Looks:
Kuma is an enormous man(nearing 4 meters tall) who is usually seen carrying a Bible. His overall appearance resembles that of a bear, though there are a few key differences. His eyes are strangely covered by either a pair of glasses or clear-mirrored lenses. While initially he will give the impression of wearing glasses, it seems that those are actually his own eyes. His hat features a pair of rounded ears, and, along with the fabric of his pants, is covered in brown spots. His jacket contains a large white design reminiscent of a target crosshair or a coda (musical term). There are also several paw prints lining the bottom hem of his coat. He also has a long protruding chin.
Personality:
Despite his imposing figure and his past reputation, Bartholomew Kuma is a very calm and quiet person. In addition to his demeanor, he can also be seen as somewhat of a benevolent character, especially compared to the other Rogue ninja. When talking, Kuma customarily uses the word "target" in his sentences. He also tends to ask a person where they would like to go on a trip before he sends them away with his paw's power.

Background Info.
History:
After completing basic training and mastering his paw's abilities Kuma set out for an adventure, with a close friend the great SHIGURE.(happy now shiggy?)
The 2 had great adventures one such when they met shiggy's old friend emperor, apparently emperor was an experiment of the mad scientist Roku and shig had stolen him but abandoned him so emp wanted to kill shig. Kuma then farted and for no apparent reason emp decided to forgive shiggy and join the group.
The pwnsome threesome had many adventures killing (and eating) many peoples. Eventually the three broke up for a little while and magically kuma learned sage mode, eight inner gates, fuuin jutsu, and a bunch of other stuff. He also received the sword of hellfire from his old friend portgas D ace
When the swordsmen left kirigakure, although he didn't have one of the 7 swords, kuma joined them and is one of the members of the swordsmen.
Other
Despite his size Kuma can move at extremely fast speeds. Able to keep up with very fast ninja.
Because Kuma is so big it is quite obvious that he has extreme strength.
Through great training in taijutsu Kuma has obtained great reaction speed.
Fire Affinity -
Kuma is highly skilled with the element of fire. So skilled in fact that all his fire jutsu move far faster than then the average fire jutsu. For example if Kuma were to spit a fireball it would move to the target much faster then a normal fireball. Furthermore Kuma can preform fire jutsu so fast and consecutively that it appears as if he is firing multiple fire jutsu at once.
Chakra Control -
Being a sage Kuma's chakra control is on a whole other level. He can perform jutsu at extreme speeds one after the other. Even if they are of opposite elements.
Hand Signs -
Being a sage Kuma's hand signs are extremely fast. So fast in fact that only 3 tomo sharingan can predict them.
