Basic Information
Name: Bacchus Hyuga
Nickname: The Drunk Jaguar
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Clan: Hyuga
Looks: Bacchus is a tall and muscular man with straight dark hair, which is slicked back and gathered on the back of his head, where it is kept in a bun, hidden away by a light cloth with ruffled edges secured by a similarly colored strip. He has slanted eyes marked by dark lines, with dark pupils circled by lighter irises, each bearing four irregular dark forms below it, with the central pair of forms being larger than the two on the sides, which are topped by dark and arched eyebrows. He also appears to possess sharp canine teeth. Hanging from his ears is a pair of light earrings, whose shape is reminiscent of a gourd; an object which is commonly employed to drink alcohol, in reference to Bacchus' own drinking habits.
Bacchus' outfit leaves most of his muscular torso exposed, instead covering his arms and shoulders with dark armor plates, possessing thin light edges, which join on the upper part of his back and are topped by a wide, arched armored collar in correspondence to his neck. Covering his legs is a very baggy pair of dark pants, which ends below his knees and sports large, light motifs reminiscent of flames on the legs' outer edges, and circling his waist is a light sash tied on his left hip, with its long edges left hanging. For footwear, Bacchus dons dark, plain looking shoes with light soles, worn with calves-long light socks which reach up to his pants' edges.
Personality: Bacchus' personality has mostly been shown with him in an intoxicated state. As his very name and epithet suggest, he greatly enjoys drinking alcohol, and, even while sober, is very competitive, having approached Tsunade to challenge her to a drinking contest. After winning such contest and getting drunk, he left her bare-chested by taking her bikini top "as a trophy"; something which also hints at a certain lack of decorum and at some perverse tendencies, again testified when Bacchus referred to Mei Terumi as the usual "fine woman", and definitively confirmed when, before his match with Gaara, he asked the Kazekage to make a bet with him; a bet which, in case of Bacchus' victory, would have resulted in him spending one night with Gaara's sister Temari. In spite of this, Bacchus appears to have a sense of honor, acknowledging Gaara as a "man" as he lost to him during their battle, admitting defeat. He's also very exuberant, and, much like many of his fellow guild members, has the habit to refer to his or other's spirit as "wild".

Descritpion: This technique is an adapatation of Jiraiya's crushing toad stomach technique which reverse summoned the user and their opponents into the stomach of a toad on Mt. Myoboku. In this variation the user reverse summons him and his opponent deep into the homeland Rain forest of the Jaguars. Giant trees fill the forest with their thick canopies hundreds of feet in the air and to those below looks like a pitch black night sky. The thickness of the canopy blocks out light limiting vision to both the user and the opponent so that nothing can be seen at long range, at mid range a person's silhouette can be seen while at short range they are fully visible. In this forest it is constantly raining in a heavy down pour that saturates the area. This location is a specifically forbidden section of the forest due to its mysterious and sacred past. People who remain here too long will be forcible removed after three turns by unknown forces.
~Can only be used once per battle.
~Must be capable of summoning the boss Jaguar summon.
~No Jaguar summonings or reverse summonings can be used for the remainder of the battle.
~Inside this area the user is incapable of using Fire or Lightning techniques.

Background Info.
History: Bacchus' mother was a high ranking member of the Hyuga clan's side branch. For a long time she looked down on herself as she was always taught the main branch of the clan was superior. Though she was aware of the absurdity in this belief, she still couldn't escape it; it was etched into her body through a seal on her forehead. As Bacchus' third birthday approached she became more panicked by the thought of her child being engraved with the same mark. Three days before the ceremony, she convinced Bacchus' father to flee with her and Bacchus and live outside the clan. Their attempted departure was discovered, forcing Bacchus' father to stand his ground and buy time for Bacchus and his mother to escape. It was difficult for Bacchus' mother to find a new home following their departure from Konoha. Going to any of the other main villages or their allies meant certain discovery. Instead she ended up settling down in Amegakure, a village constantly caught up in turmoil. While it was a dangerous place, it was also a place where people were able to disappear. Its here that Bacchus was raised.
His mother was never properly trained in ninjutsu or taijutsu while in Konoha, but she was still able to pick up some fighting technique from observing others. Using these skills she did her best to protect Bacchus and teach him how to fend for himself. Eventually the duty of protecting the family was transferred from her to Bacchus. Around this time, Bacchus came to be friends with a female shinobi, Akiza of the Black Rose. She was a talented kunoichi and took Bacchus under her wing, teaching him a wide variety of ninja combat styles from the basics to even more advanced techniques. She recognized Bacchus' byakugan from past battles she had with Hyuga clan members. Bacchus' mother had never explained to him why they left Konoha or really anything about the Hyuga clan. During one training episode Akiza revealed the history of his Byakugan to him and told him if he wanted to unlock his eye's true potential he should return to Konoha and seek training. Bacchus understood, and knew living in Amegakure was not safe for him nor his mother. However when explaining the situation to his mother, she refused to leave with him, as she came to call Amegakure home. Akiza offered to watch over Bacchus' mother while he made the journey she knew he had to go on. And so he embarked on a journey to his home.
After leaving the Hidden Rain village, Bacchus wandered through a large and rainy forest. The forest only seemed to become more dense while the trees stretched to unimaginable heights. Much to Bacchus' surprise he came to a large clearing filled with a massive city of stone temples. It seemed deserted as they walked down the main road, but something was off. Bacchus activated his Byakugan as a precaution, and it paid off. Two bodies crept towards Bacchus from his sides, and lunged at him, claws and fangs exposed. In a quick battle Bacchus was able to defeat the two cat-like beasts. Upon doing so a booming voice echoed through the city, "Xblanaque, Hunahpu......Enough!". The two Jaguars dragged themselves to their feet and looked at Bacchus. One of them spoke, "Its been a long time since a human was able to defeat us, stranger. I believe Tez-sama wishes to speak with you." The Jaguar motioned Bacchus to follow, and proceeded towards the largest temple at the end of the main road.
They entered the temple which opened into a huge chamber. In a large stone throne sat a massive jaguar, who introduced himself as Tezcatlipoca, the God of Jaguars. Tezcatlipoca explained to Bacchus that he had wandered into their sacred city, Tenochtitlan, of the Eiamejanguru (Eternal Rain Forest); something that no human had done for many years. He thought it was fate that guided him along that hidden path and he was impressed by Bacchus' ability and decided to train him in the Jaguar arts, and let him sign the contract which none had done since a Kunoichi named Sin had done so. Over the next several months Bacchus and his mother stayed in this city, learning the secrets of the Jaguars. After the training was complete it came time for Bacchus' departure.
After departing the forest, Bacchus met several more shinobi. A man named Chiryoku helped further develop his taijutsu, while a snake-like person taught him some of the sealing arts, though he disappeared before the training was complete. A particularly unique, and somewhat scary man named Nexus invited Bacchus to join his medical school. Seeing this as a unique opportunity, Bacchus joined the school and studied hard during the first few semesters. But at some point Bacchus began to slack off and discovered his love of alcohol. He ignored his studies, resulting in his premature expulsion from the school. Apparently upon expulsion the mysterious man used some sort of amnesia ninjutsu on Bacchus, causing him to forget all the medical training and knowledge he had learned. The trip had taken longer than he had expected, but the delays were well worth it, as he had become a powerful ninja.
Bacchus finally reached the village of Konoha and revealed his story to the Hokage of that time, Xylon, the Shodaime. He was given safe haven in the village and even given full citizenship. He quickly became assimilated into the shinobi force of the village and began developing strong bonds with the rest of the village. One man in particular, Scorps, was a promising young leaf shinobi. He also happened to be of the Hyuga clan. Bacchus became friends with Scorps and eventually learned to use his unique eyes to the fullest, and was taught the gentle fist fighting style. Not long after he arrived the Shodaime defected, and disappeared. A power vacuum was quickly filled by an ambitious, but unstable man named the Pervy Sage, who became the Nidaime Hokage. It was a short lived and tumultuous period in the village. Soon after taking control of the village, The Pervy Sage went mad with power. The village fell into chaos as Pervy did everything in his power in an attempt to destroy it, though his true motives were much more human. Pervy was desperately trying to gain the attention of the mysterious man who had once taught Bacchus his medical knowledge, Nexus. However, once he did, Nexus' wrath was swift. He brought thee ban hammer down upon Pervy, with all of its might and fury. Some say a smile could be seen on the Nidaime's face just before the hammer made contact, and vaporized his body.
With the Nidaime dispatched, a village wide vote was held to decide who his successor would be. It was a lengthy and nerve racking process, much of the village took this time to leave for greener pastures, but the loyal ones stayed. Much to Bacchus' surprise the village elected him to be the Sandaime Hokage. Bacchus was unsure at first whether he was Hokage material, but the support of the villagers quickly removed any uncertainty. The village entered a period of great cultural and economic prosperity, rebuilding its shattered structure. It was peaceful; the embodiment of the Will of Fire. But despite the happiness of its villagers the military force never recovered to pre-Pervy levels. This forced Konoha into alliances with several of the other hidden villages. This hidden alliance quickly pulled Konoha into a devastating war. Following the plans of a hidden mist kunoichi, Liliana, the leaf went to war and attacked Kumogakure along with members from other villages. This however was nothing but a trap set forth by the cunning mind of Liliana. Once the top shinobi of several villages laid siege to Kumogakure, the Mizukage stabbed them in the back. With the help of several of his ninja he set up a powerful forbidden jutsu set to destroy the entire village, everyone inside included. However, due to some....technical issues, the betrayal failed. Everyone returned to their villages and the alliance was shattered.
Over the next several months the actions of the Akatsuki increased, and Konoha was destroyed on several occasions. Rumors spread that the former Hokages, both Xylon and a recently revived Pervy were heading the organization. It was a difficult time but the hearts of Konoha stayed strong and everyone continued to enjoy themselves. Not long after Bacchus' 21st birthday he recieved a visit from Nexus. He was told that due to Konoha's apparent lack of military strength he would be re-creating the village hierarchy. Part of this plan was for Bacchus to step down from his position as hokage, giving way for a powerful and legendary shinobi named Izuna Uchiha. While it wasn't the best of news, Bacchus was somewhat relieved. The duties of protecting the village from constant attack had worn him down, and he was ready to move on. He knew the village was better off under Izuna and so he stepped down, retiring from the Hokage position.
The village went through an almost instantaneous renaissance. Not only had Izuna been made Hokage, but another legendary ninja named Scary Yamato had come with him as an adviser. Izuna also selected a Konoha shinobi as his second adviser, Scorps. Bacchus was also given the honor of setting up a village tournament for the shinobi, which is currently still going on. Recently a surge in akatsuki activity has plague the ninja world. Each of the five villages felt the heat from this group of spineless criminals. Seeing that the issue needed to be dealt with, the villages formed their own group, Tasogare. At the first meeting of the group Bacchus was skeptical. He couldn't help but be apprehensive due to the fact those who backstabbed him, Alucard and Liliana, during his stint as Hokage were sitting across the table. It was tense at first, but after some words of reassurance, Bacchus was able to settle down. The group discussed ways to deal with the group of criminals and found a lead on one of their hideouts. Scorps and Liliana departed to follow the trail and came upon one of the hideouts. Upon investigating they found that it had been abandoned. The cowards of Akatsuki had felt the duo's approach and fled the scene in fear.
With the apparent threat of Akatsuki gone for the time being, Tasogare disbanded with everyone returning to their respective village. It is here at Konoha where our hero Bacchus currently awaits his next adventure.

Other
Elemental Affinities: Bacchus's primary element is wind which he is a master of, capable of using its techniques with a single hand seal. His secondary element is water which he is skilled in, though not as much as with wind. He can use these techniques slightly faster than the average ninja. These affinities also made him a natural at the hidden rain style, which he enjoys using in battle.
Gear: Bacchus carries a wide variety of items he uses during battle. He has several pouches along his waist which hold the typical ninja weapons such as kunai, shuriken, explosive tags, etc. Another pouch holds specialized marshmallows which he uses for his marshmallow custom element. He wears a single katana on his back and is skilled in kenjutsu. His personal alcohol gourd is held on this right hip with the kanji for "Ghost", "Cry" and "Drunk" on it.
