he may look like evil and mischievous but he hasn't done anything bad.

I know he nearly killed a vice admiral but he just returned the favor for what he the vice admiral did to his comrade.

Then again, next thing we have seen that he was very disrespectful towards the Colosseum audience and was known for killing innocent people .

But again, what he threw to them wasn't a bomb but merely a dud to scare away them.

In starting, we thought nami was also a bad person because she stole away all the money from luffy even when they protected her. Then we came to know she was just trying to "buy" her island back.
The same goes for robin,franky etc...

Luffy has a 400,000,000 bounty and people think he have a huge body, clearly nothing much is known to normal fodders.

Bartolomeo has the bera bera no mi, which is barriers...
Barriers are meant to protect and defend, right?

Again, bartolomeo actually protected people from that king's punch(and prevented the Colosseum from getting destroyed) even though most of them ran on the other side.

There's a theory going around that Bartolomeo is actually trying to get the Mera Mera fruit for Luffy. He heard that the Luffy resurfaced and was someone who respected Ace a lot or was 'according to the rumour' part of the Spade pirates before it was integrated into whitebeards crew.

So Bartolomeo is just a misunderstood person who thinks that no one but Luffy should be able to decide what happens to Ace's fruit.hmm

Manga stated word-to-mouth. Tell-tales of subordinates of the King who sang his victories, severely exagerating his abilities. When the actual facts came, as in, when the punch was shown, it was clearly focused on the arena, and not the seats, and most certainly not the whole colosseum. it's not that the public did not feel the punch, I'm not saying that. It's just that the destructive power of the punch did not reach there.
