It has every right to. We do have a separation of church and state so if they're not allowed to place their statue in certain places, neither are any other religious groups.

well according to the article the monument so the Oklahoma one might be removed anyway. Still, the ten commandments was already established and has the better argument imo for remaining than this satanic statue being newly placed. The ten commandments one at least makes sense since it links to U.S heritage. However, if ts going to be removed there is nothing to be done since its been deemed illegal

Satanic cults are more about doing things that are designed to try and upset the dogmatic policies of churches. The flawed assumption is that the Church is justified on their account of God and that, thereby doing the opposite makes them followers of Satan.

For alleged worshipers of "The Beast," they don't really understand much about who or what he is.

So it's kind of comical and even adorable in a weird sense. Weird *** rituals, fascination with blood, and material things aren't necessarily 'good' - but far from what condemns you to eternal damnation. The concept of spiritual anarchy is, also, not necessarily anything to do with satanic influence.

True - doing whatever you want out of pure self-interest is potentially destructive to those around you and not good... but it's not something that is worth eternal damnation. A hundred years of self-interest is not something that gets you an eternity of hellfire or special privileged status as a tormenter of those trapped within hellfire. It may make you a prick/***** - but it's entirely forgivable. Animals act almost entirely on self-interest - and we love and adore the hell out of them. It may not be becoming of human beings - but we all make such decisions in life and can't necessarily point fingers.

So, it should be interesting to see how the afterlife pans out for all of us.

Or doesn't pan out at all... that's always a possibility.

The law is what we're talking about. The satanic statue can not be barred because of any law. If that's the case, then any other statue of religious meaning must also be taken down.

The statue can be barred simply because the governing body declines to give permission.

For example - the city council has to approve any monument placed upon the grounds of City Hall. They don't have to provide a reason for voting one way or another, and a choice to vote down a satanic statue while approving one of the Ten Commandments is entirely legal.

Now - you would be correct in stating that, legally, a city cannot write a law prohibiting a certain religion out of hand - but this does not mean that I can start up a new religion and demand my statue of the spaghetti monster be accepted alongside the Ten Commandments by a vote of the city council. The council can still vote it down.
