[Discussion] Barbershop Refuses To Cut Woman’s Hair then gets fined

A barbershop in Pennsylvania has been fined $750 for refusing to cut the hair of a woman. This barbershop prides itself on being a place where men can get together, get their hair cut, watch sports, and not have to worry about women in the environment. Unfortunately, there was one woman upset by this when she made and appointment for herself and her boyfriend and then the barbershop turned her away because they simply do not service women.


Its like a dude going to a women salon thinking i would get served pretty sure men would be kicked out since its women personal area. ​

Well she wanted a short hair cut like men-- when you are allowing men who think they are women in female washrooms in school..And so many love to call men dressed as a woman as 'she'...

Though there are businesses that may cater to a specific gender, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act prohibits public accommodations (including barber shops) from discriminating because of ***, among other things.

As the manager of a nearby Curves gym — a female-centric business — points out: men can be customers if they want to be around mostly women, but it’s up to them.

“We don’t discriminate against men here, we don’t stop them from joining,” she explains. “We tell them there’s only women here and most of them don’t join. I’m not sure why they might want to join here, but we wouldn’t stop them.”

Anyway-- since I see guys in the parlour visiting for beauty treatment, I go for my hair cut, I couldn't care less. No, it's not advertised as a Unisex saloon though they use cabins only for them instead of the common area unless it's a young male kid( mostly accompanied by mother).
