Well if Kamui can freeze Enemy in Space barrier before dragging into hole transporting to other dimenssion, then I see not problem with BT doing same making escape impossible except throwing jutsu at them to force them to cancel attacks.

I'm guessing those who had the most chakra were effected by that dimension.Kaguya was effected more,but was able to withstand it more than Naruto and Sasuke because she stronger.
