Place your bets people. Will Obito be forced to kill her himself or will he watch her die?

As I've said in the discussion thead, he may be controlled/forced to watch her die or even worse to kill her without Kakashi being able to stop it, and that's where Obito's hate for Kakashi would come from.

EDIT: Perhaps I wasn't clear enough, he may be controlled or forced to kill her by the Zetsu surrounding him

I doubt he'd kill her and blame Kakashi, it wouldnt make any sense, he probably shows up as she's dying and Zetsu tells him Kakashi could have stopped it or something.

At this moment in time i don't think there is anything that will get Obito to kill Rin even present day it could be argued he'd give his life for Rin so he most likely witnessed her dying.

well i personaly think madara was the cause of rins death and the 2 like zetsu were in on it as madara states make him useful by the time he wakes up

I think they show rin telling Kakashi to save himself because she already to injured to escape and there's no point in both of them dying
when she finally convinces him to leave obito shows up and see what looks like a kakashi abandoning Rin
he think Kakashi didn't change.
and then rin is killed by the mist ninjas.

I like your Idea..makes the most sense out of all that I have read...

There was a theory that Madara got a hit on Kakashi and Rin b/c he was actually able to travel outside of the cave (using the pipes connected to the Gedo Mazou) at the end where you can see the 2 Zetsu's

Probably one of the most straightforward things that could happen. The only reason why I'm slightly against it is because this is Kishi we're talking about here, he must have something more planned (I would never stop laughing if Zabuza killed her...)

I would die laughing if it was true but kakashi would have recognized him when they fought if this was true.
and Even tho kishi is more complex than my idea i think in this point of the story he need not to complicate an all ready complicated flashback

I think madara and his zetsu clones are well aware obito's love for his friends. So madara will use zetsu's clones to transform into mist ninja's and kill rin leave kakashi alive. In the end obito will begin to fall despair and hate everything after that he will accept madara's dream.

I say he will kill her but not willingly and with the result of Madara 's influence he will blame Kakashi for her death and adopt the "Moon Eye Plan" to bring Rin back to life even if it is make believe but I think Madara will back stab Obitio for his own reasons. well thats my guess but I have been wrong before.

He would never kill her.. Obviously watches her die while he can't do a thing because he is too late or something

Imo he gets there and finds that Rin is dead while Kakashi is still alive so he blames Kakashi because he didnt/couldnt save her and Zetsu tell him he cant go out and talk with Kakashi and blalabla something like that cant wait for next week.
