Meh, they are actually gumballs. xD I learned about dynamics in cinema4d, so I thought why not give it a try while using simulation tags. This scene is quite simple, numerous gumballs falling from sky on the plane and that's it. Global Illumination and HDRI kit by Nick Compbell makes it more realistic. Total render time is about 15 mins on my i5 2.4Ghz 4GB Nvidia GT525M.

its small, if you really want to then PM your screen resolution. I'll render it again as according to your needs plus no watermark. ^^

Good to see another c4d user. You might want to check your render settings. That picture should render out in under 5min, especially on your rig, there isn't much shadowing or reflection to calculate.
More than likely it's the GS gorillas product. It's good but a massive resource hog.
I like the pic though, nice work.

I forgot to mention that I was using physical renderer instead of standard one for Depth of Field. xD it really consume more time than normal one with global illumination and ambient occlusion turned on.

I haven't done too much with the physical renderer as yet, im a vray man. It's speed and quality surpass the built in render engines.
Sometimes the GI actually ruins the lighting for me and it's better to have a studio light rig instead.

Your balls are great, they are so clean and those reflections are nice.
