Because of his awesomeness he favors tailored cloaks with nicely matching shirts and pants, but will dress for whatever the occasion allows, and always with what he considers the pinnacle of style. Upon finishing his business with the Akatsuki, he replaced the official cloak with a specially tailored cloak that resembles the Akatsuki cloak but has a blue lining which fits his elemental affinity towards water.
Personality: His early life wasn't easy and as a kid he wasn't able to cope with the burden of the stuff he has been through. He never met his mother and he witnessed his fathers death which left deep scars on his personality. He fell under the influence of his feelings and he let them carry him over to the dark side. A good part of his life he didn't know of anything other than hatred towards the world, because he blamed everyone for the death of his family. Just one person was able to get to him, recognize the good in him and at least try to get him to his senses, Scorps. As time passed he managed to control himself, let everything go and become a ninja of highest skill. He turned out to be a selfless, calm, caring and collected person, although from time to time his dark inner self likes to come out and express itself in horrendous ways.

Barney was born in a small, snowy village in the Land of Water, a land that had suffered from war not long before. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the horrific battles still lingered in the minds of the people. Those with kekkei genkai quickly became feared and hated for their abilities, out of concern that their existence would only bring about more war.

Water Master
As one of the previous wielders of the Water Goddess and a true lover of water techniques, Barney could perform them with a single handseal. Although by losing the sword to his sensei Scorps, he lost the ability to create them from thin air and without handseals, he was still able to perform them with great ease. Living the dream of Izuna Uchiha, he strives to become the new Water Sage and show the world that he's the greatest water user.
Sound Master
Having undergone harsh training with Xylon, Barney is fully capable of using the sound element. Due to the blindfolded training he did to optimize his skill in this to the maximum, he is able to hear things more clearly despite the pressure of battle. By being an avid sound user he also developed the Sound Propulsion CFS by combining his sound and genjutsu mastery. Using the propulsions he is able to perform swift movements with minute precision while also being able to fool his opponents while doing so.
Genjutsu Master & Surrealist
As the personal student of the best Genjutsu users alive, Scorps and Lili-Chwan, Barney inherited all the custom techniques and was trained to the point of being able to call himself also a Genjutsu Master. By being trained by Lili-Chwan, Barney had the chance to feel the dark side of Genjutsu. The torturing and mind controlling nature of those techniques synchronized perfectly with his dark inner self.
As a master of Surreal Palm, he is capable of awareness 1 rank superior than his normal rank, and, same wise, bypass the genjutsu layering rules up to 4 times per battle, allowing him to use techniques 1 rank lower than normal to defend from a genjutsu.
Taijutsu Specialist
After undergoing a hard regime under Gobi Gobletsson he finally got the chance to met the one and only, Nirvāna. After receiving his permission to continue the hard training and further specialize in taijutsu, he found Lord of Kaos, who gladly took him as his apprentice. After a long and tough training he finally became able to call himself a taijutsu specialist.
Fuuinjutsu Master
After completing his Fuuinjutsu training and having the knowledge passed down by various teachers, Barney felt the urge to always carry an assortment of empty and pre-made scrolls with him as well as medical scrolls and seals. After learning this valuable skill and thanks to his medical training, he started turning his own body into a parchment of paper that held all kinds of seals and formulas that would aid him in battle. He has the Seal of the Water God on his body and he placed the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique onto his chest. He also placed the Crane Summoning tattoo onto his left wrist and the Seahorse Summoning tattoo on his right wrist and he made sure that all of his summons have The Servant seal. Seahorses are Barney's personal and primary summons and he specialized summoning them because he practiced the handseals and blood sacrifice movement and brought it to the level of mastery. He uses the tattoos to perform the blood sacrifice easier. To top the list off, he placed the Solitude of the Exile seals into his ears for added protection and battle survivability, the Self Disruption Seal on the back of his hand and the Imperial Guard onto his upper arm.

Description: This technique is a seal that's printed usually on the back of the user's hand, with the mark of "Disruption" in a large Kanji letter, this is a special seal that has only one purpose, which is to alert the user of foreign chakra in which it enters the user's body, which is basically what activates the seal's ability, This seal has some of the user's own chakra and is connected directly to the user's chakra circularity system, therefore when a foreign chakra enters the user's body, the user's chakra inside the seal is disrupted and when the disruption happens it causes the seal glows in a dark red color and surges of red lightning like surges of light, these surges produce a sound that's familiar by the user as well as the bright glowing light alerting the user that a foreign chakra has entered his body, this is a pretty useful technique since it alerts the user of foreign chakra in which inside his body by his opponent the second the foreign chakra enters the body, which is useful in letting the user know that he is under a genjutsu technique used by his opponent, the only downside to this technique is that if the user used the Cursed Seal, Sage Mode, Bijuu Techniques or Eight Internal Gates, the Seal would glow as well since it's a foreign chakra that's not the user's own, thus the user isn't able to know if he's under a genjutsu whilst any of the previously mentioned modes are active.

Fuuinjutsu: Mizu No Kami No Shirushi | Sealing Arts: Seal of the Water God

Description: The seal of the Water God is a special seal developed for the purpose to aid the user in tough situations. The seal itself is a circle of kanji surrounding the kanji for "Divine" in the middle. The user himself is the seal and can manifest it in any part of his body he wishes. The seal only works against Water techniques and is a very good defense against them. The seal activates and draws in any nearby water technique into himself, storing both the water and the chakra it contained inside of it. The seal can then serve multiple purposes:
-Reverence of God: The user will use the sealed, chakra infused, water to boost the damage of another water technique. Once he has absorbed an enemy technique, he does the handseals or rituals, needed for his own technique and, instead of its normal release, releases the technique from the seal itself (generally manifesting it in his hands). The end result is the water technique that the user performed with the addition of damage of the technique he had absorbed. The damage added is equal to the chakra points absorbed. Can be used 2 times.
-Divine Will: The user will use the sealed, chakra infused, water to combo with another elemental technique. Once he has absorbed an enemy technique he does the handseals or rituals needed for his own technique and, instead of its normal release, releases the technique from the seal itself (generally manifesting it in his hands). The end result is an elemental combo of both water and the element of the technique he performed. The rank of the combo is equal to rank of the elemental technique used although becoming a dual elemental technique. Can be used 2 times.
-Touch of Drought: The user will manifest the seal in both his hands and absorb any nearby moisture or water into the seal in a mere moment. This can be used to negate weather patterns such as clouds or mist but also to make it harder to breathe or to drain water sources. This can also be used to, upon touching an enemy, induce a temporary dehydration to the enemy, making him stumble and lose focus as well as stamina and strength, as he feels dizzy and weak. The effects last one turn. Can be used 2 times.
Note: Absorbing a technique counts as a move and can only be done 3 times. Cannot absorb more than one at a time.

Description: This is an advanced Sealing technique, triggered by a Seal that's located on the left arm of the user's body that's written with a large Kanji letter "Absorption" this seal has some of the user's chakra already infused in it, the seal sends pulses of chakra around the user within Short range from him, once there's an invisible gas with chakra infused in it that's near the user, the Seal glows in a bright yellow color and activates, quickly forming an invisible barrier of chakra around the user's body, this barrier absorbs the invisible gas making it harmless to the user's body, another aspect to this technique is that when the barrier absorbs the invisible gas, the opponent wouldn't have any control over the gas that's being absorbed, meaning he cannot reshape it or cause it to explode due to the user's chakra being around it

This seal would activate, and release a surge of chakra from it, capable of flushing out the foreign chakra aimed at making the summoning disperse. The two would clash, and disperse, leaving the summoning unharmed and leave them to remain on the field. The seal is placed onto all summonings before hand, and is always on them when they are summoned into battle, though it should be mentioned in the biography.

Description: The user will have two seals on their body with the Kanji for "Solitude" infused with their sound chakra. The seals are located inside the ear canal (must be stated in the user's biography) and will activate automatically upon any chakra infused sound (not just the element) or technique entering the user's ear. The seal will then emit a sound wave with an amplitude opposite that of the invasive technique so that destructive interference occurs and the two cancel each other out. The seals will maintain the frequency for as long as the sound is being heard/transmitted by the opponent, allowing this jutsu to counter not only momentary techniques but those which are sustained or prolonged. This technique's use lies only in preventing chakra-infused sounds being heard and as such it's use is largely limited to countering Sound Genjutsu and similar abilities. The activation of this technique is instant (but still counts as a move) so it can intercept and cancel sound-based techniques before they're heard. As such, the user is free to perform techniques in the same time-frame (even if the seals are still actively transmitting to cancel a sustained frequency). These seals cancel chakra-infused sounds before they can affect the body by stopping them as they pass through the ear canal and so it essentially prevents illusions from taking effect. This means seals which activate upon foreign chakra entering the user's body will not be triggered. This technique can only counter one technique at a time and only one technique per use (counters up to and including S-Ranks).

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.

The seals are located inside the ear canal (must be stated in the user's biography) and will activate automatically upon any chakra infused sound (not just the element) or technique entering the user's ear. The seal will then emit a sound wave with an amplitude opposite that of the invasive technique so that destructive interference occurs and the two cancel each other out. The seals will maintain the frequency for as long as the sound is being heard/transmitted by the opponent, allowing this jutsu to counter not only momentary techniques but those which are sustained or prolonged. This technique's use lies only in preventing chakra-infused sounds being heard and as such it's use is largely limited to countering Sound Genjutsu and similar abilities. The activation of this technique is instant (but still counts as a move) so it can intercept and cancel sound-based techniques before they're heard. As such, the user is free to perform techniques in the same time-frame (even if the seals are still actively transmitting to cancel a sustained frequency). These seals cancel chakra-infused sounds before they can affect the body by stopping them as they pass through the ear canal and so it essentially prevents illusions from taking effect. This means seals which activate upon foreign chakra entering the user's body will not be triggered. This technique can only counter one technique at a time and only one technique per use (counters up to and including S-Ranks).

Description: This technique is composed of a sealing formula that remains active until triggered, this sealing formula bears the Kanji letter of "ガ" or in literal meaning "guard" which is located on the user's upper arm. This sealing formula erects an invisible barrier that's made around the user at all times but does not actually cost the user a move until it activates, the barrier works by detecting the chakra of a fast incoming technique and deflects it, causing it to dissipate and leave the user unharmed, the barrier's deflection ability is only triggered by a fast moving technique, basically a technique that can't be tracked by normal eye sight and requires at least a Sharingan or similar means to track, the barrier that's around the user detects the speed once the technique collides with the chakra released from the barrier that's around the user and the sealing formula glows suddenly, causing the barrier that surrounds the user to repel the incoming technique within short range of the user.

Description: The Resonator is a legendary shinobi weapon, developed during the establishing era of Otogakure. Since the villagers of Otogakure were known for their ability to control sound and soundwaves they wanted to develop a weapon to complement their talent. As the outcome, The Resonator was made. Regarding its looks, it's not much different than a regular katana. However, since a book shouldn't be judged by its covers, neither should this weapon. Its real power lies within it. The Resonator is actually shallow, having an elongated cavity within it, with a long and thin needle inside it. The cavity is barely a few millimeters in diameter, enough for the needle to be positioned in the middle and still have space to move around. The purpose of the needle is to react to soundwaves. As a soundwave comes across the blade, the needle starts vibrating and tapping on the inside walls of the hole, enhancing the soundwaves and transferring them through the hilt, into the users hand, informing him of the incoming soundwaves. The user, having full mastery of the Sound release, is supposed to know a variety of different frequencies and by the way the needle vibrates, he can distinguish incoming soundwaves, without even hearing them. The weapon is slightly bigger than a regular katana in both thickness and length, in order to make sure that it doesn't lose on sturdiness because of the hole within it. The weapon is made from a special steel called Tamahagane and it consists of several layers of this material, making it very strong and firm. Because of the technique used to make it, it's considered indestructible and it's edge is very hard to dull.
The resonating needle and its ability are considered passive because they are built into its structure, while the weapon also has an unique ability that the user can activate upon his wish, using the resonating frequency. However, this active ability can only be used twice per battle and it can't be used in consecutive turns. Each of the basic five elements has it's own frequency and when the user uses one of them, they produce a sound, unless it's stated otherwise in the description of the jutsu. As the sound of the jutsu hits the sword and the needle resonates at the certain frequency its vibration creates a, so called reverberation, which simply requires the user to swing the sword in order to release the soundwave and cast a weak genjutsu onto the opponent. The swing should be performed immediately after or in conjunction with the previous jutsu in order to maximize its effectiveness. The genjutsu would be B ranked and simple and straightforward. In the genjutsu, the user would change the way the opponent perceives the incoming jutsu. He could make the jutsu change its trajectory and make it appear as if the jutsu if following an arc or such. Since it's an audiovisual genjutsu, the sound would correspond the visual trajectory of the jutsu. Of course, all effects are bound to the rules of Narutoverse and are required to be as realistic as possible, again concentrating on its effectiveness.

Barney has a wide assortment of kunai, shuriken and other various ninja tools stored in his pouches and they all have the Shadow Footsteps tags attached to them. He keeps the pouches tied on his thighs for easy access. He caries smoke bombs, flash bombs, wires, paper tags, seals and other tools. He also carries small, durable pills filled with water which are easily broken when the user throws them or when he applies pressure.

Description: Shadow Footsteps is a complex technique that involves multiple fields of specialization in order to achieve its effects. To simplify the technique, in its essence it is a seal placed onto a paper tag that is attached onto kunai or shuriken with the purpose to release a sound that induces an illusion when activated. The paper tag looks like a regular explosive paper tag to any observer, but instead of the usual inscription it has the kanji for shadow (影) and footstep (足). Within the seal, the user has sealed a portion of his own sound chakra that is programmed to release the sound of a series of loud, running footsteps as the seal is activated. The key to activate the seal is simple. The thrown kunai or shuriken has to, basically, hit something (the ground, a tree, a wall, the opponent, etc) in order to activate the seal and to release the sealed sound chakra. The purpose of sealing the sound chakra into a seal and then throwing it away is to take advantage of the wast battlefield and the fact that the user can't be anywhere on the battlefield at the same moment. This technique allows the user, however, to produce sounds from all around the battlefield even when he's stationary in order to confuse the opponent and scare him into believing that he's being attacked by shadow clones or summons without ever seeing their actual creation. As the sound chakra is released as loud footsteps and the opponent hears their sound, he would be placed into an illusion. Within the illusion, the opponent would start seeing shadows blazing across the ground of the battlefield at great speed and the user would vanish from his sight in the chaos of the blazing shadows. The shadows would be paired with the sounds released from the seal in a true multidimensional fashion. This means that the opponent would see the shadows and hear their footseps from multiple directions, making it hard to concentrate and to focus on a single target. This confusion and chaos allows the user to take advantage and strike freely, while his real location and intentions are hidden from the opponent. The seal can be previously placed on the users arsenal but it needs to be stated in the biography. Although the user has the ability to throw a maximum of 4 weapons with attached seals with one usage of the technique, they wouldn't cast multiple illusions on the opponent simultaneously, nor would they increase the power of the illusion. Instead, each activation of the seal would cast over the previous illusion, essentially refreshing the illusion. This means that there can only be one active instance of Shadow Footsteps at any given time. Also, casting any other illusion while this one is active would end it because this illusion isn't susceptible to layering.
