Its like Reputation, people can rep your posts or threads, the more rep the more bars, they can decrease with neg rep aswell, but i dont know the exact numbers, its not like one rep gives you one bar.

You mean the green boxes right? They are called as reputation bar, they indicate reputation point.

Its a way of showing how popular you are basically . THe more the green bars, the more popular the person is. Also, if you put the mouse over the green bar. It says something different for everyone :p

In the left corner under your notes:" Women are meant to be loved and not to be understand" there is a star which says add to this user's reputation > then you approve or disapprove. That's how you + rep or - rep.

The green bars are rep bars. Refer here for more:
The bar under your avatar, i.e. Chuunin/Sannin etc are based on your post count.
50 posts- Genin
200 posts- Chuunin
550 posts- S-Jounin
1050 posts - Jounin
2300 posts - S- Class
4200 posts - Sannin<
8000 posts- Kage
10000 posts- Sage
30000 posts - Grim

It's reputation indicator... More bars more reputed member.

Not in my case though, I'm as unknown on NB as I was before joining...:shy:

Hover of mine and see what it says ;)

OT: REPUTATION, is the source of popularity. If someone has lots of reputation, their threads are considered to be good whereas if th rep bars are too less, then not that many people will post in that thread.

You all know its true. Narutobase members!! :(

You can also check the amount of rep you have in user cp btw, you can see the most recent rep comments you give people and the rep you give to others.

The amount of reputation a member has doesn't really measure popularity. It just shows the amount of times the user has been reputed.
tremendous thanx for additional info
Check the Frequently Asked Questions link posted above if you wish to know anything else before creating a thread. Also, watch out for multi-posts, they aren't allowed. Cheers.
