So we all know that, Kuma gave up his life and to the WG/Marines.
Not sure why but I want to speak of something else.
I think that, Kuma was a really religious guy and before he became a part of the revolutionary army he fought around the world for world peace or something like that. Fought the WG on his own to bring down their dark justice. Because of the things he did and him being a part of the revolutionary army earned him the nick name "Tyrant".
Somehow while in the revolutionary army he and Dragon and most likely, Evankov as well did some archaeology together learning of the void century. They must have knew some things about the void century such as who would bring down the WG. The reason the Revolutionary Army hasn't made their move yet is because they know who will bring the WG down and they will wait until that time and begin their war with that person to take them down once and for all. When, Kuma and Dragon found out that it is, Luffy through some fact of the will of D.
Kuma, told Dragon he going rescue them at, Sabaody since they were in a bad situation that would get them killed for sure. And so he did. He risked his position to save them. He wanted to make sure that they set sail with their ship and so he asked, Vegapunk to program that last mission in so he would protect it. He probably has more things programmed as well. Not sure but we will see. He may have also been serving as a spy for the revolutionary army.
The time when he went to them on thriller bark he wasn't really going to kill them. He was testing them all to see if they were really the ones who would bring down the WG and the four emperors. He saw how, Luffys two strong crew members Sanji And Zoro tried to sacrifice themselves to save, Luffy's life and he decided to give them a way to live. He had no intention of taking, Luffy either way. He was told to help, Moria but even though he saw, Luffy and the others defeating him, he stood by and did nothing. The WG probably did tell him to help moria out but he did it to protect, Luffy and the others.
We all know we're in for a big show in One Piece. So many mysteries. Good stuff.
Anyways, what do you guys think of this?
