenty yards past the horde of zombies, Flaw was finally able to climb back into the cabin.

Flaw shook his head, "Is it really just us two left now?"

Miss Faust seemed ready to break down again, a tear trickling down her cheek. She mumbled something, but it was too distraught with sobs to comprehend.

At this point, we didn't even know where to go anymore. Despair wore us down, our losses had mounted higher than we could handle. We were broken and desperate.

The sun began to loom on the horizon, darkness would set in soon. They would have to stop somewhere for the night. As if fortune would shine upon them, the only nearby building was a decrepit old house. One that would seem easy enough to barricade.

The cement truck came to a stop outside of it. Flaw made a quick check for the presence of zombies before allowing Miss Faust to disembark.

They slowly approached the house, half expecting a horde of zombies to break out of it. The house though was completely vacant. Devoid of anything living, and unliving. Once inside, they observed their surroundings. Everything was dark, but they were able to spot the windows and blockade them with furniture.

When all was said and done, the only thing they could do was wait. So they embraced one another, collapsing from exhaustion to the floor. They shared one another's body heat, and fell into a deep slumber.

It seemed as though the night would be a short one, the never ending moan of zombies broke the silence.

It was now the seventh day. Sunlight creaked through cracks in the windows. Zombies clawed at walls trying to get at a delectable meal inside.

Flaw and Miss Faust had moved upstairs, barricading the upper floor from the Zombies. They were now trapped and had nowhere to go.

They began exploring their surroundings when flaw found an amateur radio and recorder ready to broadcast.

Flaw flipped a switch, the radio and recorder hummed to life with old electronics still functioning.

"We may or may not be the only ones left, so we're leaving this recording to anybody who finds it. This recording will be our story." The shallow and rasp voice was interrupted by screams in the background.

"Miss Faust!" Flaw rushed over, a zombie had managed to climb through the barricade.

Flaw grabbed an old golf club swinging it at the zombies head.

Miss Faust had been bitten, and tears welled up in her eyes. There was no way Flaw could do anything to harm her anymore, and he grabbed her by the shoulders leaning into her face and kissing her passionately upon her lips without hesitation.

"Just, leave me. Save yourself Flaw." She spoke through sobbing heaves.

Flaw shook his head. He really had nowhere to go and was tired of running. He would deal with her when the time came. He returned to the radio.

"I apologize. As I was saying, this is our story of survival. It all began one night at the NB Con, the NarutoBase Convention."

Interuption no jutsu FTW! xd

Great story man. I'm glad you made it.
Thank you. I kind of didn't want to end it so soon, but my mind has been swarming with ideas, and I was losing interest in this story and wanted to start ten others. I figured instead of just discontinuing it, like I did with "I do it all for the Glory," I could give my readers a real ending.
