Badass and slow Hashirama...

So, Sasuke asks Hashirama, the first Hokage, an important question. While answering this, Hashirama knows there is a war on-going, so in stead of answering quickly, he is taking all the time to answer this question. In fact, he is saying too much information. I mean, Sasuke has no message about the stuff that Madara can't pee when someone is standing behind him, lol. People are dying while Hashirama and Sasuke are talking, but still they are so slow... How (unrespectfully) badass?!


Dat Hashirama, this is what is happening at the battlefield (Obito-Madara-Juubi vs Alliance) while he is talking his very detailed story:


Hashirama: "I met Madara the first time at the age of 7"
*15 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "I was better then him at stone skipping"
*50 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "Suddenly, we saw a dead body in the river..."
*100 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "I was sick of this war so my father punched me"
*130 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "My little brother was killed by some Uchiha's.."
*200 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "Madara talked with me about it, he lost some brothers too..."
*250 fodders killed at the battlefield*

Hashirama: "We trained together and talked about changing the world"
*1000 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "We laughed and had fun together"

Hashirama: "Madara couldn't pee when I was standing behind him"

Hashirama: "Tobirama followed me and told my dad about it..."
*1470 fodders killed at the battlefield*
Hashirama: "My father thought I was a homo because I was meeting with Madara all the time..."

Hashirama: "My father and Tobirama planned an ambush, but I warned Madara, he warned me too..."

its slow, but it is interesting. kishi wants you to see madara/hashirama childhood so you understand not only their bond, but why they started the one country one village setup.

i like it and hope it continues. no manga next week! poop

That was a little exaggerated timeline in between the hashi's narration, it may be just 15-30 mins story telling time, just for the sake of the manga, it seems like forever.

He's not describing every event and every tree and every rock. He's telling a short story which we are viewing through a flashback. What we see is not necessarily what hashi is saying word for word.

yaa he is taking time but its only for THE GREATER GOOD of the shinobi.. i think he explained it in manga also that the war descision will be made but if he did not help sasuke it wuld all be useless...

Even when I am high or wasted as f*ck, I'll never would write Sasuke > anything, lol. Sasuke is one of the worst characters in this manga.

Well.. The manga may be taking a while to get through this flashback, and I do understand that this is mainly a joking post.
However, I think what Hashirama is trying to tell Sasuke is that through this story, he is teaching him what the meaning of shinobi is.
Plus, it's not like he just whipped out a projector and made Sasuke start watching a movie or something. To top it off, Hashirama of all people should understand that the proceeding generation will surpass the previous one, and without a doubt is confident in the shinobi's abilities. Even if this WAS taking forever, it's not like the Hokage being at the battlefield would stop fodder ninja from being wiped out.
Just my two cents.

Well the story telling tooks us maybe 20 chapter but only 5 min in narutoverse.. but yeah as he talking people dying out there but as hashi said if he ignores this one, another will new madara..
