This is the first time I've done this, so bear with me.
Basic Information
Name: Van Hohenheim
Nickname: The Messenger

Looks: Hohenheim face is depicted as above. He wears glasses and has blonde hair. He stands at 6'-0" and weighs 200 lbs. He body is muscular but not overly bulky. Most of the time Hohenheim is formally dressed in a brown suit with a black vest, white buttoned shirt, and a tie. He uses this appearance because it is suitable for his job. Hohenheim used the glasses for reading, but otherwise can he can see fine without them. In truth, Hohenheim is not a fan of this look and when he is not working he can found in a t-shirt and shorts.
Personality:
For his age, Hohenheim has a very composed and mature attitude. He rarely shows enough emotions to be depicted as happy or sad. In most instances Hohenheim displays emotions he finds suitable for a given situation. Not having much human interaction, Hohenheim is very forward in his speech and actions and will not hesitate to say what's on his mind. This can be good and bad at times. Their are times when Hohenheim is seen as an outcast as his hobbies tend to be considered old fashioned by his generation.
Hohenheim is very well versed in history and the ways of the land. This is due to his upbringing and his job. His knowledge has shaped his personality and beliefs about villages and shinobi alliances. Hohenheim thinks that the village system that is currently implemented needs drastic modifications. While Hohenheim trusts the intentions of villages like Konohagakure and Sunagakure, he believes they have too much power. Ultimately, Hohenheim would like to see all the villages on equal footing. Hohenheim realizes that this is idealistic, but it doesn't change his point of view. Though Hohenheim knows a lot about history he has not experienced much in his lifetime which leads to him being somewhat naive.
Hohenheim doesn't fight battles unless provoked or if he is training. In battle when Hohenheim is serious he is fast and ruthless. One thing that Hohenheim has learned through out his studies is that many shinobi fall prey to their egos and carelessness. While a lot of shinobi enjoy the thrill of extended battle and torment of their opponent, Hohenheim seeks to end the battle as fast as possible and not lose focus if possible. As such Hohenheim never taunts people and has a tenancy to sometimes overestimate peoples abilities.
In his spare time Hohenheim studies history and plays piano. Hohenheim is very proficient in the piano and is also a master of several languages both written and spoken. His habit of playing the piano has lead to Hohenheim fiddling with his fingers in public. Hohenheim is a true romantic that hopes to one day have a family. Most women would probably Hohenheim's devotion to a partner as stalker like. This has caused some problems in the past.

Background Info
History: Hohenheim's parents are both Uchiha. During the Uchiha massacure, it was thought that all the Uchiha had been killed by Itachi. In truth one couple (Hohenheim's parents) were ambushed in their home by Obito and swept into the Kamui dimension. It is still unclear while Obito picked this couple to kidnap, but this was the only action Obito took during that night. Hohenheim's parents spent many years in that dimension living on the few scraps of food and animals Obito absorbed with Kamui. Sometime before the start of the forth great war the couple managed to escape the dimension only to end up transported to Mount Myoboku. The couple landed in a lake with no idea where they were. After the couple swam out of the lake they were attacked by a giant red snake. Weak and tired the couple could not defend themselves and had all but given up hope. At this moment a giant rabbit half black and white grabbed the couple with its teeth and quickly escaped into the surrounding forest. After the initial shock fades away, the rabbit introduces herself as Inosento Utsukushī (Beautiful Innocent). The rabbit then explains where they are and wonders how they ended up in the lake. After living in the forest for a month the parents decide that it is a paradise and they are happy. Thus they make an alliance (summoning contract) with the rabbits and decide to never leave Mount Myoboku.
A year later Hohenheim is born in the forest. Hohenheim was named after a hero from a fairy tail told by the rabbits. As such Hohenheim's name is very different from most of the shiniobi world. Hohenheim grows up on Mount Myoboku with the rabbits. On Mount Myoboku there are animal alliances just as in the shinobi world and Hohenheim is aware of this. As such Hohenheim made it a point to interact with many animals on Mount Myoboku some of which include toads, slugs, and Tortoises among others. Growing up Hohenheim learned to fight from his parents. The rabbits are among the most knowledge creatures of the world as it helps them to survive. Hohenheim was taught by the rabbits and obtained a vast wealth of knowledge. Being that the mountain is peaceful most of the time, Hohenheim's fighting skills are not as developed as they should be for his age. He is 24 yet has the skills of a genin. His instincts however, are second to few humans. Growing up Hohenheim helped the rabbits gather food and supplies. His other job was to guide humans who came to Mount Myoboku unintentionally. When Hohenheim was 20 it was decided by his parents that it would be good for him to see the world. As such the rabbits gave him a job as a keen to a postal man. For many years many of the animals on Mount Myoboku have had business with humans, and so it became Hohenheim's jobs to act as an intermediate for the animals.
Hohenheim has been doing this for 4 years. His summon contract is with the rabbits. Before he left the mountain Inosento Utsukushī bestowed upon Hohenheim one of her children. The young male rabbit named Sobokuna (Naive) accompanies Hohenheim on his travels. The rabbit is 4'-0" and half black and white like his mother. Sobokuna has no special powers or fighting ability for the time being. Just as Hohenheim will grow on his travels, hopefully so will Sobokuna.
It is unknown to Hohenheim how his parents escaped Kamui, but Hohenheim's parent might have had a space-time mangekyou sharingan. At this point that is speculation and Hohenheim doesn't know his sharingan powers. Hohenheim doesn't talk about being an Uchiha, because he is 24 and has yet to unlock his sharingan. This is unheard of in the history of the Uchiha.

Surprisingly, music in Mount Myoboku has been heavily influenced by many parts of the shinobi world. As such Hohenheim grew up learning a wide range of music, and this is where his love for playing the piano comes from.
