[Discussion] Bartolomeo vs Luffy

I know all of you are going to laugh at this match up. But, Bartolomeo tanked the King's Punch like it was nothing, that punch could take down a yonko with a direct hit and can destroy a massive fortress without any issues. There's nothing in Luffy's arsenal that comes close to the King's punch. So perhaps it's possible Bartolomeo can just block everything and smack Luffy around using his shields...

He does not have to go at it straight. He is fast enough to go around the barrier. So luffy low diffs bart with his speed and Kenbushoku haki.

last chapter hakuba (as fast as luffy ) didnt do that so i dont think it`s possible

Dude >_> Hakuba is an animal with no mind but just wants to kill. Luffy on the other hand can think of a way, around. Just like Bellamy caught hold of Bartolomeo before being blown away by the kings punch.

bellamy didnt turn around he caught bart before he activate his barrier so it dsnt matter plus he can form a cube of barrier (that what i thought he used against hakuba) with his power it`s not like he can just creat one barrier he can create many and even shape them as he wants

edit: actually he did it not a cube but he shaped his barrier like a ball, of course he did it to contain gladius`s explosion but it can work the other way around

Barto didn't tank Kings punch he blocked it, a jet pistol to the face wld wreck him n if Bellamy cld find a way to bypass the barrier momentarily then Luffy who is much faster than Bellamy(then) wont have much trouble.

There is no telling what an elephant Gatling wld do to a bari bari dome that if it doesn't get pushed back a mile(manner of speaking) with each hit.

Kings punch is not taking out a Yonko, that's just hype. Luffy wins, not sure about the difficulty, just going to say mid-high with current feats. So far nothing has destroyed that barrier.

Um I don't think so, maybe one of Bellamys punches that contained Haki. But other than that no. And I'm not sure he put Haki into that punch either. It hasn't been tested to its full extent yet.

Kings punch took out a fort and can hurt a yonkou if at the right spot standing still.

That's like all of Luffy's punches right there.

Third gear broke the lobby during the fight with Lucci.

He also punched the legendary Garp while he was standing still.

And Luffy's punched Blackbeard before, sending him flying in pain.

With that said, luffy takes Bart's barriers with brute force

Luffy isnt breaking the Bartolomeo's Barrier's, as they are currently portrayed as being unbreakable and nothing has been able to crush them yet. Even with Second Gear it doesnt mean much as Bartolomeo can place a 360 barrier around himself,

But at the same time, Bartolomeo has nothing strong enough in his arsenal to take luffy down. Barrier crash isnt hurting a rubber man, so this can only end in 1 of 3 ways:

1. They just call it a tie
2. Bartolomeo traps luffy in a barrier ball (bart being on the outside) and rolls luffy to the ocean and drops him in.
3. Luffy waits for bartolomeo to get exhausted from protecting himself or containing luffy and then when barriers go down he strike.

But this wont be low diff for anyone.
