Bardock the Super Saiyan of Legend?

Do you think Bardock was the Super Saiyan that Vegeta and Frieza spoke of? Seeing as he went back in time and fought Chilled(frieza's ancestor) and Chilled sends his last warning to his family to beware of the Super Saiyan. Thoughts?

yeah its kinda canon I guess like this newest movie (B.O.T.G.) and Vegeta apparently really has that little brother now.
Bardock going back in time with the ability that *alien* gave him I thought was only supposed to be able to see into the future , but now he can apparently go back into the past and stuff... well I guess that could explain why at least a little why he was never in the Other World although everyone doesn't keep their bodies and stuff. <_<

Wasn't canon I believe. And didn't Bardock live in that time period? I don't think he ever time traveled.

And the legend of the Super Saiyan was the power of the form, not any Saiyan in particular.

The Episode of Bardock was originally a three chapter manga written by Naho Ōishi.

She's like Toriyama's student and was given the approval by him to write it.
