It resides within me, hidden deeply,
I can hear it whispering from the dark;
The sorrowful emotions that take over so fiercely
The damage done has left it's mark.
All the sorrow and fear are intertwined,
My inner beast is pulling the strings;
I'm like a puppet for the mastermind,
A slave to the darkness that it brings.
I am an apple with a decaying, rancid core;
Prepared for my own intimidation,
And my soul's a theatre of an endless war;
It's a bane from this beasts manipulation.
