Intel:Jiraiya knows Sasori is an akatsuki, along with being a renowned Puppet & Posion Expert. He has 1 cure anything Antidote in case he gets scratched. Sasori knows he's the legendary toad sage. He also Starts in Hiruko but can ditch it ASAP if necessary.

Distance: 20 meters
Mindset: Sasori is bloodlusted, Jiraiya is IC & needs to capture Sasori.
Restrictions:Gama trio & SM
And am also wondering if Gama Rinsho should be restricted. Thoughts?

While Satetsu can challenge Base Jiraiya easily, it's mainly Jiraiya's proficiency with Katon along with Gamabunta's Support that allows him to take this. Sasori is likely a great aerial fighter, but Gamabunta's ability to transverse large distances and his Boss-Sized Toad Oil Katon (while drugged) allows Base Jiraiya to secure the win.

In a scenario like this however, when Sasori is bloodlusted whereas Jiraiya's fighting to capture, Sasori could take this, but it's a high-diff fight either way.

Base Jiraiya struggled evading Konan's attacks that were just being shot in a linear fashion straight into the ground. Base Jiraiya isn't that fast and both Base Jiraiya and Sasori are within the 4.5 speed tier anyways.

I would love to see the initial hiruko vs ranjishishigami exchanges. this is a nice match up in terms of variety & tactical counters

In that case, Sasori has a good chance of winning as Jiraiya doesn't have the speed to evade Iron Sand and his Katon aren't large enough to even counter Sasori's advanced manipulation of Iron Sand or the Scale of his technique for that manner, not to mention outlasting isn't going to happen when Sasori also has a 5 in Stamina.

Jiraiya takes this Match high difficulty imo. Will make an argument once I wake up (been up waaaay too long)

Also I think it's safe to say that Jiraiya has more Chakra & Stamina then Sasori. But Sasori does possess a really good amount As well along with a Puppet body. So he should have infinite stamina like a robot. (Terminators anyone?)

Well this Jiraiya is hella restricted seeing how not only is his intent to capture while Sasori's is to kill, but his boss toads are restricted. However Jiraiya can still win this but it will be a high difficulty fight.

I'm not even going to address Hiruko since it can be easily crushed with Art of the Raging Lion's Mane. Jman will erect his sensing barrier as to prevent himself from getting blindsided. Now, iron sand will be the main threat here but Needle Jizo or other hair techniques will tank iron sand bullets, iron sand world order, or other small-scaled IS attacks. If Sasori uses that spear and hammer iron sand method, Jiraiya can evade its attacks with shunshin as EP2 Sakura was capable of doing. An overlooked shunshin feat of Jiraiya is that he was able to shunshin into the middle of a hotel hallway from seemingly out of nowhere and summon a toad which blocked Kisame's Samehada swing mid-Strike meaning Jiraiya can cross great distances before Kisame can even swing his sword, therefore he should have no trouble doing this. Iron sand should also logically be weak to oil and cause it to dissolve just like Gengetsu's oil did to Gaara's sand. Inb4 that was water oil, water and oil can't mix, so Jiraiya can spray the iron sand blocks with multiple oil attacks and they will eventually crumble away. 100 puppets are taken care of easily through a combination of hair techniques, katon, and Toad Mouth Bind. Eventually all that will be left is the OG Sasori which Jiraiya will grapple with his hair and drag into his barrier toad like he did with Animal Path. Once inside the barrier, Sasori will be restrained by a wall of flesh and Jiraiya will turn him into a toad, thus capturing him.

Hiruko will be an obstacle for Jiraiya to crush as it is given his 4.5 speed and good reaction speed. Sandaime Kazekage will simply smash him.

-Jiraiya will have trouble focusing on using his hair while Needle Senbons are being thrown around. Sasori has a 4.5 in speed and has shown good perceptive and reaction speed.

-IS is too much for Jiraiya with intent to capture lmao. Jiraiya ends up dying if he thinks he can capture Sasori with no counter attack. Sasori uses 99 puppets and has his Sandaime Kazekage puppet next to him. While the 99 puppets overwhelm Jiraiya Sandaime shoots IS which can one shot him due to his lack of vision on them.

-1000 arms are a DEADLY prospect when combined with 99 puppets from behind Jiraiya. There will be literally nowhere for him to run and he'll be caught within the poison clouds and kunai barrages while trapped within the remotely controlled 1000 arms.

Its a sensing barrier, Sasori has no need to blindside him as his attacks can outright blitz him, its a waste of chakra.

Lmfaooo where are you getting these hair strengths feats? He gets blasted if that is the only defense you've got.

Chiyo still had to save her on occasion as she couldn't react, Jiraiya doesn't have the combined efforts of two peoples reactions.

Bullshit as Shinobi have down the same to much faster opponents and larger distances despite them being slower Ex: Kakashi intercepting Sasuke, Naruto intercepting Sasuke, Haku intercepting Kakashi and many more :lol It has more to do with the element of surprise than speed. Jiraiya's speed feats are slim to none bar that one sketchy feat. He's not a shinobi that utilizes speed until he goes into SM anyways.

Except Sasori's sand is being held together by a much stronger magnetic force...as its directly metal so even if oil did for some reason affect a completely different substance than gaara's sand the force would hold them together regardless so nothing would fall apart. The oil can't change the metals composition.
