2. He thought tobi was madara and so did EVERYONE else expect zetsu, kabuto, madara and tobi knew who he was......itachi said madara only took his eyes and again read the manga better
3. him and naruto is the only one that ever cared for sasuke for who he is and like sasuke said the loneliness turned into power....
4. He never TRIED to capture naruto because if he did naruto would not have 9 tails.....so STFU

This is a gray area, he probably killed some innocent people among the plotters. Can't really say whether or not it was the right decision or not. Kind of like asking if we should of used nukes on Japan or shouldn't we have. By doing so we saved the lives of our people instead of risking a ground invasion. On the negative side, a lot of innocent Japanese people died from it.
