Seriously.

Between the awful translation and the poorly drawn panels (what the hell was going on with Tsunade's healing? How did she try to kill him with him own Jutsu? What was Oonoki's attack? Was that a giant crow?) I think I would have understood better if it was still in Japanese.

yeah, some of the text was impossible to understand, I'm also hoping for a better and correct translation

Seriously.

Between the awful translation and the poorly drawn panels (what the hell was going on with Tsunade's healing? How did she try to kill him with him own Jutsu? What was Oonoki's attack? Was that a giant crow?) I think I would have understood better if it was still in Japanese.

tsunade's healing seems to be an extension of what she showed against kabuto and orochimaru way back, it seems like it's her ultimate jutsu and allows her to take a serious injury but have no truble with it. I'm guessing the aftereffect will be devastating, perhaps even death (opening the hokage possition for naruto)
she tryed to kill him with susano's sword blade, if you look closly at the pannels you can notice she first cuts in in half, then hits it through her body and catches it at the back of her body then taking a swing hat madara with it.
onoki's attack was one of dust element techniques, he was trying to disintegrate madara, previous chapters explain his techniques better, especialy the first time we see him use it during the kage meeting befor the start of the war
and the dead crow was to show that sasuke overcame itachi's attempt at slowing sasuke down, in the chapter befor itachi summoned those crows
