Hello, I was reading some forums the other day and I uncovered a a bit of kiba hate. Basically everyone agreed that he was a jerk because he always puts people down and when he himself isn't that strong (usually towards Naruto). So I thought i'd ask everyones opinion because i've never noticed it before. So lets look at it this way -
Jerkyness (i dont think that's a word but :shrug
- often criticises others abilities, when he basically spams one technique
- is prone to getting angry in battle and making mistakes
- Teases Hinata about naruto
- Was mean to Ino (she was crying) when konoha issued Sasuke as a rogue ninja
Niceties
- Is one of Naruto's closest friends, has been since they were very young. Naruto, chouji, Shika and kiba used to sneek out of class together.
- Cares deeply for Hinata and her safety
- Was visibly irritated when Sakura played with Naruto's emotions by saying she loved him, also questioned her about it.
- Works well with all ninja his age group from what i've seen
So based on this I dont think he is a jerk, and to think this means you haven't understood how kishi portrays his character. Yes he is kind of mean at times, but I think that he just has a weird way of showing his affection towards people (most likely because of his up bringing, i.e. no dad= no male role model and a angry mountain lady for a mum).
I will admit that this is kinda pure fanboyism, but hey why not. So what do you reckon?
