My first authors note this series. I've decided to include some guests stars in this chapter. Enjoy!
The massive tower of the radio station loomed ahead. Flaw tried to press the accelerator further down, yet the metal floor resisted. His heart beat hard in his chest, they were going to make it.

The grill of the large cement truck impacted the metal fence. The wire fence crushed inwards, strands twisting about before giving into the bulk of a cement truck. The gate busted in.

"We did it, we made it!" Flaw shouted with excitement at their accomplishment.

Miss Faust shook her head, "But, you broke the gate. Weren't we supposed to use that to keep the zombies out?"

Flaw's eyes suddenly widened. She was right! Why hadn't he just gotten out and opened the gate? He thought about it for a good moment before coming to a decision.

"I had intended to do that. I was going to use this giant cement truck to block the gate." Flaw grinned at his great plan.

"Yeah, but couldn't they just crawl under the truck?" Miss Faust rebutted.

"You couldn't just leave well enough alone, could you?" Flaw frowned.

"I could have, if your plan didn't suck." Miss Faust seemed annoyed.

"Hey, I got us in here. You sure didn't have a plan to get us in here." Flaw argued back.

"Oh sure, it was a chain link fence, we couldn't have just climbed over it. Oh, better yet, we couldn't have just opened the unlocked gate!" She started to scream at Flaw.

"Well, I'm sure we can find stuff inside to barricade the gate." Flaw finished, but he noticed Miss Faust wasn't responding.

Something caught Flaw's eye as well. There were people inside, and they had guns! Flaw was about to rejoice when he noticed the guns were pointed at them.

A voice came through a loud speaker attached to the outside of the building. "Please leave, we don't want to have to kill you. We don't have enough supplies for more people, and we can't trust you. Just leave."

Flaw could feel his pulse speed up. Were these people seriously turning them away?

At this point, we had nearly lost all hope. Where could we go from here?

Flaw wanted to shout back, but they wouldn't hear him. Instead, he through the shifter into reverse. The cement truck seemed to resist it, as if it too wanted to stay.

"What are you doing? Do you honestly think they would shoot us?" Miss Faust yelled at Flaw.

"I don't want to find out." Nocturnal mumbled, barely awake in his weakened state.

Flaw didn't even speak, he just continued to drive. The cement truck soon lurched forward and began rolling away from their safe haven. The sun beamed high overhead, it must have been noon.

Miss Faust became impatient with Flaw's silent, and flipped the radio on.

"This is an automated emergency radio broadcast. I repeat, this is an automated emergency radio broadcast. There is an unknown threat in your area, please vacate to the nearest military post available."

Flaw stared at the speaker for a moment before speaking, "Should we? It might not turn out any better."

Miss Faust pondered for a moment, before her eyes widened, "Survivors, please save us."

"Yes we are, yes we are." Flaw reminisced their current situation.

"No, idiot, the sign on that building!" She pointed.

Flaw ignored her insult, and instead started steering towards the building. It appeared to be some old brick brewery with heavy wooden doors. The windows sat up high, which would make it difficult for would be drunks to break in and fall into a vat and drown while trying to get free beer. They also had bars over them, which seemed nice.

As the cement truck drew near, they could see people waving at them from the windows. Somebody from the roof dropped a rope ladder, which would reached low enough for them to climb onto from the cab.

One by one, they ascended the ladder, a wide eyed man on the roof helping them up. As they gathered around the other survivors, they all seemed to rejoice.

"Welcome to our safe haven, I am Scary Yamato. That man there is Zero Kelvin, and the other one is Mercy." The man, Scary Yamato introduced himself.

"Well, I'm Flaw, that's Miss Faust, and the one armed gimp there is Nocturnal. Please tell me you have food? Are there others?" Flaw spoke then interrogated their possible savior.

"We have food, and there are others. They're in the kitchen as we speak. But we wont be eating until tomorrow. We have to preserve our food, I hope you understand." Scary Yamato seemed to be the only one speaking.

At the mention of food though, Zero Kelvin, and Mercy seemed to begin drooling. Apparently the people in the kitchen knew how to cook some food.

"I'll prepare you some places to rest and sleep for a bit. And for your one armed friend, Nocturnal was it? We have some medicine and a surgeon in the kitchen. Zero Kelvin and Mercy will help him there." Scary Yamato seemed to be the leader of their survival pack, and very organized.

"But why the kitchen?" Miss Faust questioned.

Scary Yamato seemed confused for a moment before responding, "Well, it's the most sanitary room in the place. We have to keep it clean, lest we get sick from eating bad food."

Miss Faust nodded in agreement. She didn't really care though, the idea of resting was far too persuasive.

Scary Yamato gave them a sign to follow, so they did. Zero Kelvin and Mercy meanwhile helped Nocturnal walk in the other direction. As Scary Yamato opened a hatch leading into the brewery, there was a distinct smell of beer. The air was cool and crisp too, it felt very refreshing.

As they descended into the brewery, the cool air became even more intense. They still didn't have electricity, so the climate must have been produced by the building design. That would always be a plus.

As they reached a room, it appeared to be a lounge. The furniture in it looked lush and comfortable too. It didn't take long for Flaw and Miss Faust to fall asleep.

It was the first rest we had for a while, I wish we could have enjoyed it more.

The next morning,

The smell of cooking meat was overwhelming. Flaw's nose twitched just before he took a deep whiff of it. His eyes shot open as he looked over to Miss Faust who was already getting ready.

"Food!" Flaw shouted, as he rubbed his stomach expectantly.

"I know, let's hurry!" Miss Faust was practically shouting.

As they were about to wander out of the room, Scary Yamato appeared. "I see you two already know the food is ready. Nocturnal is there already, I suggest you too hurry."

Scary Yamato lead them out of the room. It was less than a minute before they were in a room with a large table, bar stools spaced evenly around it. There were plates with steaming roasts of fresh meat. Zero Kelvin, and Mercy sat impatiently ready to eat.

"I thought you said Nocturnal was here?" Flaw looked around curiously.

"Oh, he is." Scary Yamato replied while pointing at the plate. "He took a while getting ready for dinner."

Flaw suddenly seemed confused, looking at Miss Faust then back to Scary Yamato. "You cooked him?"

Scary Yamato let out a sinister laugh. "Oh no, Zero Kelvin and Mercy cooked him. I just supervised."

"Hey Flaw." Miss Faust was looking shocked and appalled at the sight before them.

Flaw shook his head, tempted to eat, but knowing there was no possible way Flaw could eat Nocturnal. Flaw grabbed Miss Faust's hand and he ran off dragging her behind him.

"Oh, you're leaving so soon? But you haven't had a bite to eat yet!" Scary Yamato shouted at them.

"I can't believe they're cannibals, what the hell is happening to our world?" Miss Faust nearly choked, fighting back tears.

"It doesn't matter, we're getting the hell out of here. To hell with them!" Flaw shouted.

LOL nice chapter. sucks that I turned out to be a cannibal but at least I made it in the story. ^_^
I figured it would make you a total bad ass!

Lol; nice one!
Greg's purpose was short though ._.
Greg was the third longest lived character of the main cast.

Also, I have another Fan Fiction with Zerabitu coauthoring. "Can you Triforce?" And I am currently working on my next chapter of Base of the Living Dead. It'll be up later today.
